Well it's so empty. I remember when 3 years back metre gauge services stopped in my district for the track conversion- entire town gathered up to wish it goodbye. Oldies shared stories from their times. Kids were ecstatic! Media also covered it even some national media. Three years down: Broad Gauge services have just started in my district a week back. So we've come full circle.

Brings back memories of my childhood in India. I grew up in steam era, saw the diesel locomotives and eventually electric. If this was a video about the last steam locomotive + meter gauge, I would have tears for sure. Thanks you from my heart for creating a masterpiece and posting it so we can enjoy and “re-live” the past. The video, even though is about the last meter gauge, it also brings back memories of the good old non- industrialized India.
Same... Bareilly to Budaun to Kasganj last meter guage train Departed on feb 2014 ..my childhood memories are also related with it ,,now this has track converted into broad guage and electrification is under construction..

Lovely video. I am son of a railway employee and visits to locoshed in Guntakal and Hubli were frequent. Alas! All the stunning beauties - the oiled and steaming steam engines whose parts were brightly painted and all brass knobs shone in the light of the furnace. All have relegated to memories only.
I have done this route when I went with my parents and grandparents to Omkareshwar. That was my first MG experience. Really feel sad that it is coming to an end. But BG is coming. I remember the beautiful waterfalls u can see from the train here after. Such a lovely route.
You made this last train journey very memorable, when you would have started this train in sanawada, what a wonderful sight it will be. Change always happens but only after uprooting the old. I appreciate your effort.
I had travel in this route when I was 10year old...That was the one of the best route between Khandwa to Omkareshwar road via Mahu...That scenery between these route are too muchh good... Missing those days...Har Har Mahadev

Lovely video. I am son of a railway employee and visits to locoshed in Guntakal and Hubli were frequent. Alas! All the stunning beauties - the oiled and steaming steam engines whose parts were brightly painted and all brass knobs shone in the light of the furnace. All have relegated to memories only.
I have done this route when I went with my parents and grandparents to Omkareshwar. That was my first MG experience. Really feel sad that it is coming to an end. But BG is coming. I remember the beautiful waterfalls u can see from the train here after. Such a lovely route.

I had travel in this route when I was 10year old...That was the one of the best route between Khandwa to Omkareshwar road via Mahu...That scenery between these route are too muchh good... Missing those days...Har Har Mahadev
