What's fun about cards like Lich's Mastery and Nefarious Lich is that it forces those opponents to avoid killing you and keep you in the game no matter how annoying you get, as the moment you lose, those cards leave play and thus make them lose, too. Mind games at their best.
Bazaar Trader: 1R - Goblin - T: Target player gains control of target artifact, creature, or land you control. (this effect doesn't end at end of turn). 1/1
Okay, but Coveted Jewel. Draw three cards, donate it with Blim, next turn attack to get it back and draw 3 more cards, then repeat. Also I still dream of giving somebody a Blightsteel Colossus and then Backlashing it.
Thanks! Glad you liked it! The good thing about Blim and auras is that you can donate them to an opponent but still reap their benefits since they're still attached to your creatures.
@@TheCommanderTavern how would that work if I enchanted blim? If I donate kaya's ghostform to another player's creature, I would still have it on blim, is that what u meant?
@@calebtan1042 No, when you give control over a permanent you control, that's the only thing it does: give control. So if you give control of an aura, the aura stays attached to whatever it's enchanting; just the controller of the aura changes. Exchanging control doesn't change targets or anything else; you just change who controls it and nothing else.
While damage is fun from something like cosmic horror I'm more of a Demonic Hordes guy. I try not to break the social construct of lands too oftain but you did by including aggressive mining lol.
That's definitely a great thing to donate to someone who isn't running black! How evil! You would have to be careful about Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth making your opponents' lands swamps also. They'd be able to pay for that upkeep cost.
@@douglasdakin3934 I didn't want to include Homeward Path because that also returns all the bad gifts to me, as well. That's not a risk I'm willing to take since they'd ALL come back to me and I can realistically count only on Blim to gift them back to opponents one at a time.
Blim is one of my favorite new commanders and I can't wait to put a deck together for him! I'll mention this in the Discord, but how about Infernal Denizen? How does that card work in a 4 vs match?
I think that when you have multiple opponents you just choose one (but it's still not a targeted effect). The problem with Infernal Denizen is that an opponent may use it and steal Blim. Not to mention it costs a whopping 8 mana to cast. Paying 8 mana for a spell that doesn't win you the game or do something substantial isn't something I'd add. Not to mention that if you steal anything with it, Blim will hurt you too with its trigger.
@@TheCommanderTavern since Blim only triggers on attack you could donate anything stolen with Blim. And as long as you don't have control of the denizen, you don't have to worry about Blim being stolen. But 8 mana for a spell that doesn't win the game does seem like a bit much
I have one question When i donate curse of opulence to an opponent the player is still enchantet but i dont get a treasure anymore when another player is attacking the enchantet player...the player with the curse on his side is getting the token when i attack the enchantet player. This is a little bit downside when u donating something like this
You still get the treasure token, since you're still an opponent of the enchanted player. It's just that they also get a treasure token whenever they get attacked. So any of their opponents attacking them still get a treasure, they just happen to get one too. Hopefully that clears it up for you.
@@TheCommanderTavern so for example the players are me, tim, lin and gin The enchanted player is gin. And then i attack with blim lin and give him the curse of opulence. @@robinlehner8269 If Gin is enchanted and Lin controls the curse, then whenever one of Lin's opponents attacks Gin, they get a treasure token and so does Lin but Gin doesn't get the treasure. So if you attack Gin, both you and Lin get a treasure token.
I’ve considered this deck before, due to blims effect and many curse effects dealing 1 damage. I suggest a master of cruelties to make for a quick death.

Yup! Actual politicking since politics are inherently evil 😈
Great video!

Great video! I've been excited to test out Blim and this brew seems really fun
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
With the eyes you can't actually donate them. They prevent non-eyes from attacking and thus keep you from attacking with blim and donating the eyes.
That's true! Thanks for pointing it out. At least you can still give an evil eye away using Harmless Offering.

True, but the deck already relies on blim attacking so the evasion used to get him through can be equipped to the master for an attack.
