Misha being able to switch up from Cass to Leviathan is just one of the best acts I've seen. Gives me chills everytime.
Shout out to Misha Collins for that final scene, his expressions and acting, it's so not like cass, and it creeps me out everytime. I love it!
Yes, even the way he holds his shoulders is different. Incredible acting.
Who is Cass? You mean Cas as in Castiel?
@@JohnWinchester3567 yes, the Winchesters often call him Cass
@@MegaJSK123 They're making fun of your spelling. People prefer Cas not Cass.
right! Misha is amazing!
There's also the fact that Cas prayed & _begged_ for God to come back & help/fix things, but his prayers were never answered
So in saying "I am your new God" what he's really saying is " *I* will help, I'll set things right, I'll fix the world in the ways my father refuses to"
At 9:08, whenever you see Jensen's face for that scene, Jared isn't facing him. He was making Jensen crack up so much that he couldn't say his lines, so they had Jared turn around, so he could crack up the crew instead...
I remember that from the gag reel! That was hilarious!
I remember!
Dean asking "Who are you" because he can't believe Cas would act like this & so he must be possessed/corrupted
Dean: Cas _how dare_ you work with Crowley to defeat an enemy much stronger than you!
Dean 3 episodes later: We gotta work with Crowley to defeat Cas, who is much stronger than us! This is in no way hypocritical of us
Damn! Never saw it that way but you 💯 percent right that is all the way hypocritical
and he also did it before to beat lucifer, Cas wasn't fan of it, but he still had their back
I love to listen to Death speak. His voice commands respect & his story telling was great. What a super actor! They found the perfect actor for this role!
So far Misha has been: Angel Cas, Jimmy Novak, Human/Fallen Angel Cas (which is just a depowered version), French Mistake Misha Collins, God Castiel (which is basically still Cas just powered up) and now Leviathan Cas. Have I missed any? Don’t include any that haven’t come up yet.
I think you got them all. Endverse Cas is not just depowered, he is hopeless and ready to die.
German Soldier Cas?
Lol pornstar cas? " I learned that from the pizza man"😂
I was so looking forward to “nice pickle chips by the way”. I love Death so much! He is the GOAT!
I don't why, but it's always funny to me how they had that little Devil's trap for Crowley 😂. It's like the smallest Devil's trap I've ever seen on the show, but I guess they wanted to make sure he had no room to move in it.
Anyway, this is why Dean asked Castiel to not do what he was planning on doing in regard to Purgatory. Not to be controlling, or that he was upset at Castiel for having a mind of his own, or that Castiel needed his permission. It was to prevent something with good intentions from turning into something that leads Castiel down a dangerous path and that's exactly what happened. But somehow Dean was seen as being in the wrong as if he didn't deal with this same thing with Sam and the demon blood.
This was a great episode and Misha Collins' (Cass) acting was so good at the end. I also loved Nathan's explanation about Purgatory and Demons!
Just as a note: That last a scene? Misha Collins was sick. Like vomiting awfully sick that day. And to still give us that switch up???? Pleaseeeeeee.
I do love the Leviathan arc and what it leads up to~
SPN: Cas has gone mad with power!
Cas: *goes after homophobic priests, performs mass healings, goes after corrupt politicians, dismantles the KKK *
SPN: he's being such a bad guy right now /=
Exactly, he’s oppressing my white power -👴🏻
TBF, he's massacring people in the process. And the power was killing him.
literally lmao I do feel bad for the angels though...well maybe not really because haven't they also done genocide on the human race before ?
yeah man, death is the answer to ignorance
@@grelkie but Cas wasn't out there massacreing by the thousands, he was publicly confronting bigots, hypocrites, & people abusing their power & _only_ killing said person _in power_ (and only after they refused to back down)
He doesn't slaughter that whole congregation, only the priest.
He didn't _mean_ to kill all those campaign volunteers, he went there to _talk_ with the senator (just like he started out only talking to the priest)
My point was that Cas didn't keep all that power because he was a power-hungry villain/to be a tyrant--he chose to "become God" because he wanted to try & _help_
This is a carry-over that started way back in s5, when Cas learned that God was aware of what was going on, but refused to help (and more specifically of 6x20 when he prays for guidance & gets ignored yet again)
Cas was disillusioned & angry & he felt abandoned, so he decided to try & fix the world on his own
Am I saying it was the right choice? No. Free will means accepting bad people exist & bad things happen sometimes; micro-managing humanity (even with good intentions) violates free will
But I _am_ saying Cas was *not* a villain for this
16:41 flashing back to the previous reaction Davion was right about Lucifer coming back!
He’s a genius
But he was talking about Actual Lucifer, this is Hallucifer, so he was Half right ;)
i mean not really? he was convinced they needed to free lucifer or go to him in hell to talk to him sooo he was half way there
My theory for why God sealed the Leviathans in Purgatory instead of killing them is that he saw no reason to kill them. Like, he created these things, so maybe he saw it as wasteful to eradicate his creation simply because he accidentally made them too dangerous to (somewhat) coexist with the rest of them. So he created a place where they can exist and not harm his other creations.
Leviathan Misha is such a great performance
Every time I watch this I keep thinking it’s the finale to season 6 and the next episode is the first episode of season 7
It’s the same with me! I always forget this is a premiere
That's because the writers over the summer realized they had to change directions
This season would've been so much better if they kept the Cas God storyline and ditched the leviathans. It would've made much more sense with the rest of the show and it would've been personal to the boys
@@rafaelcruz9973 ok I know I’m gonna get pelted with tomatoes but I actually like season 7 and the leviathans as villains I’ve watched this season so many times and I gotta say I don’t think it’s as bad as so many people make it out to be FIGHT ME
@@SJ_RANKS I don't think it's a bad season at all, I thought the leviathans were fun, but you got to admit they were complete filler villains and this season served almost no purpose whatsoever to the show. All the other seasons build on each other, but season 7 is just a thing of its own. It doesn't mean it's bad, but it is irrelevant imo
Heights (according to the internet, varies slightly from source to source):
Jared - 6'4"
Jensen - 6'1"
Misha - 5'11"
Nathan's point about "why don't the monsters just go to heaven or hell, vampires/werewolves/etc have souls" - I personally believe that at least some should get the choice to go to heaven if they were good when they were alive. Examples: Madison (Sam's werewolf gf from Season 2), Dr. Visyak (who Cas and Crowley killed last episode), and a certain character introduced later this season - who I can't mention because of spoilers - and his future family.
Crowley said in S5 when Dean and him are looking for Death that Deaths scythe is rumored to be able to kill Death. That's why he gave it to him and Death said "thanks for bringing that back to me". So it is possible but it highly unlikely because Death is the most powerful being in SPN.
I mean.. Mishas acting here is amazing.
And Lucifer have some pretty funny and epic lines lol
Oh I can’t wait for the psychiatric ward and the library scenes. Those are some of my favorite scenes.
The whole problem with knowing if there is an afterlife is that it takes free will and choice away from a person. If you inherently 100% know that heaven is a thing one day and you can only get into by living your life a specific way then you'd literally lose your free will to live any other way of life. The reverse is true for reincarnation. If you know no matter what life you'll live you'll die and be reborn with no consequence of who you were then you'd live a life carefree and not giving a fuck about anything, or potentially being really evil and or sadistic. That's why laws and balance are needed in life. To have an incentive to actually live life within a specific standard. If we didn't have any laws or a system in place to enforce those laws then this world would be utter chaos. An argument could be made this is the current state of the world already, but I firmly believe it would be considerably worse without balance.
Purgatory was like God’s rough drafts folder 📁
Leviathan!Cas is so much fun! I _love_ Misha's acting in that ending scene, I remember being sooooo excited for Leviathan!Cas to be the s7 big bad
i think they said during season 5, Death can only die from his own scyth
The way I see it, Cas was never a God, the power of the souls and the Leviathan combined sort of supercharged him and he probably felt so much more powerful than he’d ever been. It makes sense that from his perspective he’d feel like he was on Gods level and good do anything. I don’t think that he could have been powerful enough to actually get rid of Hell, he was either bluffing to intimidate Crowley or he genuinly thought he had enough power to do so and was planning to figure out how to attempt it before he decided not to.
This is one of the best season premieres because Misha is at it again with his incredible acting. Leviathan Cas is a favorite among the many different versions of the character he’s played. Did you know that during that last scene when the Leviathans take over that Misha was actually really ill? Apparently he was so sick he was vomiting between takes, but I can’t remember if they made him stay and finish shooting the scenes or if he chose to stay. It’s instantly so much more impressive knowing he was feeling like absolute shit but still managed to deliver and make it as convincing as it is.
dean in his lil overall fixing baby 🤲 also the third ep of this season was directed by jensen
Death looked so betrayed by Dean, his foodie buddy.
the mug shot is fire
Jared is 6’4
I personally feel like supernatural stuff happens in real life but we’re so brain washed to think it’s fake we eventually believed it so then when something does happen we say it’s edited or fake
We need ep 8 of ST
It _is_ so very messed up & unfair that all monsters go to Purgatory
Sam's werewolf gf from s2 is in Purgatory.
All those good "vegetarian" vampires that only drank animal blood? Still go to Purgatory when they die. Whether they are good or bad, they end up in monster land for all eternity
I watched this after getting home from the supernatural convention this weekend ! It was awesome
that poor 2 random people seeing Death himself lol.
Lets goo new season cant wait🙌🏽
Honestly my fav season and like big bad supernatural creature. Love the Leviathan 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
will divek ever come back ?
Where did he go? Maybe vacation?
I was wondering the same thing
@@kirsten9277 he’s been gone for almost 2 months now, maybe family issues i’m guessing
@@jordynb1564 🤷♀️
With the addition of alpha creatures, not all supernatural were ever human. With humans that are turned to whatever (seems mainly vampire or werewolves because shapeshifters seem to only be born) they are no longer humans ever and that’s why they go to purgatory.
funfact: the introdesign tells u every season something about the story
yes, this should have been the season 6 finale. It was a good episode and gave me hope of a good season.
Hell is hell even for demons, they said so in the show.
Hell is still Hell for Demons, Meg says so. Demons still suffer in Hell.
LOVE this discussion
You wouldn’t want to know everything in the world because that would also include the stupid little things. Like, if someone was cheating, or crimes they committed, or want they really thought of you, or what their weird kinks are and that’s not even going into the big things. What if you knew someone was going to commit a horrific crime but they’re on the other side of the world and you can’t do anything to stop them.
Yeah season 7 ❤
This show is the only time I get excited to see death!
Let’s goo been waiting for this one
Did I miss something? Where is Divek (I don't know how to spell his name) Like I haven't seen a video with him in it and I was just curious lol
in some secs. of relgion the belief behind purgatory is basically lost souls/the unbaptized go there and the land is filled with monsters and beast that god has banaished from ever seeing the light of earth. so when cas did what he did his plan was to collect those lost souls but there is infomation that only the higher ups i.e god and death, because death, and god where there when they were created, because when life exist death follows. so death was there to know.
Being an Angel was to mainstream for Cas, so he became God.
Eh Cas is still the best character of the show
What is the difference between a leviathan and a roach? Once they were created, you can't just wipe them away because all of creation were created for an infinite reason. Although they were more powerful, God didn't want to delete them. So he created a place for them to go. Leviathan were created before souls. It's hard to explain without spoilers. Just think of it as God created them, but didn't want to destroy them while he was in his creation phase, so he created a place for them. Everything else came later
we need that strangerr things episode
I mean, according to the real lore, Leviathan actually is one being, not a species consisting of multiple members. Also Leviathan is a she, not he, so idk why Supernatural made there be multiple leviathan and made the leader a man. If they wanted Leviathan to be this powerful boss commanding other beasts, the show could've had Levia be the leader of a trio of her and her primordial siblings Behemoth and Ziz. That'd be more accurate. And then when they try to take over the world it'd make sense since Leviathan is the primordial sea creature, Behemoth is the primordial land creature, and Ziz is the primordial sky creature, so together they would be like the rulers of the whole world. And if the show desperately wanted there to be multiple leviathan, they could've had her hook up with some humans and make some human-sea creature hybrids that'd serve her since she's their mom.
Ayy season 7 Les Goo!!! ❤️👏
Where is episode 8 of Stranger things 😫 ??
Here comes Hallucifer! Hope you enjoy S7!
Personally is my least favourite season. I really like Sam's and Cas' storyline, but the Leviathans are meh for me. I rememeber being bored most of the season. So when I rewatch I only watch the episodes I like XD
I agree personally season 7 is my least favourite season for the show
For me the only eps I watch from this season is…
1,3,6,9,10,12,15,17,18-23.
Spoiler alert
Yes, Sam hallucinations and Cas come back is far more interesting in this season than the actual big bad. But the saddest is what happened to Bobby
Speak for yourselves, season 7 was actually the season that got me hooked on supernatural. Sure it’s not as good as the others but it still has its moments
@@matthewbee128 bruh we didn't said it's a bad season, but it's just our least favorite season. But it's not a bad it's just not that memorable cause upcoming seasons and previous seasons is better than s7.
Misha never said he was bi. Someone else mentioned a string of things, most of which did apply to him with bi tucked in there with the rest and he said, "All of the above." Of course, the toxic shippers immediately pretended he had come out as bi. Misha is straight. His wife is apparently bi. He would never have pretended to be bi just to make the shippers happy. It was a genuine misunderstanding.
Something Ive never seen mentioned with the reincarnation theory is if souls just get reincarnated over and over, how many souls are there total? What if the birth and death rates are different? Are new souls recreated then or is time different and you can be reincarnated as someone in the past?
no stranger things today? :(
copyright. will be up sometime today
@@JustUs oh okay!
@@JustUs when??
Has Nathan watched all the way to season 15?
it's the way Davion loves dean so much for me, same same same, you understand, you get it bad 💚
Yay yay yay yes!!!!!!!! Omfg 😻
Purgatory is the way of erasing I think but magic is the way to accessing it so yeah 💀 cuz monsters were never meant to exist
So, why did Divek get fired from this channel? He was my favorite.
He should have told them bend the knee
What if both reincarnation and heaven & hell exist. Reincarnation not just as humans but any living being. This is the premises of Hinduism
Any movie reactions coming out? Can't wait for Harry Potter ⚡️
I just wanna reincarnate into myself again and change certain things
It's either my computer or the sound this episode was way too low guys. It is an hour-long show, more show, less talk, at least a little more please. I know I am complaining, but I am glad you guys are watching.
human souls go to heaven or hell. supernatural creatures that die go to purgatory, so there are no human souls there
Life sucks too much for reincarnation to be a good thing.
Cas 100% killed Balthazar. If you didn't realize that, go watch again. Jared is 6'5", Jensen is 6'1, Misha is 6'1/2". The blinding light that came out of Cas were the monster souls returning to Purgatory. Leviathans were created by God to be eternal beings, so it wasn't the Leviathans' souls that were in Cas, it was the Leviathans themselves. Dean was in Hell for 40 years, he started torturing others after 30. Demons were Lucifer's attempt at creation, but he could never manage more than to twist human souls. He couldn't form a being from nothing, as God did.
Misha Collins is 5’11. He’s shorter than Jensen Ackles
@@andreasmith9809 He's only 1/2" shorter than Jen. He's 6' 1/2".
@@TheAlmaward I’m not sure where you heard that but most sites you go to say 5’11. Would you let me know your source so I can read/watch it? I prefer to have correct information and if I’m wrong, I want to know about it.
