That's awesome to hear! It took a lot of editing to cut down my 2 hour trip and all other footage to not be "boring" haha. Can't believe I had to remove the entire brake light cable to swap the rear fender, hopefully it never breaks again 😅
@@camshand I've never soldered anything, but I reckon next time you'd be tempted to just cut the cable and rejoin it with some waterproof wire connectors.
Thanks heaps for the video. I ended up finding for $799 from Jb hi-fi (3 bought but 1 had dead battery so was returned. The working ones are awesome regardless of the reviews there). Im getting almost 50km range on one but i have not tested the other one yet
Dang 50km range is great! Is that in Dynamic mode, kinda flat area? The Dual Suspension has to be the stand out for sure, I love just ripping around over bumps with ease. Plenty of fun to be had 🤙
Sorry about delay. I change between modes. To get awesome distance, if you come across any incline use the regen brake. (I even walk it up the hill and repeat. You'd be surprised at the increase in distance when you do this. Being honest I always use regeneration braking even on full charge (battery has overload protection and unless you regen for 10+ secs at high speed down a steep hill I wouldn't worry about the controller being hurt. I've done over 1500kms and still going good (scratched and busted the blinker cover but nothing that wasn't my fault) have a good one. If local Melbourne I'd be happy to help get one (I bought display units due to nothing available where I am)@@camshand

Yeap they really need to hurry up and get with the times... Personally owned escooters may reduce the issue of rentals littering footpaths in cities aswell
Oh yeah I wouldn't love spring time going up a hill at 2km/h in Dynamic 😅 And well I am just over 6' and a decent amount of muscle surrounds those metal bones 💪
Yeah I did some research on different state laws as was surprised to see Victoria just recently change theirs to state wide (used to be Melbourne CBD only for a while). Seems old transport minister wasn't too interested from what I read, hopefully some changes happen soon enough, it's a fantastic eco option for trips a bit too far to walk.
This scooter is identical to the Apollo City. I wonder what is the relationship between Daxy & Apollo? Why is Apollo rebranding their scooters in Australia?
Yeah it's very very similar. Few changes on indicator placement, and couple metal pieces of the frame are shaped differently but theres not denying there's a supplier crossover to some level

I haven't tried, tbh the sport mode gets me where I need to go.
