Ugh I've watched almost 100% of your videos but I keep going back to them for reference or entertainment because you're so good! You deserve more than a million subs!!!!
Beautiful look. Thank you kindly for taking the time to film. On the weekends I will sit at my vanity and use one of your videos to apply my makeup. My husband finally told me the other day that my makeup appears especially lovelier when I use your "tips". He does not like the "heavy" makeup look that many artists promote on youtube. Therefore, thank you from me and my husband, Lisa. Enjoy your day.
You are so amazing, you honestly teach us with so much respect. And celebrate everyone's individual beauty. I feel so pretty after watching, not the least bit less than.
@janmia73 I have my hair done at John Friedas salon in London with a semi permanent every 4-6 weeks. I also have one of their temporary colour glosses for shine sometimes. I dont know what colour it is, I'll ask my colourist next time I go there. This tutorial was filmed the day after I visited... so extra shiny!! x
@silvunich its not a silly question at all! You can use it straight on the eyelids without using anything underneath, this looks gorgeous. You can also use it on top of the cheekbones as a highlighter, on the lips for sheen and combed through eyebrows for hold and shine x
Haha, in my country it says sth like "kill 2 rabbits with one shot". I know it's been very long time since you wrote this comment, but it s interesting to find out some variants of this saying.
@Lilacs80 It probably has a different name in the States, I noticed that happens a lot. I'm not sure of a similar shade in L'Oreal....I'm in the US next week I'll have a look x
@artandis are you very fair skinned? you may need a lighter tone of contour. Some faces just don't suit contour no matter what (in my experience) though.... you may have enough 'natural' contour x
@stiffaniek I'm not sure which brands you have in Canada exactly but I suggest going to Boots (17, No7, Myface etc), Superdrug (Barry M, Girls Aloud lashes etc) and Selfridges (RMK, Suqqu etc) for a good mixture of drugstore and premium stuff . Having said that, in 8 hours you may not have time to go into central London so Boots in the airport could be your best bet. Have fun! X
@The23Aquarius I hear what you are saying but solid black is often too harsh. The reason I like that pen particularly is the mix of greys/black etc to give you a feeling of black without being completely flat solid black. Solid black is not present naturally in our colouring so it can look a little severe. Blending well does help though...as you said X
@kimberlysue2287 unfortunately i havent seen anything quite as good as this Japanese one yet - sure its only a matter of time until another brand dupes it though! x
@AmateurBeautyAddict I use it a lot for that and havent had a problem. Everyone is different and some people have very sensitive eyes but in general I've used it on many people without any adverse effects x
@bellaplutt if its making them small, skip the black along the waterline and replace with a pale beige pencil (mac chromagraphics are good) to keep the eye looking very open and wide-eyed x
@mini0001 I do use glitters around the eyes - you just have to make sure the person doesnt go to bed in them! I also like constructivist as a base for bronze shadow x
@edaleinn Laura Mercier make some good eyelid bases. They come in tubes with sponge applicator (similar to their lipglosses) and are available in some very pale shades x
LIsa, in your lip palette, next to Petunia..there is a Stila lipstick you've put a finger on .PLEASE share with us which lipstick is that...it says on you label Stila .'....nise'? thank you.
You are a master artist! Absolute BEST ON YOU TUBE MY TOP 2 FAVES! I LOVE this close up filming. Explanation, and all the differnt looks. Your petty darling but in a normal way so your artistry gives us girls true inspiration . You are so appreciated. Ty. Did you do a video on perfect light pink for all skin shades? I do not like guerlain. Too orange. Ps. I have thinner side too.
I Love this look and have wanted to do that amazing messy smokey eye look for ages, unfortunately I've not had the opportunity to wear such a heavy eye make up look in a while, however I plan on doing it for a gig and night out that I'm going on next Saturday. I've already had a practice run and I love it! I don't usually wear very heavy eye looks, so it's quite out there for me but I'm so excited to see what it looks like with my hair and outfit.
I love this look so much! You are so talented! I started a channel a little while ago and i am going to recreate this look because its amazing! But of course i will link this video and your blog in the discription so everyone else can see your amazing videos and talent. XoXo Domonique
LOVED this look! also, I'm so glad that you used that MAC mixing medium... I've seen it at the PRO store (both matte and glossy) and I really didn't know what it was for... and the MUA there didn't know much either, haha! Hope you feel like talking about it a bit more...
I really love the look of the glossy smokey eye, wowza you look so amazing. Thanks so much for sharing, this is going into my favs. It's a shame you weren't at IMATS in London, I would have loved to have seen you and attend any talk you might have done there.
Lisa, you're gifted with good taste. I love looks that showcase how lovely simplicity (along with technique of course) can be! The whisper of color on the lip is surprisingly pretty...as I am a gloss-a-holic when I'm not on set (visit crystal j makeup dot com). Best to you. Crystal
Hi Lisa! Can i also wear the smokey eye..i mean the black line under my eyelids? coz my eyes is really deep set & most of the time I have bad under eye dark circles. I do use a good conceiler....Clinique line smoothing Conceiler. I need your advice Pls. Thanks :)
As a makeup artist surely you should know that everybody s face is different one side to other ! Apparently Adam Faith ‘s face was exactly the same on both sides (just a bit of useless information) xx ,
i love this look! picking up mac's blackground paint pot first thing tomorrow. do u think using constructivist or indianwood paint pot with the same eye shadow would create a more subtle, bronzy look for the summer?
Hi Lisa! Do you think this would also look good on me? I have deep set eyes and really dark under eye circles. My Concealer is good though...the Clinique line smoothing concealer. Thanks a lot, I really need your advice :)
Hi Lisa! Did you use a setting powder on top of this foundation? If so...which one? What in your opinion is the best setting powder if you are going to be in pictures?
Wow, you really have a lot of talet! You're a great inspiration to all of us women in the world :-) Keep it up with what you're doing, you're doing a fantastic job! :-)
@MissPopeyes22 Oh, thank you! I have tried that, although it leaves my lips very patchy looking, the contrast between the color rimming my lips versus the insides does not change in ratio, it basically remains proportional, but thank you for the tip. Sometimes it works if I pack on powder, but that, too, isn't preferential, as it gets really thick and cakey, only emphasizing the lines in my lips. Ah well. I'll just have to find that perfect MLBB shade of lipstick. ^_^
Hi Lisa! I absolutely adore the looks you do and you teach us so many wonderful things about makeup and skincare. I also really like your tutorials because we have the same hair colour, eye colour and skin colour ( or at least very similar!)! We have very different face shapes though. I just thought I would point that out because I realized every single look that you do that I have tried on myself have worked AMAZING! lots of love from your biggest fan! Magz
Question>>>> I seen on a morning show in the US (the today show) a segment on beauty, they said you should never moisturize your eyebrows when moisturizing your face. I had never heard that before. I always have. What is your take on this??? They said it could make your eyebrow hairs sparce. thank you so much
She looked beautiful and you look beautiful! I really love this on you, and your skin looks amazing. It's funny that real makeup artists seem to love the creased look, while the normal woman hates it, because I remember that Sam from pixiwoo really loves that look too :)
Hi lisa you are wonderfull... I would like to ask you that where can i find Mac PRO mixing medium-shine? because i am living in the UK and there is no this product in MAC.. is there any different brand for this product.. i want this :) thank you xx
Love this look. It's so difficult for me to do a nude lip, though, as my lips are a darkish grey-brown on the outer parts of my lips, like liner, and on the inside my lips are quite a bright pink. I usually need quite a pigmented lipstick or tint to even out.
Dear Lisa, I have a hard time keep false lashes on for a long period of time...I find that they feel weird. Is this something that over time I could get use to? Or do you have any suggestions as to what I could do? Thank you so much
I don't know if this question has been asked before.. but.. obviously i cannot get my hands on this Suqqu felt tip eyebrow corrector, which, btw, i would die to own this exact one you use!! but, is there anything else you've found comparable?
i know this is a slightly random question but are the lipfusion plumping lip glosses good for everyday use or would you not recommend that? PLEASE ANSWER AND I AM A HUGE FAN!!!!
I just love this sort of smokey eye!! And I'm searching for a way to order a few Suqqu products in the US. I have very little brows and need a lot of help in that area.
most girls feel like they can relate more to the younger girls on youtube, it takes a true make up lover to see how amazing you are! keep up the amazing work!
this look looks lovely on you! the greys really emphosize the warmth of your brown eyes, I'm definetely tryin this look out on myself, Thank you so much!
Ugh I've watched almost 100% of your videos but I keep going back to them for reference or entertainment because you're so good! You deserve more than a million subs!!!!
This look is absolutely STUNNING on you...
she look like natalie portman and cheryl cole
I could just listen to your voice for the rest of my life
Yeah so relax
So true

that's what I am thinking right know!
6 years passed and she hasn't changed, aged in for a bit! Amazing
You are so amazing, you honestly teach us with so much respect. And celebrate everyone's individual beauty. I feel so pretty after watching, not the least bit less than.
You give such great shape to the eyes and thank u for giving tips for hooded eyed gals in your videos, that's really appreciated :)

You´re a great teacher :D
@kimchee80 yikes no thanks...I think my face/jaw is too thin and narrow as it is lol!! ; ) x
