You go too fast and you don’t explain what it is you are doing, you just click click click. You need to explain what every action does. I have had to watch this video 10 times and I’m figuring things out by trial and error. Slow down fella
Thank you for this video. It would definitely help if the concepts were explained as opposed to just going through the steps. For instance, "disable start, disable end, linear, easing, in and out". What do these things mean?
One of the challenges with this sort of animation is selling the timing of character animation with the movement across the screen such that it doesn’t look like a ‘moon walk’. The tools should help with this but they don’t.
I'm having the worst trouble with the key frames. They disappear after I put in the first walking animation and do not show up on idle! What am I doing wrong???
This is absolute rubbish. I have sat here everything you have done to the letter and it just does not work. Tom starts to slide in and out then rotates to straight, then he slides all the way out back of screen. Then at the end my scene goes black. I have tried this many times deleting and starting again. It does not do what you are saying in this video. I have now tried this 8 times with no luck. Looks like I will be asking for a refund tomorrow. Sorry, but it just does not work.
Please, contact our support team. We will help you to make this work :) Here: support.createstudio.com/ or via FB messenger: facebook.com/CreateStudioOfficial
I found the initial problem was getting to grips with Actions and Animations. This gives us, on the same Element in the Timeline, Action Marks and for the Animations, Keyframes. The term Animations, in my opinion, should be changed to KeyFrames. First, get used to Keyraming. Create a simple plain background, then add a simple shape. Click add Animations (KeyFrames) and start playing around with the options. When you get the idea of KeyFrames, you can start thinking about using them with Actions. You see, in CreateStudio, "Actions" refer to pre-built animations or movements that you can apply to characters or objects within your projects. So, now you have a moving animation that you can adjust with keyframes.... so simple face-orange-raised-eyebrow I've most likely made the problem a whole lot worse!
I want to make a walking character but, the background moves. Can create studio make that tutorial? Like a character walking down a hall that has different things pass in the background. Do I just change the scene while the character is walking?
Are there animals in the program? I want to make a cartoon about animal characters and I want to create different animals. Is it available to make animals or animal characters? There is no video if there are animal characters. I am creating cartoon content about animal characters. I want something like this.
Hi, I just downloaded Create Studio today. I'm trying to make walking animation but it seems the interfacr is a little bit different. I would love to an updated tutorial! thanks :)
Hi, please contact us here: support.createstudio.com/ or via FB messenger: facebook.com/CreateStudioOfficial We will check this out, the tutorial is showing the latest version of CS...
This is a nice video. The new interface is slightly different from when you recorded it. When I try to move the character, the background moves with it. What could be the problem?
But if we want to have him walk from the left to the right, how to do that? If I just flip character the logo on the shirt will be fliped as well so that’s not a solution. If I rotate a character after he come to the end point he will turn back not to face me. Am I stupid?
There are two default positions for every Action. At the beginning, the character is looking at you and idle. After the Action, i.e., walking, has finished, the character returns to the same position as it started, looking forward to the idle. Apparently, this is meant to make the transitions between combinations of Actions blend together better. I hope that makes sense.
Confusing? 'Actions are NOT Animation's' u keep saying animations for actions, so as a newbie its perplexing, Actions is the behavior, Animations is the key framing ❤⁉️
Exactly! I left a comment yesterday about the same thing. Not enough detail about each step and inconsistent wordage. Funny thing, my comment is nowhere to be found on this thread. Was it deleted I wonder?
I know what you me! I think it's hard for someone that knows what they are doing , to understand the frustration of someone that doesn't. Like driving a car. I agree with your analogy completely. However, to correct the problem, get the right person for these tutorials or publish written guides with details to use hand-in-hand with the videos. I always assume my purchase price includes instruction to use the product I purchased. Now I'm combing the internet for other tutorials or guides that are more helpful.@@alfchurch733

1:56 - Why did you Disable the start? 2:04 - Why did you disable the end?
You are not explaining the technicalities like disable from start/end, postion, scaling, linear. What do these actions do or how do they work?

I have the same issue. Were you able to fix this?

Awesome! I've only had this a couple days, already completed my first animation and the potential for me is very exciting!
I'm doing something wrong. It looks as if she makes a little jump, looks backwards briefly and then goes out of the picture. 😅

This is a nice video. The new interface is slightly different from when you recorded it. When I try to move the character, the background moves with it. What could be the problem?
Here is how to lock your background: support.createstudio.com/article/764-how-to-lock-element

I get the same problem? Still try to find out the solution.
Are you using descript to create this one ?
Could I use this in my apple tablet if I purchase it?
Hi, CreateStudio app is a desktop app for computers with Mac or Windows systems only...
Can you add option to import animations from other softwares thru fbx?
Sorry, we don't support this type of files...
