I'm from Italy and have to admit that today few people in Italy have access to quality information through mainstream channels: few people are aware of this fact, so the majority is getting the idea that the demonstrations in defense of peace and the Palestinians' right to exist are instead episodes of violent rowdies who want nothing more than to make trouble (there were infiltrators and the cameras were always nearby); this episode, however serious, was not considered by the newspapers except as a local news story, in my opinion because it would have disturbed the crazy narrative that describes Zionists as victims of violent peace movements(!), there is an evident bias in newspapers towards Israel, last but not least a whole page in the newspaper La Stampa with an interview with Daniella Weiss (I really wish I could live to see how history will describe her in 40 years). Only international foreign information channels gave the right space to this episode.
