PFoZ is an international internet based Led Zeppelin tribute band. We record and film our own versions of Led Zeppelin songs and post them to UA-cam for entertainment and educational purposes. Special guests include Professor Obs-Tweedle, keyboardists, the occasional rock star, and of course Nola and Zuzu.
We are:
Ivan Jakic - Guitar
George Fludas - Drums
Pete Etxenike - Bass
Tai Vare - Vocals
Not to be confused with The Zeppelin People's Front.
Completely authentic rendition of this iconic Led Zeppelin song. First time I have ever seen another band pull that off. The quality and sheer dexterity of the guitar playing shows not only the level of the guitarist playing here but showcases how creative Jimmy Page was. The Bass and Drummer are as tight as Jones and Bonham ever were and the singer has carried the surreal emotion required. An immense achievement guys and I hope Jimmy Page sees this.
Thanks so much!
Thank you Phil! Your feedback means a lot 🙏🙏🙏.
I remember at 19 years old playing TSRTS version at a packed backyard party. Except I was a bum and only had a 1957 Les Paul TV to my name. PFOZ you bring back some great memories Thank You
@@felicelococo9226 glad to take you back!
There are Lots of Elements from TSRTS live version
If you have listened the whole song during the premiere - you are a true LZ and PFoZ fan
Truly impressive on everyone's part! That was definitely worth going to bed 29 minutes late for!!!!
What an undertaking! My heart was delighted because you did some of my favorite parts from the live jammier version, perfectly,
and also _Walter's Walk_ is one of my favorite songs where I can't understand why so few seem to love it like I do.
Freaking amazing work though.
Awesome!
Man that bow solo was EPIC! Congratulations and Thank You for that privilege to listening.
Thanks for watching!
Coming Down The Pipeline!!!!
Congratulations Ivan, George, Pete and Tai. A breathtaking presentation. This work deserves to become known on a giant scale of views. A privilege to watch your exceptional work. Greetings from Brazil. 👏👏👏👏👏
WHEN ARE WE FLYING IVAN TO THE STATES SO YOU GUYS CAN PLAY TOGETHER LIVE??? 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Oh my... and a bit of Walter's Walk as well! Who can't hear the bass!? Get a subwoofer, lol. Excellent, excellent work as always, fellas!
Thanks!
Quality - never would have thought that i would listen to a cover of the live D&C - Page's playing in the 73 MSG version was unbelievable - but this was great. I even got goose bumps during the Wearing and Tearing segment !
Thanks!
A fantastic version even if it is only 29 minutes long---I could've listened to another hour 😃
Ha, thanks!
I think one of the Seattle versions from ‘75 clocks in around 45 minutes if you’re bored 😂
@@SopranoPizzaJMFNJ That cracked me up, thank you.
Believe it or believe it not. In 1975 Led Zeppelin played this song 45 minutes on the closing show at the LA forum on March 27th. I was at both the March 24th and 27th shows.
@@SopranoPizzaJMFNJ yep.
Fantastic! My only bit of criticism is that the cat climbing the stairs didn't meet another cat which would magickally age and then immediately get younger and turn into a tiny kitten again. Terrible oversight that.
Also, I prefer the Woodstock lyrics for the Achilles progression part over California. That whole "We are stardust, we are golden" just sounds so dark somehow.
Great that you included the Walter's Walk riff and the Shaft theme!
Thank you for these 29 minutes of utter joy in what is otherwise an especially joyless day here in Kyiv.
Thank you P. Prayers to you all over there. Glad this provided some joy !!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks, and glad we could help in some small way.
The cat had creative differences.
I already LIKED it, because I know it’s gonna be goooood.
Thanks! Make sure you’re comfortable because it’s a half hour long.
That is SO brilliant!!! I feel you really understood the music - it shows what's possible - a phenomenal standard that will hopefully inspire all other Led Zeppelin tribute bands - fabulous, thank you.
Thanks so much! That means a lot!
What an absolutely fantastic performance, once again PFOZ has me blown away with the arrangements chosen from Zep's concert and studio performances!!! I loved the Jimi Hendrix Machine Gun intro at nine minutes, great little bit of music to add into this masterpiece. We'd all love to see you perform live!
Thanks very much!
Excellent… very well done! I love hearing the new innovations like Shaft and the theramin during the bow solo. Almost sounds like what a 1977 rendition could have been.
Thank you!
Tour 2022!
You guys have the perfect formula love your originality can’t say enough gentlemen love it
🙏🏼
Bravo...!
Molten liquid of enormous proportions. Bravo a great performance. Nobodies fault but Mine would be a great song after this. So good.
Thanks! We did NFBM awhile ago. You can access either on YT or through our peoplesfrontofzeppelin.com website
I am completely exhausted!!! Ivan, George, Pete, and Tai, thank you so much for taking us along on this absolutely, amazing journey. You guys poured your heart and soul into this. It was a masterful rendition of Dazed and Confused. Again, thank you so much for making me feel energized by your efforts. Best half hour I have spent in front of UA-cam in a while.
Cheers Torb!! Thank YOU! 🤘🏼💥
Absolutely fantastic. I would love to watch you guys live.
Thanks! Hopefully one day…
You are an awesome drummer Respect!!! The entire performance from all of you I am speechless I do not what to say maybe I should say that is totally beyond comprehension! I cant believe what I have seen and heard the last half hour. INSPIRING
Kao uvijek, fantasticno! Walter's Walk, Shaft, great.
I’m very certain Jimmy, Robert and Mr Jones are aware of AND regularly watch you guys (they’re probably subscribers). That being said I ask them… PLEASE PUT IN A GOOD WORD…
ITS TIME FOR THE BONHAM/ZEPPELIN STORY TO BE TOLD IN FILM!
Wow best work yet you guys are really getting more an more tight. Excellent seeing how it's totally a cyber band never in the same room together. Everyone is scattered throughout the United States one outside the country. It's a good thing that George and Terry met and I believe Terry pushed George more on the Zeppelin thing it was already there but kudos to Terry. George's playing is phenomenal that was always there ,having a jazz background seems like he should have always been in Rock. George kept that time with the hi-hat like the Jazz drummer that he is excellent work George. Hey to Terry 🤘🤟✌
Thank you so much Joe! Terry is our linchpin!!! 👊🏼💥
Thanks!
So many excellent bits in here (Walter's Walk!). Truly captured the essence of Dazed live!!
Thanks, glad you noticed!
You guys should do another Black Dog cover. That would be sick!
The drums sound freaking amazing. What mics did you use?
What an incredible performance! I love how you guys put your own stamp on this and didn't just play it all note for note ( that would have been incredible as well but this is even better).
I've never known anyone who could ever come close to pulling this off other than LZ themselves, and that is saying something!
FANTASTIC!🔥🔥🔥
Thanks very much!
Only 2k views! I hope at least one of those views was Jimmy Page.
🙏
THIS IS COMPLETELY OUTTA HAND!!!!!!!!!!!! Just spectacular!!!
Thanks Terry!
Thanks to you Terry I got a chance to hear this now I need to pick my jaw up from the floor!
LOVE the little James Brown Cold Sweat Motif in there!
Wow, Unbelievable !!!. Sounds just like The Album !!!!! AWESOME JOB GUYS °°°°
No words other than that was amazing. You guys are incredible.
Thanks very much!
Wow. Just wow. That blew me away. I remember listening to that on a bootleg tape way back in the day. beeeeeeeet!!!!!!!
Thanks Baaaaal! Yeah, good times!
Oh hell yeah!!…I’ve been waiting for this one! You guys delivered the goods too. This was fkn SPOT ON. As good a carbon copy as it was, I like how little bits of your own personalities are in it too. It may or may not be easy to improvise on an improvised piece that was basically 6 years in the making. It sure is fun though. I enjoyed it very much. I’ve heard just about all the different live versions and understand it’s musical vernacular like second nature. Loved it guys! Thank u.
Thanks very much!
I love you guys more than I love my wife. Yep I said it.
Jeepers..Blooming good chaps
Great and unique job as always. Somewhere Isaac Hayes is smiling.
Can I pre order my tickets for when you come to Boston!
Ears soothed face stretched (smile) mind blown. As it should be😎☝
Thanks very much!
Absolutely loved the little hots on for nowhere cameo ditty. Fair doos guys. Smashed it.
Thanks!
Hats off to PFoZ! Just amazing
Thanks!
We’ll done. Love your take of this classic.
Outstanding 29 minute jam and love the improv 🤟🏻
Thanks!
That was insanely good! Each one of you played absolutely perfectly, and together you guys are mind blowing. I loved the video effects, and the violin bow was nasty! I felt like I was right there with the hermit on the cliff and his rainbow saber at the end of it. Keep up the incredible work!
Thanks very much!
That was epic!!
Really captured the essence of Led Zepplin playing live!
This might sound crazy, but listening to that really chills me out, I could literally fall asleep!
Great!
One more comment, best 29 minutes and 14 seconds of my life.
Thank you Donald!!!! 🙏🏻🤘🏼
Ha, thanks!
TAKE A BOW! that was freaking amazing! You guys nailed it, I am so glad this popped up on my feed, totally blow away by your musicianship, all four of you. Bravo!
Happy New Year!
You all are truly amazingly talented. Zep would be proud, I'm sure. Fantastic performance!!! ✌🎶💕
‘S wonderful! New ZEP!! From Japan with love
Love it. Supurb. Walters Walk knocked me off my chair.
Thanks! Little Easter egg
wunderbare Aufnahme...voll ausgearbeitet
There should be a "like" button for FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!
George, its Mike (bass player from New Orleans).
All 4 of you guys - Exceptional!!!
That was great
Thanks Mike!!
So nice, I had to watch it twice! Thanks guys for this epic labor of love! From the playing, to the editing, just fantastic. Ivan, stunningly good! Can't wait for the tour dates!
Thanks! one day...
I'm speechless....That was phenomenal. Done with verve, passion and the energy of the original. Masterful, and with your own essence fuzed into it! Took me back to my youth when I first heard this.
Thanks very much! Glad it took you places!
Thank you for your GREAT PERFORMANCE❗😍
If possible plz my ZEP cover too👍😊
awesome job. thanks a lot.
Thanks!
This is the greatest cover I’ve ever seen other than Heart playing Stairway. You guys rocked the fuck out!
Thanks very much!
Mind Blown! Thank You!
Thanks!
As alwaysAMAZING 👍. Hey have you guys checked out Earls Court because in Dazed on the 24th or 23rd Jones does the bass riff another one bites the dust that Queen did 5 years later. Also while I'm on it back in the 70s I heard deep purple blackmore say that riff SOTW CAME FROM PAGE came from a rock mag
Thanks very much! Zeppelin knew how to write a riff!
just fantastic! Love the incorporation of different elements from different tours...Walter would certainly be appreciate for the nod! Outstanding across the board, Gentlemen!
Thanks!
I have a question about the drums in the opening (before the guitar comes in). Are you silencing the snare's drum head and doing something to the wires underneath or are they just vibrating with the kick drum? I hear the same snare effect in Bonham's '73 and also Mr. Jimmy's band includes it. Maybe the wires are slightly loosened during that section? Thank you for reading.
They just vibrate naturally, I didn't do any alteration to them.
Can't wait
Awesome!
@@PeoplesFrontofZeppelin As always, it exceeded my expectations. Great stuff
@@dogenestris thanks!
Wow.
My dudes, you honor Led Zeppelin.
Well done
So, so complicated is this song, and you illustrate it when you play, but you guys make it look effortless...and we know it's not.
BRILLIANT!
Thank you very much!
Freakin’ amazing! Wow!
Thanks!
You guys need to tour !
that funky breakdown was awesome. i love u guys putting individual flavor in and not just robotically playing it note for note
Thanks! Yeah, we like to honor the spirit of Zeppelin as best we can.
Robotically playing it note for note would be very un-Zeppelin.
Guys, as a lifelong guitarist/singer/perfectionist, I am damned proud of you guys, because that was one helluva performance to pull off, and you sure did it right. All of you......all of your parts, the intensity.......and THE ANGST........YOU NAILED IT. BRAVO!!! ( Remember what Dwight Yoakum said in that scene in the movie: Sling Blade: "WE DON'T NEED TO PRACTICE RANDY".......LOL!!! )
Thanks so much!
Thanks very much!
Thank you Howa!! 🙏
You guys should go on tour.
As usual, killed it. With the "Theme from 'Shatf'" à la late November-early December 1971, even. Went deep for that one!
Yessir!! 😁👍🏻
holy fucking shit this is incredibly good
Thanks!
What an absolute experience you guys! This is as close as you could possibly get to the real thing! Completely blown away by the work, effort and probably a huge amount of sweat this took to get together. I salute with both of my hands...
The little throw-in of Hendrix, or much rather Band of Gypsis' Machine Gun put a smile on my face :)
I love what you guys do, and you obviously love to do it!
Keep it coming and don't let the rock stop rollin' !
Cheers
Thanks very much!
This is absolutely fantastic...I'm gona listen and watch this again great job guys and well filmed.✌👍
Thanks very much!
Not an easy song to replicate especially the essence but i say great job zeppelin for ever
Thanks!
Amazing 👏👏👏👏👍
Thanks!
Bing bang boom!!! Great job Boys! Loved it!!
Thank you
Thanks very much!
Electrizante...!!!
Saludos desde Mexico..
🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽👏👏👏👏👍😁
¡Muchas gracias!
phenomenal 👌
Everyone Did a Impressive Job !!!!
Thanks!
Yes please!
‘73 live framework. Fantastic rhythm section. Like fucking flawless. Like how the guitarist weaves in and out from the original to his own tasteful take. That first solo gave me some feelings of Rush’s working man, which of course is fantastic too. Wanna play this on repeat 25…25…25 hours a day!
I’d just like to say that this is one of, if not the best rendition of this classic song I’ve ever seen. You stay true to the original but still manage to add a bit of your own flavor. Masterfully done.
What type of amp and pedals are you using for the guitar throughout the song? Such amazing tone!!!!
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks! I’ll find out
Hey, so it's a early 60's Vox AC30. Only pedal is a germanium treble booster, think Rangemaster.
@@PeoplesFrontofZeppelin thanks!
@@PeoplesFrontofZeppelinfollowing my comment from a year ago can you share what type of pickups were used in Ivan’s Les Paul?
I find myself periodically coming back to this video to enjoy this amazing cover 🙏🙏🙏
Holy hell, boys. Impressive as a word, does not have the power needed to convey what you have done here. Bravo.
excellent!
This is a monumental effort. No other way to put it. Doing this remote and being this tight is just jaw dropping. Time changes all over the place in this version. I've been following George Fludas for a while and man if there's anyone who can pull this off he can. No disrespect to the other players but man George can just drive a hole in a Zepp song in all the right ways. I applaud you all!
Wow incredible! The sound has a feel of the Dazed and Confused from the HTWWW live album. George's playing style and drum sound sound just like it. And the guitar tone sounds like the HTWWW as well. Excellent....it sounds great and very cool!
Thanks!!
First time listened stoned, watching the sunset. Gonna listen again...
Atta boy
This was seriously badass!
🙏🏼
Thanks!
This is badass.... Thanks for keeping the Zeppelin torch alive… 🔥🔥🔥
Led Zep's live version in a studio setting. Great capture! And nice touch of the violin bow making that Theremin sound! Great creation! Thanks for posting!
Dang! Now THAT was good Zeppelin coverin'!! Bravo! Man,I watch all kinds of Zep reaction vids, history docs, etc, but only NOW u guys are fed into my algo?? LOL, hell, I'll take it better later than never! Can't wait to see and HEAR some more! ROAR! Instant subscribe!
Thanks very much! We need to post more to get the algos going
@@PeoplesFrontofZeppelin Yup, they like that , those algos, heh. I'll do my part by coming and leaving thumbs up and blabbing a bit here and there! Cheers!
My God you guys capture that song remains the same feel so dam good!!! I wish I could see close ups of those page riffs and solos. I've been wanting to learn some of that for years and you play it so good!
Thanks! We’ll be putting guitar cam up on the website soon.
Fan-Flippn-tasic! Way to capture the live version. The improvs are awesome. Close your eyes and we are all back at Madison Square Garden. Well done boys!
Thank you!
I didn't realize I needed my face to be melted off until just now. The stuff you all just did after the bow solo did the trick.
Haha! Thanks Jeff!!
Holy moly! The last bit of San Francisco was incredible.
Overall.... Mind blowing!
Machine gun. 😁
Thanks!
