I actually really like the aesthetic of these gpu's. It's so nice and clean. I hope Intel stays in the gpu market until at least their next iteration, I actually really want them to succeed!
*Definitely* am looking forward to the full benchmarks on this card! Judging by the hardware spec's, it seems like Intel's drivers are leaving a *LOT* of performance on the table. I wonder if you came back in 6 or 12 months and re-tested this same cards with the newest drivers at that time, if you'd get numbers more in line with the nVidia 3070.
I wonder how this will handle CAD workloads (solidworks, fusion 360, autocad, ect.). My radeon vii is working pretty well, but I'm interested in upgrades to my system, the GPU being a maybe.
Based on your comments about the wattage etc it would be amazing if they have some sort of driver epiphany and unlock more performance. Sounds like there are other hardware issues that might make that impossible though.
nice card! it is a first gen product. what do you expect. as long as it is affordable it is fine. i like the looks of the arc founders edition more than either amds or nvidias founders editions. if they are new to it maybe drivers improve and we get free performance in the future just like on amd cards. if xess doesnt work that well we can just use amds fsr.
We are witnessing history being made now, unfortunately I dont have plan to update for at least another year, but I am still really excited for this! As long as this card is stable enough for daily use, we can already call this a win, cant wait for the full review
They'd receive a lot of support if they make the drivers open source. Modders and the Linux community would love to tinker and fix a lot of bugs and bring Intel up to speed with the rest.
I'm excited for Intel to get into the GPU game. I really hope they stick with it and don't give up! Gonna take some tweaking and retweaking, etc. But dang, these cards just look amazing and I'd love to see a completely white version in the future!
I cannot stress enough how important it is to have proper two-slot graphic cards. I really hope Intel will succeed and continue down this way. I don't need 3 to 4 slot gpu's for my build.
Aesthetics of the whole card aside, and when installed you won't notice it, but those different colors of plastic on the 6pin and 8pin are driving my inner monk crazy! I think you people at LMG will understand, considering the effort you're making with your products to NOT have such flaws.
Displayport specifies the bandwidth per lane because you may not always be using 4 lanes. If you're using a USB-C dock with dp alt mode, half the lanes may be used for regular USB leaving only 2 for DP. Or if you're using Thunderbolt you might have 8 lanes.
Im so excited about these things. Finally a legitimate second vendor for Linux users. And with how WINE and DXVK work now days the older DX preformance shouldn't be a problem.
The 16gb of vram at such a low price on the A770 seriously makes this a good contender compared to the 3060 / 3070 or even 4060 / 4070. It costs intel very little to add that extra vram, yet it means these gpus are better in a lot of ways compared to current gen nvidia gpus that are much more expensive (at least in UK). Ive really been considering getting the Intel nuc 12 enthusiast, because of the A770 GPU and 12th gen i7 with 32gb of RAM and 1tb samsung ssd costing only £1200 at the moment.
ARC is basically a modern graphics card that comes with every single modern feature, and I love it. The part that blew my mind is its ray tracing performance (50fps vs 60fps in control!). And that alone will be a convincing selling point besides av1. Not many think RT matters, but for those who look for realistic gaming experience on a budget, cheer up!
I gotta say the card looks absolutely sick. Understated refinement. The streaming angle is a punch to the gut for Nvidia that won't hurt now but later on....spicey.

I'm super excited about these. Especially after seeing that they're targeting the budget market, since AMD and especially NVIDIA have kinda' screwed over this generation. Now... I don't need anything in this price range but I think I might buy a couple just to mess around with. Plus, I dig the EVGA GTX 7xx/9xx ish look.
They aren't targeting the budget market. They failed so badly they have to sell the cards at below cost.
@@screwb1882 They absolutely are targeting the budget market, because yes... they have no other choice because they greatly missed their original launch window. If you think I'm implying benevolence, I'm certainly not.
@@TheGameBench they can't have their top of the line targeting the budget market....
@@jesusbarrera6916 I guess you missed their pricing. Seems they don't have much of a choice. Their top of the line will soon be pretty entry level compared to AMD and NVIDIA. Not to mention that they're not really usable on systems without re-bar support. Then we can get into all of the cheap used options you can get right now that don't need re-bar.
@@TheGameBench so like the guy said.... they are selling below cost
Pushing continued improvements for older apis is going to be very important for Intel
The physical aesthetics of these cards are clean.
The Design is absolutely amazing!
I just want that look but with a 7700XT or 7800XT when those comes out as it looks so much better than your typical gaudy 3rd party designs, it's just nice, simple, and clean with very tastefully done RGB.
Never thought I'd be stoked for more intel stuff in the PC market. I have the 3060, so I'm stoked to see them compete.
When you guys do your review testing, I would love to see a quality comparison with Intel Arc vs Intel quick sync Plex transcoding performance.
Really want to see how well these perform.
Quality of transcode as well as number of transcodes :)
I too would like to see that in the benchmarks, though it begs the question of whether Plex supports av1?
@@benwu7980 yes it dose.
I know their are some av1 encoding test from Intel and such like that. But ya know first party benchmarks
This please ❤🎉
Now, this is a true RGB competition!
It looks SOOO good, I hope it runs good for the price.
Honestly I'm thinking that this is gonna be pretty good, or at least interesting. $329 for about rtx 3060 performance, but possibly up to like 3070 with future driver updates makes it seem like a good investment. Also, the av1 encoder is incredibly cool and will be interesting to see what it can do
But with 3080 tis for $400 and 3090s if you’re lucky, is it worth it?
@@velqt lol where do you see a 3080 for 400$????
@@rpgfeatures793 on ebay lol
@@velqt wuuuuut
@@velqt That second hand lol, in Australia it's $1200-$1800, for a 3080
This has got to be a super good looking GPU, up there with the Founders 30 series
I'm super excited to see the AV1 encoding comparisons. I expect the best from you guys!
I actually really like the aesthetic of these gpu's. It's so nice and clean. I hope Intel stays in the gpu market until at least their next iteration, I actually really want them to succeed!
I really like that it seems to be just a 2 slot. Will be nice in some builds.
Card design looks clean and classy. I hope it performs well. I'm not going to consider them for a personal build until the C770
I forgot it's a short circuit for a moment and freaked out .....omg a single ad ?????????
I am so glad that we finally done with the days the good gpu cost over 1000$
I've been waiting for Intel Arc since 2017 :)
When Anthony does a performance review, do a side by side with Windows and Linux to see who works best :)
If only we could buy it! It is out of stock everywhere.
Personally I'm really excited to see what's coming. Great to see Intel doing descrete GPUs, also they look really nice.
I love that you grab your keys to short the switch to turn on the system.
*Definitely* am looking forward to the full benchmarks on this card! Judging by the hardware spec's, it seems like Intel's drivers are leaving a *LOT* of performance on the table. I wonder if you came back in 6 or 12 months and re-tested this same cards with the newest drivers at that time, if you'd get numbers more in line with the nVidia 3070.
very hype for these, i hope they release with no major issues
I think one of the most exciting things about the Arc gpus is the (relatively) slim form factor!
not really, 3080ti fe is similar in size but 1.5x-2x the perf.
Loving the new ShortCircuit background set, looking very nice with their logo and the Cyberpunk PC case.
The new Intel cards definitely LOOK the best out of all the GPUs currently. Its sexy.
that neon light is sick! Nvidia could include smth like this too for how much they are charging
I wonder how this will handle CAD workloads (solidworks, fusion 360, autocad, ect.). My radeon vii is working pretty well, but I'm interested in upgrades to my system, the GPU being a maybe.
I’m really hoping labs will make it so we can get ask this info in a table even if not used in video
Spotting that Nerd Forge cyberpunk PC in the background. Glad LTT decided to hold onto it.
Based on your comments about the wattage etc it would be amazing if they have some sort of driver epiphany and unlock more performance. Sounds like there are other hardware issues that might make that impossible though.
Yeah, getting old games running well is very important to me. I'm skeptical.. but we'll see.
nice card! it is a first gen product. what do you expect. as long as it is affordable it is fine. i like the looks of the arc founders edition more than either amds or nvidias founders editions. if they are new to it maybe drivers improve and we get free performance in the future just like on amd cards. if xess doesnt work that well we can just use amds fsr.
I really wanna see the AV1 encoder at work. I feel like even the 380 will be amazing for a streaming pc just for that encoder alone
calling it now, they're gonna have a nine series at some point
And you, young GPU. We will watch your career with great interest!
For real, thanks Intel for continuing to try despite failure after failure.
That's more than I can say for Google.
I love its subtle and sleek design aesthetic
We are witnessing history being made now, unfortunately I dont have plan to update for at least another year, but I am still really excited for this! As long as this card is stable enough for daily use, we can already call this a win, cant wait for the full review
I'm actually more excited for this card than I thought I would be. This could be a generation defining moment.
ua-cam.com/video/N371iMe_nfA/v-deo.html - still excited?
Okay, that beginning with throwing out the safety information was funny ha
One of these is going to look soooo good in a matte black build
Glad to have them on board now. 👏👏👏👏👏
i am glad you guys put the cyber punk computer in the background
Can we get some sick motivational tunes in the background this is astounding coming from intel, bravo! 🎉👏
They'd receive a lot of support if they make the drivers open source. Modders and the Linux community would love to tinker and fix a lot of bugs and bring Intel up to speed with the rest.
Oh man, that's one of the most beautiful pieces of hardware I've ever seen
I'm excited for Intel to get into the GPU game. I really hope they stick with it and don't give up! Gonna take some tweaking and retweaking, etc. But dang, these cards just look amazing and I'd love to see a completely white version in the future!
I cannot stress enough how important it is to have proper two-slot graphic cards.
I really hope Intel will succeed and continue down this way. I don't need 3 to 4 slot gpu's for my build.
It's a beautiful card. Looks like a really nice car. Those graphic drivers though, they still need a lot of work.
Video idea: DXVK (converts DirectX
Aesthetics of the whole card aside, and when installed you won't notice it, but those different colors of plastic on the 6pin and 8pin are driving my inner monk crazy!
I think you people at LMG will understand, considering the effort you're making with your products to NOT have such flaws.
Looks really great, an amazing looking reference card!
Displayport specifies the bandwidth per lane because you may not always be using 4 lanes. If you're using a USB-C dock with dp alt mode, half the lanes may be used for regular USB leaving only 2 for DP. Or if you're using Thunderbolt you might have 8 lanes.
Can't wait to see R G and B colour boxes on the retail shelf
Intel's first attemp at a dedicated GPU is amaizing! Now please buy them all so they don't quite from these negative reviewers.
Im so excited about these things. Finally a legitimate second vendor for Linux users. And with how WINE and DXVK work now days the older DX preformance shouldn't be a problem.
Those enconding specs look exactly like what i need!
That neon ARC logo looks slick I want one
I gotta say, these cards look really clean. I like how they look. I can't wait to see where they go with these cards!
I really want an A770 to go with my 6800 and 3070...but I wanted an AR more lol. Maybe battlemage will happen and I can go that route.
I'll be honest I'm planning on making a build in December, and the A770 is looking mighty attractive for it's price range.
I am pretty happy that Intel is getting involved, cpus and gpus, more competition can only be good for the industry and the consumer
I'm glad there's a new competitor, besides it's their first iteration, it can only get better from here.
Yes to the vibrant colors. Yes, Yes, YES. Keep it on this channel.
I'm excited for it. If I can walk into a store to buy one I'll definitely pick one up. If I have to fight online bots to get one I'll pass
Damn not even on the main channel, I still like to see the fact that we have a gpu from another manufacturer.
They really did though. That's one of the slickest looking GPUs I've ever seen.
New Lighting setup? Looks almost like new camera ale much better color grade. Either way big improvements 👌. Looks sick
I gotta say the card looks absolutely sick. Understated refinement. The streaming angle is a punch to the gut for Nvidia that won't hurt now but later on....spicey.
