Recently I recalling our fmaily vacation in 1957. My parents took my sisters and I to the East Coast. The automatic was one of the fun sites we got to see. I recall putting the coins in the slot to buy a piece of chocolate pie. I think this may be a back to the future take out.
@@Ann-sj4pt There's a very good reason why we don't have Automats in the UK... 🤖🚫🇬🇧 We don't have EU food safety standards, and the post-Brexit Pound won't stretch to installing _Automats_ now. Our equivalent is a p*ssed-off waitress in her 50s with a three week unwashed pinafore and a cigarette dangling out of her mouth... 😉

With cost of labor getting higher many fast food places will probably become much like the old school Automats.
Lower costs of living instead of hiking minimum wage. A residence's primary purpose should NOT be an investment.

Theres a documentary out there in the Horn & Hardart Automat. I have a DVD of it. Very good one.
