Excellent video John, thank you and well done. It brought back happy memories from my hike along the St. Cuthbert’s Way, including some parts that I’d forgotten about or had not realised were so beautiful and enjoyable (but that might have been something to do with the torrential rain when I just had my head down). Superb drone footage too. Thank you for the shout out, it put a huge smile on mine and Grace’s faces when we heard you describing walking over the sand with us on the final leg. Btw Grace wasn’t being camera shy in the photo, she was just trying to stop her hair from blowing in her face 😂. It really is an excellent walk and I’ll probably end up doing it again someday. Maybe we’ll bump into each other again one day on another hike, trail or camp. I hope so. You’re a top man and great film maker. Thanks again, Albert.
Thanks for the kind words Albert, and it was lovely spending that time with you and Grace. If I hadn't have rolled my glasses up still in the tent that morning and broke them then I would have noticed Grace's hand and took another 😂
Well I’m back, I finished the walk in three days but it was a miserable slog for most of it. Probably the wettest hike I’ve done as it was relentless. I’m so glad I did it, though most of the views were shrouded in clag, it’s a beautiful route isn’t it? I met some lovely people along the way, one lady came up with her dog and said hello on holy island as I made a coffee on the stove, 5 minutes later she came back with marmalade on toast! She said I looked like I needed it. That was a first!
@@stushikesandrides was thinking of you at work this weekend when the weather was rough. Really pleased you got it done and like all adventures we can't book the weather. Another one ticked off and on to the next. Did you vlog? Looking forward to it if you did 😀
@@jtoutdoors9888 I did some filming despite the weather and hopefully I might be able to thread them together into one that’s worth watching 😂 Thanks for thinking of a fellow hiker, you’re a good man 👍
Hello! Nice video! by any chance did you do this at the beginning of August last year? And was it you I bumped into in the morning as I was leaving the cave and you were coming in? Lol
Excellent video. Walked it last year and remembered almost every scene. NIce work.
