No no its legit, only we wouldnt blend the tomatoes but rather mash them with the food mill/ masher so to keep the fibers red and not oxidate into that orange shade that i saw here

I love watching this. It is hypnotizing and relaxing. I love the fresh ingredients used and it has been inspiring me to add more fresh produce to my recipes.

@@margewicksall5995 The thing is, I know how to cook pasta. Aside from being "clean", almost every step this person did was for show and objectively bad.
1) He cooked the noodles first and let it wait for the sauce. 2) he smashed the potato with a blender which destroyed all the fiber. 3) he mixed fresh tomatoes with canned tomatoes (wtf?) 4) He doesn't know what a scraper is for 5) way too much broth in the stir-fry process, not enough starch or tossing 6) he continued cooking for so long after adding so much shredded cheese 7) poor presentation.
The end result is soggy, greasy, overly cheesy and just nasty in general.

I am not italian and this hurts my heart as well. Absolutely not the way to make a good pasta meal. Cheap dried pasta instead of fresh, the pasta is sitting around too long after cooking, bland sauce, industrial style cooking techniques. This is a dish I would expect in a cafeteria, but if i got in a nice restaurant I would send it back.

Second, if in ITALY, among the suggested videos, one is presented entitled "ability to make pasta! tomato, preparation of pasta with basil" with the title in ITALIAN, I suppose we are talking about a recipe that for better or worse has what to do with Italy, even for the typical ingredients of our cuisine (tomato, basil, grana padano).
Third, an eight-year-old like my son knows how to cook pasta without overcooking it, and any cook who can't make simple spaghetti simply needs to stop cooking.
Again, a supposed chef knows that a good sauce depends on tomatoes called "San Marzano" or i Ciliegini, i Fischietti or i Datterini. An alleged chef should know these things, so certainly not that kind of apple that pretends to be a tomato.
Lastly, just not to make a list, adding oil to already drained pasta is a mistake: if you add it, it is DURING cooking, while the pasta is cooking, so as to prevent it from sticking, especially for spaghetti which are porous .
Finally.. the butter? Butter is used in recipes such as
pasta with butter and anchovies
butter and lemon paste
butter and truffle pasta
butter and parmesan pasta, which is the most famous.
Creating that sort of gravy and reading comments from people who think it's an appetizing dish really makes me think about what is passed off as "Italianness" around the world.
That is how you turn $300 dollars worth of ingredients into $8,000 dollars worth of fancy food .

Senza che nessuno si offenda, vorrei specificare che questa è una rivisitazione coreana dei piatti italiani, che a loro gusto saranno sicuramente graditi, ma noi in Italia non mangiamo così. Ad esempio non metteremo mai funghi, pancetta e peperoni in un piatto di spaghetti al pomodoro e meno che mai i wurstel. Gli ingredienti sono troppi e nella nostra tradizione non legano tra loro, ma appartengono a piatti differenti. Non è contro la Corea che adoro e apprezzo per molti altri che motivi. 🍝
Mi offendo io a vedere pasta precotta con un parmigiano fake e pomodori lessi con funghi e pancetta schiacciati da wurstel ignoranti

Almost every restaurant I worked uses everything that people use at home. Its easy fool people 😂 and it’s easy to say no effort but 10/10 he’s pasta would taste better than someone who would cook it at home just cause one thing came from a box and another from a Can don’t mean he didn’t put effort into it y’all think y’all eating freshly made food

I piatti sono fatti bene ma la salsa di pomodoro e il pesto alla Genovese non sono fatti come facciamo noi italiani🇮🇹, il wustel è buono ma poteva benissimo evitarlo. La Vera salsa al basilico italiana( ovvero il pesto alla Genovese) ci vorrebbe anche il pecorino(oltre al grana padano che sarebbe facoltativo) e il basilico va pestato e non frullato.Riguardo la frutta secca bastano I pinoli.
Diglielo un pò!, tutti non italiani che fanno complimenti pur essendo i primi a non saper cucinare una pasta. la pasta sarà anche buona ma ha senso il titolo hahaha
La pasta cotta prima delle preparazioni è come un pugno nello stomaco...
Pasta pre cotta, ma è normale in cucina soprattutto nel caso di un ristorante. Ma son linguine, veloci e soprattutto finisce la cottura in padella ci sta. Poi magari avrei evitato qualche ingrediente nella spadellata, ma si difende bene come cuoco non Italiano.

As a 1st. generation Italian - American, Mom was an excellent cook / chef at home and at the Italian Club she managed at the kitchen and she NEVER put oil on cooked pasta. The pasta NEVER waited for the sauce, it was the sauce that waited for the pasta.

With the pasta being oiled, the sauce isn't able to adhere to the pasta because the starch is screwed up.
.
Secondly the pesto is not heated in the pan. It's placed in the pan and the warm / hot pasta is placed into it and it's warmed that way.
.
Lastly, every Italian cook puts the cheese rinds in the sauce while it's cooking. Adds flavour to it and it can be eaten, not thrown away.
