😂 I live 20 minutes from that intersection in Toms River, we have a real aversion here to left turn lanes on highways. I've always just assumed its rooted in corruption as it cost significantly more in New Jersey to build or repair a road so they probably build huge jug handles to skim more money from the contracts.
teddy making the most ridiculous interchanges is just so incredibly entertaining, especially with a lot of traffic involved
I really want to do "serious" builds at some point but i feel theres so many silly ones i need to get out of my system first 😅
We definitely need a lane connector and a pass through rule to make these junctions work.
The Toms River "thing" is easily the smallest suburban USA intersection by far
I was able to build a diverging diamond overpass with ease. I was really amazed I could do it with the basic tools in the game.
Im not getting over it! The pedestrian crossings in the first one are so hilarious. Sooo typical for the USA xD
I’m from Zaragoza myself, glad to see Spain again in the weird roundabout collection, I can’t understate the number of roundabouts like that in my city, a single avenue might have 10 or more of these roundabouts with a central road down the middle, the only one that has an intersection in the middle is the one you modelled, but every single avenue to avenue connection has a large roundabout with a ton of traffic lights, takes a little bit to get used to and I still am not completely sure how they work, since if you want to do a 180 in the Main Street you need to turn into the roundabout, but instead of completing it as you would do in a regular grade separated roundabout, you turn straight into the main road.
I counted alot of traffic lights also so id imagine ieven if they are timed well you have to stop and wait several times going through it
The sidewalks leading nowhere... :D
Maybe an interesting gem for a @NotJustBikes video
Oh god please dont tell them 🤣
We have something like that swedish intersection near where i live, except the "main" road there is instead a traintrack 😂 that people can cross in one spot but from 6 different directions
Yeah, that's a typical intersection in New Jersey.
The crosswalks in the middle of the New Yersey one is hilarious! The US is truly the land of not caring about pedestrian infrastructure and the home of the car
it may be a meme intersection, but it's also a real one, so keep them coming! practical and impractical!
Second intersection design is built in Saint Petersburg too. I went through it many times and i am still not understand why it exists
I prefer the memes. Don't forget about the spaghetti soup bowl interchange in Novi, Michigan ;)
Fidget Spinner Intersection 😁👏
lol it’s giving New Jersey 😂
the promised land of jughandle left turns!
You could try to replicate the new kungens kurva interchange in Stockholm or maybe the complex interchange connecting klarastrandsleden and E20/E4 next to Karolinska Institutet.
Now you need to make a “Jersey Highway.” Yes, it’s a thing.
Hero's Square intersection in Tbilisi would be great, very complex and on 3 levels
Check out the intersection at Seven Corners, Virginia, USA. It’s a strange half-roundabout with a highway running underneath it. I used to live near there and the key was to be in the correct lane approaching the interchange, otherwise you would end up somewhere completely different than you intended!
Noted!!
Virginia is full of obscure junctions
what about the kathipara cloverleaf?
Once again, great video, really enjoying these! 💛
It's very interesting to see what the road & traffic system in C:S2 can and can't do, i think building intersections like this is a really good exercise to become more familiar with this aspect of the new game ^.^
That Zaragoza roundabout intersection is one of my worst ETS2 nightmares. It's so confusing in my opinion :D
Speaking of ETS2, did you see they announced a Greece DLC a couple days ago? 👀🚚
I think you are right that a new Traffic Manager mod will still be highly requested/necessary for many players, but i still think the tools that C:S2 does give us in Vanilla are a really nice upgrade compared to Vanilla C:S1 ^-^
I imagine you're already maybe thinking about this, but I'll leave a little suggestion if i may anyway, just in case:
I think it would be really fun to look at some cursed tram intersections, i imagine there are some real "highlights" and I'd love to see how C:S2 handles them :D 🚋
Thank you so much for the video, again they are really fun 💛
ALL the best ^-^
Haha yeh i did see that! Really exciting stuff. Looking forward to all the new ferry hacks 😅. More tram stuff coming up for sure let me know if you got any interesting locations in mind
I was trying to think of some cool railway suggestions you could build in this series and while Google mapsiversing around the area where I live I found this 50.0029722, 20.9829500. I think this "train roundabout" would be perfect as it should be quite easy and straight forward to build and the adjacent station has the exact same number of platforms as the base game station.
Ohhhh (ill have to look that up,!)
M8/M73/M74 east of Glasgow in Scotland... definitely not a flat one though.
if this will progres to bridges, which i think it should :dd, I think that you should try to build "Barrandovský bridge" from Prague, second bussiest bridge :))
I would really want to do bridges also ;)
Ted should play freeways
What is this freeways of which you speak? 🙄
@@TeddyRadko it’s a game
Try making spaghetti junction in Birmingham, UK
this is the top requested interchange so far haha. i dont know if ill be able to resist lol
100th like on this video and 1000th view on the other one. What is happening!? Haha
traffic ai is worse than in the first game :C
Nice builds though!
Idk if id say that. The reroutingto avoid obstacles feature, kinda shown in the cinematics here, is pretty cool. Lane switching is worse tho
You should try Spaghetti Junction in Birmingham (uk)
It’s junction 6 of the M6 and looks horrible
Ignore that I just found this here:
54.77724730028256, -1.5725448711461416
Birmingham spagetti needs to be final boss of this series haha 😅
Wow that junction is horrible haha!!
Yeah I just had a proper look at spaghetti junction, seems quite difficult (how did someone come up with such a design)
And I agree, that one in Durham looks horrible.
@@GoZombies probably iteratively over long time. I dont think it was all built in one go to look like this 😅
