Agree, too high for a relic of the past. Old technology should go down in price.. people would buy much more and they would make a better profit. I guess the supply chain for firearms is slow.
MSRP is 990 bucks. I would buy it if it was a quality build and barrels were regulated well. Avg coach with hammers are about 700 to 1200 dollars I'm guessing because its marketed to the SASS Cowboy elderly states men. More coach guns need sling swivels included.
Being a pump guy and having a Winchester defender at half the price and three times the capacity, probably not. Interesting enough, both are made in Turkey. I have not seen a known brand name Turkey made shotgun that was not of good quality. Given that coach shotguns are popular, you should have a fairly good market for these nice looking and functional guns. Hope this helps!
I have a winchester SXP that is made in turkey, and a panzer m4 (a clone of the benelli m4) also turkish made both have been super reliable for me and they are great quality.
Beautiful gun. If it were the 1800's, I'd buy one! My M590A1 holds 12 more short shells and costs $250 less, made in U.S.A. and has the distinction of being a current military service weapon. These coach guns look good for SASS competition but don't expect you'll sell many. I would consider it an attractive novelty at half the price!
Good old fashioned home defense shotgun with color case hardened receiver. And hammer fire is nostalgic. 12 gauge 2 3/4 and 3 inch with brass bead front sight. What’s not to like?
@@Gieszkanne yes I have but they have gone up since the last time I shopped for them. Plenty at the $500-$600 mark. Which honestly all of them are over priced considering the price of a decent semi auto isn't that much more.
We have a spanish made 20 gauge like that, it was made back in the late 60s..and it kicks like a mule with 4 shot high brass...the barrels are choked down to about the size of a dime...very nice piece.
I have a 410 side by side I got 50 years ago. It was inexpensive. Its a great rabbit, quail and squirrel gun. Has A 24 inch barrel. Works well, even after all these years. But this is too expensive. The CZ bobwhite is a good choice for about $650. But its not a "coach" gun. I think a Stoeger coach gun, which is $100 less would be a better buy and you get options, like 12 or 20 gauge.
The price seems a little high for what you get. You're starting to get into reliable semi-auto territory with a $700 price. All I know about Heritage is hundred dollar plinkers, that also affects my perception of the value.
I would like to have one just because. I have some other old guns, mostly black powder guns, and this would fit that era just fine. No where to store it just yet, and I would wait a little longer for the price to come down.
I would buy it because it's cool. It's perfect for a Cowboy Action Shooting competition. However, Gun Smith should find away to make the shells eject out.
If I had the money I would buy one. A tad high priced for me. Looks like. Those shorty shells do better than the 2 3/4”. I have trouble seeing how this shorties would feed in a pump and not jam. The timing is made for 2 3/4” or longer. So 2 shells may come out at once in a pump. I do love her Lola of that gun. For that price it needs a WALNUT stock though. Too Expensive for what it is.
I’m assuming Turkish made…. But Heritage is owned by Taurus so maybe it’s Brazilian made. Are they actual hammers or just cocking indicators like the old Russian coach guns?
I want a full length 410 revolver shotgun with an actual shotgun barrel NOT some rifled hybrid that shoots 45 long colt as well . Just 410 and nothing else .
Cylinder and cylinder bore are the same thing. You said cylinder for one barrel and cylinder bore for the other. Maybe you meant IMP and CYL or both are just CYL bore.
You are correct. We phrase it the way we did for retail reasons - you would not believe how many times a customer has asked us "So this gun only takes 3" shells?" Obviously we explain it further, but there is a considerable number of novice shotgun buyers that don't understand 2 3/4" shells work in 3" chambers.
Not worth it. Too expensive and no shell ejector. It can be used in home defense but that goes for any gun. It technically is better than nothing. However it would probably make a good shotgun training gun.
@@Gieszkanneits because it takes a lot of precise milling on the reciever then the inner workings of the gun are pretty complex these things take a while to manufactore the parts and a while to assemble there fore they cost more to manfacture
@@GeorgiaRidgerunner The reciever of the 870 is also milled from steel but still its a lot cheaper. And the internal parts of a pump gun are more complex.

Not sure i care for the hammers.are they funtional. Is it safe to carry loaded jammers down????? Also dont need to suport a muselim country sorry and the fancy outside is cool but again unesseary
I own a coach gun. Same thing here. Except mine is 410. And made by c.i.a. Chinese. My point is. Same gun. Wood furniture. Side by side. Rabbit ears. For Way less. And choice of 410.12.20.
Well for starters 1. Get a job and make enough money to purchase it. 2. Go to their website and pay for it and have shipped to your local ffl or go to one of their stores and purchase in person. There I gave you step by step instructions on how to get one.
I gotta get one
You're gonna need another safe. 🤠
They look nice
It looks like a dressed up version of the old cheap Chinese dubble.
Where is this thing made?
Heritage is owned by Taurus. If I was a guessing man. I would say China or Turkey. @@tbjtbj4786
Nobody better qualified for an honest real guy review 💯 I’d Love to see that 💥💥💥
Art in the form of a double barrel coach gun. Nice !
Very nice piece, just out of many working folks price range who are raising families.

I'm pretty sure that nut at the end of the forearm has a slot for a swivel, not wholly sure but i think these may be a resurrect Rossi Overland
I got the Badlander this year, I liked it so much I got a 3" Rosco revolver which I'm enjoying as well. The Coachwhip looks neat
I’d go with the badlander just for the 18” barrels
Beautiful gun wish I could afford one always wanted one
Love these!!
I will wait for the 410 model ....
Great looking coach gun! Love to see it in a 20g.

The money. For a hundred less get a Stoeger.
Love it. I really like the shape and color of the wood. External hammers are cool, too. $650 would be better for someone that has lots of choices.
That's nice I've got the stoeger 20ga but might have check on the heritage to add with it

I like it.
I prefer internal hammers and double triggers like on a Springfield Stevens 5100 but either way double barrels will do the job. I do prefer 20 gauge.
The good thing with externals is that you can store and keep them loaded but with decocked hammers.
@@Gieszkanne True.
How do you get your wife to let you shoot in the house? Mine just draws the line there.
So both barrels can be fired at same time?????

Too much $ for a nostalgic firearm.

An exposed Hammer shotgun can be kept with loaded chambers & hammers safely down. Something you can't do with pumps and autos.

$750 for manual eject? 😢
Coachguns never have ejectors.
Why are these so much more expensive than pump shot guns?
Boxlocks are an art(a nearly lost one at that) that can't be assembled and manufactured the way a pump can
I doubt it is 2 3/4 and 3 inch chamber. It is a 3 inch and you can soot all ammo 3 inches or less in length.
