It is a challenge to enter a LV store, definitely during these SARS-COVID times.
People are waiting in lines outside of the store.
I wanted to test the perfumes and when I pass the store, many different times, and I see the line I think hell no I'm waiting 1 hour plus to enter the store.

I just got it yesterday - since it's unisex (I'm a guy) and thank goodness I tried the sample first. It smells really great, but my issue is with the projection and the longevity. I love the initial burst of mandarin, but it kinda wears off a little too quickly (at least on me). I am going to return it for Afternoon Swim. I should have gone with my instinct, that's really the only summer scent they have that I LOVE, but I ordered California Dream since there is a lot of hype around it. Everyone's skin is different - it might work on ya'll but for me, I feel like I have to literally get near my arms to smell it, whereas, Afternoon Swim, I can smell it on myself all day.

The packaging is gorgeous 😍 I love anything ombré. Although I haven’t smelled this or any LV scents, I totally get your description of this being very mass market.
I have a mix of mainstream and niche in my collection and enjoy both, so I probably would’ve been in your split group if I’d known about it. Mine! (Although I keep my subscriptions private so you’ll have to trust me on that?)

165$ and proof of purchase already fill a hundred ml my son had discovered it in my collection and was applying it daily for well over a month even in the cold and hed put it back in its cylinder as if I'd not notice a hundred ml evaporating 🤨👨🔬🙏 but have since locked up my shelving unit and problem solved 😏

First impressions, categorization, personality and mood. That’s my answer. You don’t need to wear it at all, but for those reasons that’s why I would.
