Thanks for your fun review. I was in California (Los Angeles) in mid-May a few years ago. Evenings are cool and breezy (around 18 C), and you get gorgeous wafts of Jasmine. Because it grows everywhere. Honestly Elie Saab L'Eau Couture (pale mint green juice) captures it perfectly. I know it's discontinued, but it is fluffy Jasmine perfection! Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess is daytime L.A., strolling down Santa Monica Blvd. along the beach. Hope you and Mrs. P. travel to L.A. someday, especially Santa Monica. If you go to San Francisco in May/June, you will find riots of Bougainvillea everywhere, and icy wind (10-12 C) slapping your face. Perfect weather for No. 5 edp, or the heavy hitters, Coco or Allure. Take your coat, scarf, gloves, and enjoy it. The city is built on a grid, so every east to west road has a clear line of sight to the ocean, gorgeous! If you're going to New York, it begins to feel muggy in May. Better April for NYC.(skip the overpriced tourist trap boat tour of the Statue of Liberty. Staten Island ferry passes directly in front of it, and it's a better boat. Don't waste your time at the 911 memorial, better to see the museums.) I would love to visit the U.K. someday. I am in San Antonio, Texas, meh. The Alamo is cute. (Phil Collins is a big fan. And our dear David Bowie chose the name of a Texan.) April weather is better here too. The Last Saturday in April, there's a cute night parade with lots of pretty lights. (hope we have a vaccine by then) (What a long winded post! Blame it on covid isolation.) Be well.
I adore the shirt. Trying to bottle the smell of California, in my opinion, is a daunting task. In California you can spend the morning at the beach and be skiing in the afternoon, or the other way around. I spent 7 years in Palm Springs, so for me California is all about deserts and mountains.
Having spent a couple years in Southern California, it has its beauty and some of the people are amazing.. but its culture is over-hyped, and seems to be one of trying too hard. I can't imagine wanting to smell "California-ish".
They should make one called San Francisco Nightmare which smells like black tar heroin, forest fire, hobo excrement, marijuana, and low tide.
Now, that’s something I’d want to smell! 😂
Thanks for watching.

This is wonderful - thank you so much! I’m going to save this for when the day comes that I finally cross the Atlantic.
Take care!

Thank you. And yes - if you know a place well, it becomes extremely difficult to sum it up.
Been wanting to try this one, pricey that's for sure. Thanks for the review
