You're blowing my mind with the double crochet hat tip! I've been learning to crochet for the last 6 months, and was just convinced I was doing things wrong because of the gaps at the end of the round!

Happy to help! The funny thing is I'll notice an actor wearing a double crochet hat on TV or in the movies, and I'll see those gaps and think, even the professional costume designers don't know the trick to fix that!

Mine still has bit of gap & looks like I’m missing a stitch at the end, but the count is correct. It’s waaay better than before though so I’ll continue watching the video to see what I’m doing incorrectly. I love this tip though!! I’m a beginner & am so glad I found your video! Thx for sharing ❤Can’t wait to learn more from you :)

    About your last tip:
Some people learned to crochet with both hands.
Theese can change their Hand and working-direction each round without returning their work.
So all stitches have the front on the same side of the work.
This looks way more uniform, especially with single crochets.
