Considering the sheer amount of sustained field presence the chimera offers with its relay beacon I always wonder why it's not used more. Here it definitely showed how useful it can be. Give that driver a medal.
@@zoxin9293Very true. That field presence makes it a juicy target. I just love seeing guardsmen do more than scamper between the front line and base so much that I go nuts whenever I see it deployed.
The vps on maps with center line mean games end faster, it's easier for one side to push and get all three, especially early game where faction match ups are the most imbalanced. So naturally I thought it would be over quickly... a sturdy chaos victory over the frail weak guard. No, that chimera really stole chaos' easy Victory, make sure that driver gets a medal. Once the guard got their heavies, chaos... didn't respond well. Made the wrong choice and was force to hold back, but momentum was broken and chaos limped back to the warp as the guard cheered... before being excuted by the inquisition for knowing too much.
When I saw IG Vs chaos at only 27 minutes, I thought this was gonna be a chaos win and a mostly T2 game. But oh boy, keep rollin out them BBs! When I see an IG victory, there is no room for criticism! Enjoyed the cast.
Great scrap Boyz!!! Thanks for all the grim dark content! Indrid thank you good Sir for the cast as always, For the Emperor... Comments for the Comment Throne!!!
you like the video because it is great I like the video because i need to keep track of which ones i've watched we are not the same also i think its great
In always up to rooting for more IG plays! No funny mustache man this time though. The IG will have to rely on the good old fashioned way to have a chance of winning here!
I swear literally every video with Chaos player(s) has their team get off to a solid start then fall apart in tier 3 from being unable to answer enemy vehicles. And usually there is at least one Land Raider Phobos making an absolutely pitiful showing, struggling to get any clean hits on enemy vehicles before getting absolutely obliterated. So what does everyone think: is this a balance issue that should be addressed, misplay by most Chaos pilots to not make proper use of their anti-vehicle tools, or just the result of selection bias in the videos submitted/shown on this channel?
No. Chaos always had terrible faction synergies with each other. And the only faction without portable in-field reinforcements (shrine is static). For faction wars, faction synergy and player performance plays a role. If good players play together and you happened to be Chaos, you better expect yourself and your teammates to give superb performance in order to win.
As I've already mentioned, Chaos lacks mobile AV to hunt down tanks in T2. Plague marines are not very mobile. In T3 Phobos has small firing arcs intersection to shoot both lascannons so you need to put a lot of micro to get 100% firepower from your super-unit. Most of the time only one side sponson lascannon fires. Aslo it's painfully slow. Mark of Tzeench chaos Predator seems like the most viable option despite being outranged by Leman Russ Vanquisher. Just don't charge it into IG frontline with Baneblade and HWT lascannon like at the end of this video. Flanking *is* hard, especially if you're playing Chaos that front-assault crushed enemies earlier in the game. But... but there is T3 Raptors with meltaguns! Good luck trying to get through wall of IG plasma fire. Raptors melt even before chucking a meltabomb.
Firstly, Faction War is entirely different from 3v3. Secondly, 3v3 is entirely different from 1v1. Lastly, one stat cannot balance all modes of game and 1v1 is the sole focus of elite. Public service reminder. 1. All faction strength, weakness, unit abilities, stats are designed to work in 1v1 settings. 2. All modes of game share same unit stats and technically cannot be made to have different stats. When changing one, it affects all others. Only one mode can be balanced as a result. 3. Elite Mod is a 1v1 balance mod. Team games are not considered when patching. 4. In a teamgame, each faction is a tool, a part of a combination as a team. There is an OP/UP combination but not an OP/UP faction. 3 same faction teams are always easily countered.

It is not used more cuz it typically gets focused and hunted by mobile AV in T2. Plague marines aren't very mobile, are they?

fuck that was an awesome game. Sorcerer play was great but that Inquisitor had something to say about that
Love seeing great IG play! They are amazing in the hands of a good player.

*Purge the heretics! By my fury they shall know the Emperor's name!*

Love to see vehicles get used as APC's. That mobility and protection in T2 can be so effective.
Chosen of khane... Sound HERSHEY!!
Lord Comissar employe of the month
Chaos was about to win, but the will of the Imperium was unstoppable

Great use of the "Chimera", it's really a bad idea use offensively, she is surprisingly fragile

Good
I should have bought like 3 welfare (storm)troopers with all that req I had 😅
Chaos always lose in 3v3
Because chaos can’t let their allies win
