You're blowing my mind with the double crochet hat tip! I've been learning to crochet for the last 6 months, and was just convinced I was doing things wrong because of the gaps at the end of the round!
Happy to help! The funny thing is I'll notice an actor wearing a double crochet hat on TV or in the movies, and I'll see those gaps and think, even the professional costume designers don't know the trick to fix that!
Mine still has bit of gap & looks like I’m missing a stitch at the end, but the count is correct. It’s waaay better than before though so I’ll continue watching the video to see what I’m doing incorrectly. I love this tip though!! I’m a beginner & am so glad I found your video! Thx for sharing ❤Can’t wait to learn more from you :)
I absolutely needed this tutorial❢ Thank you for making it really available for people like me to easily find; and for providing such clear cut instructions for me to follow (as always)❣️

THANK YOU! I was trying to learn how to crochet some cotton bucket hats a few years a ago, but gave up part way because the visible lines were driving me nuts. I really appreciate this, as well as the short form video! 😊
Thank you for your wonderful tips & techniques... they are so useful & help immensely ...... you have in this video a small pouch using the star stitch.... I was wondering if you had the pattern for the actual pouch... it is the perfect size that I am looking for... Thank you for all your great videos

Yep - I have a tutorial on multiple ways of changing colors (in the round too). ua-cam.com/video/yk3fTD8QbjY/v-deo.html

Donna, do you prefer to care the green through or yarn off?
So when you are done doing increase stitches for the hat rounds it does stay the same stitch count for the later rounds then?
Wow... I love a crochet... do you have book crochet?
Mam i would like to know the type of yarn u use n for making amigurumi
I have my round base, how do I go straight up I am covering a large tall jar
So if a pattern says to (SC, dec) x 4, do you do an SC, dec, SC, dec, etc 4 times? Or do you do an SC, then decrease 4 single crochets at a time?
I don’t know how I got to the tv screen. Is there a charge for this
When working in the round, how do you keep the rows from running at an angle. I can't keep mine straight
