that's me with my behemoth armor but here's the down fall it leaves me 100 hp and stamina 😐🥲 it's painful how the perks would help but no always the canteen palicos chooses the meals recommend for me

Lunastra isn't hard.. she just does bullshit damage with bullshit hitboxes and decides at times you can't have fun and spams the same undodgable attack

@Sebastian Valentin na ah, lunastra dont hit like truck, but her fast hitting and big hitbox is ridiculous, i cheese tempered teostra with ease with HR gears when i dont have iceborne yet, but even non tempered lunastra is blatantly annoying and hard.
@Sebastian Valentin anyway, op doesn't say he cant beat lunastra, he just stated fact that lunastra have ridiculous hit box and love to spam attacks.
I can beat lunastra, but that doesn't mean i love fighting her, especially with her only weakness spot is her head.

Lunastra is fine
Except for the details like...
Her WINGS being the highest hitzone (55?!) for sever damage
Has by far the strongest ultimate ability out of any elder dragon where the recommended strategy is to farcaster.
Has a very hard to escape cone move that deals huge damage and is frequent
Has teostra on steroids fire dot aura
Keeps you begging her to stop moving her ass and pretend like she has Daora's wind aura which cancels your attacks
Did I also mention that both her armor and weapons are garbage while being the by far hardest elder dragon?
Also - She doesn't really "KILL" you, only makes you waste healing supplies like no other boss due to the frequent damage.
Honestly I’ve never once killed her for more than the temporal mantle. It just isn’t worth it.

@@kobayashi7933 here’s the thing though. Fatalis is supposed to be hard as shit. His weapons and armor clearly make up for it, and he certainly upholds the lore surrounding him. Lunastra is just some blue bitch they wanted to randomly bring back and made hard as hell for no clear reward.

The sheer amount of defensive skills a non speedrunner/casual player SHOULD run against this Elder Dragon is ridiculous and the salt on your wounds is her MR armour is garbage compared to her HR
Are you disrespecting tool specialist? Tool specialist plus glider plus any other mantle in the game gives you 100% uptime on your mantles and the glider comes with 2 four slots so it actually isnt terrible. But the lunastra armor is ass i will give you that.
@@christiankirby8092 hehehe nah man Tool Specialist is beast on SwAx builds (LS main but i'm learning SwAx) but MR Luna armor is trash compared to HR version...full HR set was used to speedrun Behemoth, that...is...impressive but for realz the MR Luna armor is garbage

Fun fact: You can entirely avoid Lunastra's Supernova while being in range of the blast zone if you continuosly spam superman dives away from her. Same trick CAN work for Fatalis V-Flame, but without good timing you can get hit before executing a second dive.

So lemme get this straight. Full damascus gear with fire res 3 gets you somewhere around 35-40+ fire resistance. With Heat Guard, you should be nigh impenetrable to flame.
_You can even walk on lava without damage._
Yet Lunastra's flaming flatulence burns hotter than the surface of the sun apparently, so maybe instead of the simple red fireproof mantle we could just get one made from Lunie's taint.
Wait you mean the Damascus armor doesn’t stop the flame dmg. Bruh finally did the quest to repel her but now was thinking of getting Damascus gear in order to farm her for weapons/armor

I have tried using lance and honestly I hate people that say lance is very basic because it really isnt. It is like trying to use a defensive longsword. You need to know when you are about to be attacked and react to it. Not react as precisely as longsword but you do have to time your guards well or you just get decked.
