In my opinion "Hell Bent For Leather" a masterpiece of Heavy Metal music. Also a trademark of Judas Priest, a band that goes into history of mankind's music.

Holy shit. I wish so badly I had grown up during this era, I was born in '88. This concert looked like an absolute blast, I've watched this concert and so many other 80s metal concerts on UA-cam over the years. What a fun time, I'm so jealous, this is back when society was freakin NORMAL and fun-loving and easy-going.. lots of hot girls in attendance headbanging too! And no fat people, everyone is trim and good-looking and full of energy.. no cell phones, no hyper-sensitivity, no blue-haired weirdos, no bullshit! Simpler times. The 80s feels like it was one of the last fun decades before America went to shit, like it was pretty much the last hurrah before the party went out with a bang.
Ben C It’s good you’re into Metal this early in your life though. Just wait until high school hits and you’re blasting this in your car going 20 over the speed limit.
The 70's and 80's metal bands was popular and gave tons of money to the music corporations, but most of these band's were created by people without much money, who started from the bottom, and made an hard way to the top, with dishonest managers, and even with the blackout of the radio station, only to see a bunch of stupid people accusing them of satanism, of decadency, and other things. They even made enemies in governements, like in USA (PMRC). Many of the 90's and latter called "heavy metal" bands, had more help of the music industry, were played in the radios, and most of their hits, and even line ups, were/are created by people beyond desks and not by the bands thereselfs. Must of them weren't\aren't even "heavy metal" but are called as heavy metal because that term help to sell. I don't know who old you are, but being a rock fan wasn't always as normal as today or in the 90's. In the 80's people look at us as if we were all a bunch junkies, devil workshippers, and sexual perverts. And rock music represented our rage and frustrations. Rock music were trully rebellious. Most of the post 90's rock music just doesn't have that rebellion.
Nope. Metal was seen as "evil" and "nocive" back then. If a kid killed himself, the mainstream media and the governement blamed rock music, if a kid became a drug addict, the society blamed rock music, if a kid stole a candy in the shop, his parents blamed rock music. Many hard and heavy rock bands sold very well their albuns from the 80's, but they almost didn't had any airplay in radio stations or tv, who usualy just played pop, new-wave and other mainstream styles. Even the heavy rock bands more "mainstream" like , for example, Scorpions, were not so "mainstream" back them. Rock music were popular among those who felt as outsiders in our hypocritical societies. But "popular" isn't the same thing as "mainstream". Doubts? Listen to some "popular" rock albuns from the 80's, like Screaming For Vengeance, Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son, Heaven And Hell, Back In Black, Holy Diver, Ace Of Spades, Peace Sells, Burning The Witches, Blackout, Operation Mindcrime, Diary of a Madman, Master Of Puppets, Headhunter, Run For Cover, Perfect Strangers, Restless And Wild, Appetite For Destruction, The Headless Children, Abigail, Keeper Of The Seven Keys...
