PFoZ is an international internet based Led Zeppelin tribute band. We record and film our own versions of Led Zeppelin songs and post them to UA-cam for entertainment and educational purposes. Special guests include Professor Obs-Tweedle, keyboardists, the occasional rock star, and of course Nola and Zuzu.
We are:
Ivan Jakic - Guitar
George Fludas - Drums
Pete Etxenike - Bass
Not to be confused with The Zeppelin People's Front.
Thanks to Mr Jimmy and Joey Skoch for playing with us! Headphones are great with this one, especially in the outro!
People’s Front of Zeppelin I agree, particularly loved that outro. Makes it more like a live version with everyone stretching out a bit! Yes!!
Mr.Jimmy is out of this world. No one has ever come close to doing Jimmy like this guy. His dedication is second to none. Thxs for posting this! ✌️❤️🎸🇨🇦
You guys sound awesome! I have always loved Carouselambra, and never understood why so many other Zep fans dis this epic song. Thanks for covering it. I was wondering why your guest keyboardist Joey chose to change the outro of the song? Everyone else stayed true to the original, to be truthful I did not care too much for the spacey synth at the end. If he would of stayed true to the original (I’m sure he’s perfectly capable of it) this song would have been perfect. I have a couple of requests that I’d like to see you guys perform, Thank You, How Many More Times, Trampled Underfoot, In The Light. Take your pick. You would have to get a guest keyboardist again I really liked Joey in this video and think he’s a good addition.
John Benard we wanted to do more than just replicate it, so we asked him to do a solo. We also extended the outro groove and hit it harder than on the original. Bassline wasn’t a duplication of the original line, btw, just in the style of. We did TU awhile ago, might remix it. Thanks for listening!
Great job by all. I thought that guitarist looked familiar, he’s from “LED Zepagain”. He’s a great Page guitar player.
what's so cool about seeing jimmy sakurai play on this is that it's almost like watching jimmy page record something in studio lol
i’m not sure jimmy would’ve had this much energy when doing the through the outdoor sessions lol
@@lucabuchignani1141 that's true lol sure makes me wonder what a normal led zeppelin studio session would look like though
He's got the same mannerisms for sure.
@Analog Man Honestly I love this album, I've got it on vinyl and I think while this song isn't their best it's got some good stuff on it. And I mean jimmy sakurai is about the closest thing I've seen to jimmy page but if you have anyone better let me know
@Analog Man that's fair, there are better songs they could have done but I think they've already used up a lot of zep's catalog. I've only been a zep fan for a year or so now and only really have live concerts and recordings to go off of
Mr Jimmy is totally awesome
This might be the greatest cover on UA-cam.
Wow, thanks! Glad you like it!
One of my favorite Zep songs. Some people thought it was too long. They were mistaken. I could listen to this forever. Probably will.
Name?
couldn't agree more... love this song!
I like it a lot, but I’d love it if someone could remove the synths
Probably will lol
Best song on the album by a light year.
This illustrates what a talent John Paul Jones is. An invaluable part of a amazing quartet.
That bass line - in-fucking-credible!
That album wouldnt have happened at all without JPJ; he wrote most of the music on it, as Jimmy was supposedly pre-occupied with other affairs so to speak. This tune being a prime example, I think he basically wrote the whole tune.
@@DSG-br5lk I had read that JPJ and Robert were at the studio early and the other two late or not at all.
Yes keeping in mind that he performed both the bass and keyboard parts on so many incredible songs
A Classic Statement - That's why after John Bonham Died, They KNEW They Couldn't Go On with 75% of the Band. Jimmy Page Himself at the time in a later Interview said it, "We could've have gotten another drummer, Could've gotten the Best Drummers in the World to Audition, But We Could and WOULD Never Replace His Spirit and Emotion. As Soon as I Heard He Was Gone, I Instantly also knew - Led Zeppelin was Gone". John Paul Jones Said The Same, "How can you go on with Only 75% of Your Soul".
Give that drummer a break, he killed it! Nice job.
JP Jones`s bass lines was killer.
CaminoCarpet highly overlooked monster line. He killed the bass on ITTOD in general
@@PeoplesFrontofZeppelin well it was his album...
konstantinov sure, but people tend equate that with the heavy keyboards on ITTOD.
He Always Did - Man Has No Peer - IMO.
Kevin Stailey not gonna argue!
Brilliant performance by all. And may I just say: JOHN. PAUL. JONES. !!!
Hearing this without the vocals made me realize 2 things. Carouselambra could just as easily have been a Rush song and also, how friggin' talented is John Paul Jones? In Through The Outdoor was his record.
Honestly, I just realized that it's the vocals that ruined this song for me. This instrumental version was fantastic. There's so much going on musically that you don't realize with Plant wailing away.
@@flyinpigmusic331 I can see that. Zeppelin is my favorite band of all time and I love Plant as a singer but yeah, I can see what you're saying. This is badass as an instrumental.
It could be right off A Farewell To Kings.
Would be interesting to hear Rush cover this.
It's not necessarily Plant's vocal lines that hold the song back but that weird effect on his vocals (sounds almost flangery and with odd eq'd very trebly) and the way his vocals are placed in the mix.
Have to say drummer did a great job playing like Bonham.
Thank you
Not to mention the tuning of the kit ... perfect sound
So satisfying to see George perform on point.
I wanted more of
George’s cameras.
Not to mention that the guitarist even looks like Page. 🙂
Few approach the Bonham sound, style and feel. George Fludas is the number one drummer of the very few.
Omg when he does the duck face just like jimmy would do hes the spitting image of him!
I agree, the resemblance and even his expressions are uncanny and a little spooky...In a cool mystical way. Maybe he actually is Page's love child...?
@@polara01 just maybe!! I wish we knew for sure lolol
Most likely; I would just LOVE to know myself, too!
@@polara01 There is a video where Jimmy Page goes to see Jimmy Sakura's Led Zeppelin tribute band in Tokyo. He said he wasn't nervous playing at all, forgot that Page was watching them play for two hours.
You've done justice to one of of the 70s' most underrated compositions. Wonderful!
Album recorded in '79 released in '80 if I'm not mistaken?
@@danmal-fx5gw You could be correct. I'm just going from memory. I got it when it first came out in my area.
ive been telling people this song is truly amazing since i first heard it when i was 16 (im 31 now) and to this day i dont think anybody ive ever shown it to has liked it. people are crazy
@@StoneDeceiver plenty of people love this song.
@@toddinthemiddle more than plenty don't
I actually thought Jimmy Sakurai was Jimmy Page for a second. Awesome work!!
Jimmy S you are the boss when it come to doing Page!
Best Page interpreter of All Time hands down!!!!
Thank you for all this great work!
✌️🎸❤️🇨🇦
For my money this is the best song on ITTOD, and really one of the best Zeppelin songs period. Good job on the cover gentlemen.
TumblingDice thanks, and yes, we agree re: Carouselambra!
Yeah, this and In the Evening, only two songs I can stomach on this album. Sometimes South Bound Suarez.
Im gonna crawl is excellent too. Took me a long time to realise, and its a great closer. @mikek8553
@@brianorakpohit Yep. It's the other gem on this record.
perfekne zahrana skladba od led zeppelin, jimmy sarai je ozaj skveli hrac, ktory ma rad a hraje veci od tejto svetovej super legendarnej kapeli.
Damn bass player is funky as hell.
Thanks very much!
Pulling off John Bonham is no easy task. Drummer here is insanely good. He is the best ive ever heard doing a zep cover.
Please do more covers with Mr. Jimmy!!! This was INSANE, mainly the attention to detail to get so close to the actual record. This was awesome!!
DonSolo328 thanks! Usually we do more to make it sound live but this one we had to wait until the outro.
One day there will be a tribute band to Jimmy Sakurai covering Led Zeppelin.
Jimmy S. was also in a band in Japan..
Tribute to The Firm.
The only videos I’ve seen were a mashup of different songs from a concert, no full concert or any full songs.
ua-cam.com/video/TAaS0Gx8ygM/v-deo.html
ZEP.のケラウズランブラを急に聞きたくなって、この動画に行きつきました。ZEP.の演奏と勘違いしてしまいますね。素晴らしいです。
An incredible Jimmy impersonator and George from Bonhamology? Perfect combo!
I think Jimmy is morphing into Jimmy. Awesome performance guys.
Mr. Jimmy is incredible. He has dedicated himself heart and soul to capturing the sound of Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) and he deserves every bit of respect for it. He's played with Jason Bonham and is endorsed by the man himself, Jimmy Page:
ua-cam.com/video/qF3Ds0RK5TA/v-deo.html
....I couldn’t think of another drummer to handle the drum duties for this gargantuan opus. George NAILS it when it comes copping on Bonham’s feel and swing. Everyone pay attention now...!
I really love seeing Jimmy Sakurai become more popular. My mom and I saw him a few times when he wasn't as popular and I even played with him once.
Amazing musicians! That drummer kicks ass. Everyone in this band ROCKS.
Eric Domeyer thanks!
@@PeoplesFrontofZeppelin i am speachless to see what Led Zeppelin was doing in the studio. Its like looking in a time machine
Eric Domeyer thanks so much! Tell your friends!
@@PeoplesFrontofZeppelin i will do that
Sakurai captures perfectly Page's musical essence....
That’s his thing for sure
well, that was sick
thanks!
Fantastic playing by everyone! The outro was interesting in that one can imagine how Zep would have expanded the jam live which was in the works for the US tour in 1980. Everyone got the tone right for their parts, that keyboard synth is so 1978 but sounds cool. As I've stated before on George's channel, it takes an accomplished jazz drummer to get Bonham right. So many guys are flailing away trying to get his power but it's all in the wrists and having finesse and taste. George gets it because he's got it.
Douglas Wells George does kill it! Thanks for your comments!
Have Mr.Jimmy's rare book and dvd. He is the absolute best tribute to JPP!
I bet George played this whole thing from memory. Freak.
Haha, I'm not that freaky!! I played along with the album version, then extended the end. But I think I can play it from memory with some homework! 😄
@@BONHAMOLOGY Haha well either way, I do hope this opens the door for you to connect with Jason and have an 'all things Bonzo' meetup session with you, Jason and Terry. I would seriously pay money for that!
Loved this song since it came out way back when, it shows what a beast JPJ was on keys and bass. Still have no idea how to pronounce the song title.
Also kudos to my man on the drums, holding it down tight!
Guys, you are all amazing - THANK YOU so much for giving your time and effort - for Zep fans, it means a lot -
Saw Mr Jimmy play live at Bethel Woods with JBLZ. Awesome performance and stage presence that touches your soul
Joe Cupano He’s great at what he does, no question! We are very grateful for his help!
Looks Jimmy circa 77-79. Absolutely fantastic retention. Well done.
Totally blown away...That was friggin fantastic. Put a smile on my face from ear to ear. Great job gentlemen.
Awesome! This Jimmy Sakura is something else tho isn’t he? Wow
I was in Vegas a few years back and just happened to see that a tribute band called Led ZepAgain was playing the one casino in North Vegas and decided to attend the Friday night show. It was during the short period when Sakurai was playing for them and I had to pick my jaw up off the floor, it was the best $5 I ever spent and a few minutes in a knew where I was going to be Saturday night also...spending another $5 to see him play again! Don't get me wrong, the rest of the band was good, but I'm a huge Page fan and Sakurai blew me away. I can understand why Page himself has gone to see Sakurai play!
Gregory Markle he’s more Jimmy than Jimmy!🔥
Greg Markle Saw him three years ago with Bonzo Jr in Montreal. I was stunned, amazed, pleased and so happy about the fact that it was the closest ever I would ever get to a Zep gig in my whole lifetime! They were both amazing, but Jason was just a little but too much with all his nostalgia triggers...
JS could beat anyone in a LZ air guitar competition, even me !!!
But in the real world. JS is the King!!!
Fucking Brilliant !!!!! So awesome to see this Epic played by these guys. Still sublime and thumping... Majestry at its finest !!!
Ted Arnold thanks so much!
I have a new found respect for this song now.
** great! Thanks for watching!
One of my absolute favorite guitar sounds of all time is that 12-string riff. It just sounds so clean and bright!
Love Jimmy Sakurai’s imitation of Page. He’s got the lip pout down and same guitar playing mannerisms. It’s also cool to see this very underplayed song. I doubt there is any footage of Zeppelin playing this, if they ever played it live at all.
Thanks! They never played it live, but it was supposedly considered for the 80 US tour that never came to pass.
BONHAMOLOGY I have heard really poor quality rehearsal tapes of this song, it would have been incredible live. This version is excellent, it grooves.
These guys are great! Good to see you again Mr. Jimmy!
This is one of so many of Zep songs that just puts them at the top of the stratosphere. It's like 3 different songs in one ,and this Jimmy guy has Page down that from a small distance you couldn't tell the difference.
Underrated song!
Mr Jimmy has the mannerisms, right down to the way Page holds his mouth 🤣
And he’s a helluva great player.
Absolutely outrageous. I certainly didn’t think I would get to see that, and that it would be so good. I’d love to do the vocals. It’s where Zeppelin were heading, loved the ending. 🌞
Robert Andrew Hale thanks very much!
Looking forward to this lads Can't wait👍👍👍Mr Jimmy😁
That was a fun one!
PfoZ and LZ laying down the funkiest prog rock ever. This might have been what Zep sounded like after this album. 100% awesome.
This song is a huge reason why JPJ is on my Mount Rushmore of classic rock bassists. The guy is a legend. Outstanding keyboard player too.
Jonesy brings it for sure on Carouselambra. Thanks for watching!
Amazing guys, I absolutely love this. Never going to be a better cover than this!
Thanks !!
Amazing job guys... George you played with the passion of BONZO.
Thanks so much!
Bassist is on top of his game
Love it!
I’m blown away!!!!
I have never realized how wonderfull is the bass line in this song. And Jimmy is awesome!
Leandro Aquino glad you have a new appreciation for JPJs bass line! Thanks for watching!
Four platinum players here people! These guys have lived up very highly to the original and imo surpassed it during the outro. Thank you so much. Once again pfoz have given me the warm fuzzies. peace love and harmony
Thanks so much!
Four?
Absolutely blown away. Thank you for sharing.
I love this song.
This elicits that GIF of Will Smith fainting * My mind has exploded * I'm on the ground in aural shock * That outro just created a new galaxy in the outer rims of our universe that will help bridge our understanding of the quantum realm in 10 - 15 years * June 21st just became known for something other than the anniversary of "Listen To This Eddie" *
Ha, we definitely took it out there!
This really means something coming from you, KILB!
I love it
Incredible attention to detail, kudos, brilliant!!!!!❤️🎼🎸
One of my all-time favorite zeppelin songs, nicely done
Love this song!
Phenomenal!!!
My tenth time watching. Master class indeed!!!
Mind blowing to watch this. The mind wanders into Polar Studios and imagines..................
🙏🏼👍🏼
Same here
The bass player is killing it and we don't even get to see his face :(
Everything else about this cover is flawless though
You can see the base players face in this band doing this song ua-cam.com/video/NECfRohWNWw/v-deo.html
Amazing!
Awesome guys just Awesome.....!!
You know when George is on the drums, everything is gonna be alright. Hats off for that drumming!(and the drum sound!).
A Japanese Page clone. 2020 is turning out to be a portal into the Twilight Zone.
fukin eh. too good
I was thinking the same thing. He even has the movements down. All he needs is the cigarette in his mouth.
Aso.
Jimmy circa 1973.
jajajajajaja
Well that just made my 4th of July morning, talented people are just awesome
Excellent! What a masterpiece!
most outstanding on this was the guitar tone. sounds just like jimmy. usually i hate “interpreters” but this guy is actually rly cool, great job getting him
Beautiful and awesome. This song resonates far into the galaxy 👍🏻
Thanks!
MASTERFUL..
Bravo!!!! Its like being there!
Only PFoZ can get 42 thumbs up and hour before it even previews! The best...tick tick tick (;
Nick-O thanks, hope you like it! Headphones for sure on this one!
Damn good! Thanks for letting me enjoy that, you made my day!
Morgan Smith thanks for watching!

Excellently done!!!!
It was friggen awesome !!!! Fantastic job guy's... Well worth the wait ~
Thank you!!!
Anxiously awaiting!
Many thanks to Jimmy for his effort! We hope he liked it!
Great work, guys... stellar work
Great cover amazes me 🎉🎉
Bravo! I thought Page dyed his hair at first. Spot on jam. My favorite Zep tune.
Surfs Up thanks!
The guitarist is nearly a dead ringer for Page, but he just doesn’t quite look Asian enough.
That came later though , he's quite close to a 1979 version Page
@@peterdavies4623 Hahaha, indeed.
Fantastic!!
Wow guys!! Great job 👏👍👌
Dude looks a lot like page. Great job as always.
System 3 that’s his thing alright. He is detail oriented like nobody else
😂 That's brilliant, for a minute I thought it was actually page. He does all the facial expressions aswell. Good job.. I enjoyed listening👍
Great job! Hello Jimmy, hope all is well!
Bruce Buckeye hey Bruce, been awhile since BZPC! Hope all is well!
@@PeoplesFrontofZeppelin The FBO email group is still going strong, let me know if you want to join us! Stay well! Bruce
Gentlemen, that was CRAZY AWESOME! Wow!
Masterful....what a pleasure to see how it comes together
Top notch collaboration...maybe the future of your awesome tribute band!!
EJC probably just a one off but he did a great job
Tried and failed miserably to play the drums for this one when I was a teenager. An absolute pleasure watching all of you guys work, although I see twelve thumbs downs from foes that threatened from the deep. Splitters.
QuarrellaDeVil thanks! We will post drum cam soon!
Good job yall! So gooooood!!
This entire piece is MASTERFUL !!!
