I have plenty of memories with many Meter gauge sections specially Ahmedabad - Udaipur Section, now the meter gauge routes are disappearing from the network of Indian railways but they're neatly preserved in my heart in the form of memories & these are immortal memories😍

There should be Railway museums (other than Delhi) in different parts of India and these type of Trains can be used for Joy Rides.

Wish Indian Railways is listening to us and they could make this as a heritage line. That way we can preserve the YDM engines and the coaches. I love their engine sound. The chugging.
I am sure they can overall these engines so to improve their mileage and hence reduce the maintenance cost.

Narrow guage and metre guage is now history in many places in West Bengal I used to visit from Burdwan to Bologna a small village with a amazing narrow guage train but sad fully it was replaced by broad guage...by watching your video it full fill my childhood memories metre guage and narrowguage was a kind of excitment
I have travelled in meter gauge when I was nine ...in Utar pradest Bareilly and Agra route of meter gauge....now the route is changed with the latest rail tracks ....but I loved that slow speed ....it was really a good experience at that age...

This route used to go up till jodhpur and we used to travel to jodhpur using this route where trains used to take long halts at marwar junction before proceeding to Jodhpur. That must be around 25 years back

Sandeep bhai according to reports is route pr ek vistadom coach chalane ka bhi plan h aur jb yaha pe broadgauge conversion ho jayega tb kamlighat se phulad tak ki meter gauge ko band nahi kiya jayega aur uspr vintage train chalayi jayegi.
Feeling nostalgia I used to play around these coaches all these coaches belonged to Bikaner
