Hi sis, climate depend pani namma dry agrathuku time kudukanum even though namma room temperature la vecha. Summer season na 4 to 5 days maximum room temperature layea kaya vechidalam, ithuvea winter na 7 days varikum dry pana vidunga. Maximum 1 to 2 days la outer part full ah dry ana mari than irukum but inner inside clayum dry aganum so atleast 4 to 5 days dry aganum. For pendant(4 to 5 days) and small studs( 2 to 3 days) and jhumka ( 3 to 4 days).
My opinion for beginner is air dry clay because there will be no breakage and we can easily make jewellery with few steps kneading, designing, making, drying time (24hours) ,painting ,assembling and varnishing(mandatory). In natural terracotta clay kneading( important to remove air bubbles), designing, making, drying time(4 to 6 days) ,baking or firing(time consuming and also breakage might happen),painting ,assembling and varnishing(optional).

Yes u can do basic type only and also it will have more shrinkage. And u cant expect results like jewellery made from terracotta.

Hello, Sis. How many hours or days we need to dry for making stud? I got natural clay from the shop.
