The charges arent even hard to dodge, especially compared to older games where it was the whole ass monster

Bloodbath's massacre rage mode still gives me PTSD.
Worst part was Frenzied Bloodbath. First time i did that hunt i got triple carted no probs.

For anyone having trouble with Black Diablos as well, I suffered a lot until I started bringing _a truckload_ of Paralysis on my weapons. Between that, flinch shots, screamer pods and thorn pods, poor thing doesn't even get to play.
As a hammer main i was legitimately hoping for bloodbath diablos until frostfang barioth came out and gave an actually meta armor set with slugger secret

It's enemies like these that made me truly appreciate Clutch-Claw Counter on Lance. Assuming you have the health to tank through the chip-damage, Diablos essentially kill themselves. I miss CCC in Rise :/

The first part of the fight in that tight chamber perfectly shows why I don't like fighting monsters in tight spaces especially Black Diablos and her BS hitboxes. I dung pod her out if she stays there for too long and just run to the next much wider chamber and wait.

I love any diablos from any MH title, the all physical moves make it fun and easy to telegraph. Then again, glavenus was my boy.

I remember there was a quest to upgrade a mantle that put you against a tempered black diablos and my lord that was the most frustrating fight I've ever had. Never carted to velkhana or raging brachy yet failed this diablos quest twice. It would spam the dig attack non stop, was capable of almost 1 shotting me and would always do a charge every time i got stunned. She's the reason i run stun resistance 3 over divine blessing cuz that actually helps me more lol

Eating before the mission and using a weapon with faster animations whilst using thorn pods on its face for repeated knockdowns can make this fight a lot easier

Was always a Gunlance kinda guy myself. Works just as well considering it has the same shield as lance, haha.

If you haven’t beaten him yet, there’s a pretty simple cheese you can do. It’s staying by his tail when he does a beam outwards. It takes a while but it keeps you relatively safe. There’s a video online that shows it in a little more detail.

Dual blades make quick work of the Diablo’s parts 👍 Rocksteady mantle helps a lot to launch them and get those free knockdowns. Then just hammer away with the blades and you’ll be done in about two- three minutes.

OMG, I mostly hate about her digging attack. Not just pop out twice but when B.D. did the roar, she immediately charge at me. I'm not using other charm except evasion charm (I also became ultra instinct with it) to dodge attack and roar. I still hate her moves.
I have serious respect for monsters that can send me to meet God without even using any elements. Just brute force.
