Thank you so much for taking time to write and let me know this! It is so great to know they are helpful 😊 Always looking for ideas, so let me know any requests. If i know how to do it, I will :)
@@createdbymaureen Hey, a question (and maybe you answer this in a video): often I can't make the duration of an action as short as I'd like. For instance, I just added Lenka, and want her to walk in from the side. I add a walking animation, and want her to walk just three steps. But I can't drag the box to the right of the animation any further to limit the number of steps; it's like she's insisting on walking 8 steps! How do you customize and shorten an animation like "walking"?
@JesseThorstad-personal you can with general 3D characters. But I haven’t found consistency with 360 characters. And can’t cut them shorter. Some can be dragged and cropped, though it speeds up action vs removes excess. And sometimes find I can’t. It has been a little challenging because don’t always need that duration. Hoping this will be changed in future though. wIth other 3D characters disabling beg and end also shortens duration. But not with 360 characters :(
Thank you soooooo much!! I was trying to get this to work for a Christmas card, now I see I was in the wrong place for rotating the character. Can’t wait to try it again.
This is so exciting to hear!! Thank you for taking time to let me know! I have a Part 2 ready to record. And hoping I can get that done to post tomorrow 😃
Thanks for another excellent video. Each tidbit of information helps to complete the entire puzzle. I really appreciate even you make mistakes and comes to new realizations during your videos as well. I think you would be a wonderful voice-over artist for children's books. 😁💯👍
Thanks 😊 And yes, I make so many mistakes! UNDO is probably going to get worn out on my keyboard 😂 I’m fine with showing my mistakes - and I’d also never finish a tutorial if I did 😂
Maureen Thanks this is great. Your explanation is easy to follow you speak at a good speed to follow. Also how will I see the keyframes When do they appear. .
@@kidsplaymusic thanks! Glad to hear. if you’ve added the animation, the keyframes are on the element on timeline. But can be small. Depending on how you have the view set. I have tutorial for that. I’ll see if I can find.
I desperately need someone to explain key frames, I’m going around and around in circles and getting nowhere. I’m creating dozens of key frames and the character is all over the place. Can anyone help by pointing me in the right direction to watch a video only on key frames????
@@joramlee i haven’t done a tutorial just on keyframes, I don’t think. Just in context of using them to walk or animate backgrounds or elements. My guess (could be wrong…) but it may be not setting the start and end? Be sure your character is where you want it to begin on he first keyframe. Then don’t move it until you select your second keyframe. Select second keyframe THEN move character to position you want. Otherwise it will set first keyframe where you move the character to.
@@joramlee i’m sorry. Maybe try one of the more simple/one-step tutorials on walking? This one is using multiple animations on a keyframe. If you watch an earlier one it will show just one animation per keyframe. Which may help clarify, I hope
Your tutorials are the BEST. Thank you for your work. I understand CS3 a little more with each video. I appreciate it!
