Day 2: Hi Lisa....RAMEN TORTILLAS....I saw this recipe today...you can blitz the ramen into powder and make the tortilla dough from that and use the seasoning packets for any protein or veggie you want to add as the filling..
@@swathysatheesh31 Ya ...yesterday while I was seeing the episode...all I could think was this Ramen challlenge...it was wicked so though I would suggest it:)

The progression of your content has been insane, I haven’t watched in a while but this is so new and unique. Congrats on the success and best of luck with everything else you do!
I think the key here was to not add seasoning to it afterwards but actually before hand. The smoke left as soon as you boiled it and if you let the sauce mix get smoked with the noodles it'll come out as intended.
as an Indonesian,Im proud that Indomie Goreng was shoutout here, But Indomie goreng isnt a ramen,Its actually a fried noodle. But thank you for choosing Indomie Goreng. Keep up the great content!
It's true ramen is referring to soup base noodle dish, but I think most American called instant noodle as instant ramen whether it's dry or soup base CMIIW
I think it’s a good idea to have your noodles smoked. It definitely needs more testing and perfecting considering no one really tasted the difference but this could be a thing.
As an indian I sometimes smoke vegetables or salads, i just put the veggies in a bowl make a small space for coal, them i heat the coal and once it's hot i put it in the bowl and put some ghee on it and cover it. It gives a very nice smoky flavour
Those seasoning packets are always so tough to squeeze out lol, especially since a lot of the time when I buy those type of ramen noodles they've come a long way to get to my small town so they're kinda old.
Those ramen packages are my favourite and I was so jealous when I saw lisa with a bunch of them My stores near me haven't restocked them in 2 weeks so I miss my fried egg and noodle combo I mananged to find a single package yesterday so I finally got to eat them today
You should try legendary Auntie Fee's ramen recipe!! The one you break the dry noodles in little pieces and then fry it in some fat before adding water. It really makes a huge difference in flavor, especially if you fry it until golden brown. I think it would be really cool if you made a video trying it out!
"Lisa I known we've been together for almost 5 years now and I think it's time for us to move forward in this relationship, will you marry me?" Lisa: Yeah but do you taste the SMOKINESS?
If you’re up to another fun fusion, ramen pizza is my recommendation. Noodle base (cook them like usual then mold a soft base). Toppings of your choice, but I recommend beef jerky, instant sausage, pork floss, egg, shrimp and spring onion topped with ketchup and mayonnaise (yes I’m recommending bánh tráng nướng toppings lol)
Day 207 of asking Can you instead of just eating the level 7 spicy noodles right away do it step-by-step? so by the time you get to 7 you’ll be ready!!😁
@@GeekyGirlsNightIn she did something similar where she tried different spicy foods trying to increase her tolerance and then tried the level seven noodles at the restaurant and failed for the second time I’m suggesting that she starts at level one and does them step by step over a series of days as a part of her spice tolerance journey so when she reaches level seven she will be more prepared! 😊
Hey Lisa I had a suggestion for Ramen burger recipe could you try it by deep frying Ramen with coating of egg and crushes Ramen I hope it will help the Ramen buns to stay in place Anyways love ur videos and keep going 👍
She needs to keep making vids she's the best don't ever Give up you one day she might be a professional chef she make my day better she even makes me try new things I mean ahe can hit 10m subs one day
As an Indonesian and I eat Indomie for so many times, I think you will find it hard to taste the smokiness since Indomie Goreng is already rich with flavors. The best way to eat Indomie Goreng is to just eat it the way it is. Maybe you can taste the smokiness if it’s Indomie Kuah (Indomie Soup) because the flavors is not that strong.
So I know I'm late to the party, but I'm rebinging this series and I just reminded myself of something. We often say that carries flavor. The chemicals that give the smoky flavor could be more soluble in fat than in water (they're probably organic molecules, and a lot of these are nonpolar or slightly polar). Perhaps smoking the noodles after they're coated in the saucy seasoning could let them retain more of the smokiness?
Interesting experiment, perhaps if you cooked the ramen, with a bit of extra ramen water that was cooked with. Smoke the ramen after you cook it with some “ramen water/broth”. After smoking, there will be residual water/broth left & you could simply toss/mix it again to rehydrate the noodles. The water/broth ofc-would be reduced too!
hey lisa, this is a quick tip: only fats catch smokiness, thats why whatever thing you eat which is smoked in some way or form, has fat in it is because only fats are able to grab smokiness: for example tandoori food(through marinades containing yoghurt), cheeses, briskets, ribs, etc.
Try soaking them in the water longer then smoking it longer. I think the fact that you soaked them first is what helped them to start cooking through when you soaked them.
lisa this remidns me of how i used to smoke fires.. do try that its rlly good, i usually did it in my house by warming up a piece of coal and then puttin the fries in a bowl with the warm coal and adding a spash of oil
*Day 1* of asking lisa to cook a half fried egg for her ramen, my wayy 1)Heat the pan a lil bit 2) Add some chilli oil on the portion where you ll be cracking d egg 3) Spread the oil well 4) Crack an egg, there 5)Cook as long as you prefer 6) sprinkle some black pepper powder on the top and you're done.. Easyyy *Optional: add some cheddar on the top just after you crack it and cook it with the lid on thanks
Not sure if you’ll read this but maybe next time, while heating up the water. You’ll just heat up alittle and add the spices into it. You then add the ramen straight from the smoker. Might help keep everything smoky
What do you think Day 8 will be?
Ramen empeñada they would be yummy 😋
Ramen Chips? Or Make Ramen with Cheapest stuff
Nissin
You should make a ramen bouritto or a ramen quesadilla!! Edited: try one star vs five star ramen
You should just do plain old Maruchan chicken flavored ramen
Lisa you're going to go down in history as the first person to successfully smoke ramen 😂 I love it. Super creative
Yea lol
Fvking legend
I put ramen in a toaster once
