I’m so glad! If there’s something you have in mind, a question of “how” or what to do, let me know! If I know how to do it, I’ll create a tutorial. Always looking for ideas 😊
Thank you. Jargon can make it extremely difficult for us to get answers. Often we don't even know what things are called. Usually I find that software makers are the worst at explaining their softwares, because they are so invested in the jargon, and do not want at any point to put things in common English. So you helped me to know how to make a change in scale not of an object but at a point in the timeline, using the little diamonds that indicate keyframe. I couldn't see them before. Yes some softwares share jargon across an industry, but that doesn't always help us. It can take a lot to frame a question in a way that google will spit out an answer that works, even when we have a piece of jargon. Also I find that searching a software company's tutorials is often fruitless, the organizaiton of info is not usually helpful, plus finding something when needed often unlikely. But I caught on the word keyframe and google got me your video. But what I was looking for was how to scale and how to find a point in the timeline or select it. It took me time to get this piece of jargon. And I'd been told in instructions, press S on the keyboard. But I wasn't finding it to work. At all. In the least. What already gave me a ton of stress along the way is that the tools in the video are on the right, I suppose being a year earlier it may have been another version.. Whenever I went to look for the tools they were eventually found on the left, or in one case under a hidden menu when I clicked a + sign, or another hidden menu when I clicked the CS icon. I would class these kind of experiences as Cybertrauma. It really is traumatic. I hope I never cause the kind of trauma I experience in many softwares, especially video editing ones, through any software/ apps I create. Having said that, I think CS is relatively good. I've been able to produce things that are resonably decent quality so I have to be grateful. I had a big plan for today but it's been so stressful I'll have to be content with just an intro. But I'm proud of myself as usual for having got through the ordeal to create something. In this case, CS gave me a good plan (a brand text fly-in). I think it's professional looking. I'm pleased that I have that ready, and sitting in my My Scenes for a whole series of videos. Plus the thing that I appreciate most about Create Studio, one of the main things, is that the file size is manageable. I was horrified some years ago when I started making videos for business on my cellphone and found them to be over a GB in size. There was no way I could find to resolve it. The video I did was absolutely useless because it could not in any way be removed from my phone that I could see. Things like that that are SO extremely basic just traumatize me a huge amount. Because underneath it creates a belief in me that humans are utterly self-serving with absolutely no interest in serving others, especially when their job is to serve. That is an awful belief, and an awful mindset!!!
@@SallyAnneLambert i’m so glad it was helpful! 😊 I learned how to animate with CS, and didn’t know anything else. So that probably helps. Definitely no expert 😊 Happy creating!
The keyframes. When i try to move them to the left side they won't go. That messes up me trying to Color certrain spoken words. Do you know a way to work around that? I guess it's only when there's a keyframe after it but it is still a bit frustrating when i try to adjust it to match the exact sound especially because there is no sound when moving the timepoint with mouse in the timeline like it does in adobe premiere
@@aphilzitrone not sure I completely understand. Sometimes if I want to lengthen or move, it can’t overlap another keyframe. So if one is abutting it, won’t move. You can overlap keyframes with grouping. But can’t do it on a single element. Not sure if that answered your question, hope helped a little :) if not, support is amazing and you can check with them. They’re quick, too!
More of this please, the UI is really messing with me but with your guide it becomes easy :)
