Nigel-I’ve been watching your development of this forest for years now and the ramification and movement you have achieved using clip and grow is amazing. Your work inspired me to develop my own larches and I now have 2 forests, one Japanese larch and one American plus several stand alone trees of both species. Thanks for your guidance-Larry
Now this is a forest and a half. Nigel, you sure know how to grow authentic looking forests that you would see in nature. Pruning is in your blood. Excellent!
What a wonderful forest, so realistic! I recently watched all your playlist about it and I loved it. I'm just wondering why your larches don't have cones, is it something genetic or do they have to be cultivated in some specific way?

The Larch Forest looks tidy. I'm looking forward to part two!
Such an inspiring forest, and such masterful maintenance. Thanks for giving us all a walk through your Larch forest.
Glad you enjoyed it!
My favourite playlist and the one that hooked me onto your channel...way back then. Happy Easter Nigel :)
I so love that forest! Great video Nigel!
I just dug up six larches from a shale pit today, so I’m very excited to have something like this to look forward to in the future I hope.
the quality of the video looks amazing!
So much good information...Thanks for sharing your thoughts and decision making process...
verry verry nice forest nigel verry nice !
Very good detailed commentary. A piece of plain card inserted behind the tree/branch you're talking about would help a lot.
Thanks, I have 2 Larch seedlings hope to make them into great trees your help is great to have.
Beautiful forest
For cleaning the debris on the landscape I snatched my eldest daughter's spare comb cleaning brush. It's like a tiny soft rake, and works quite well 👍
Truly a masterpiece. Thanks keep growing
Ramification 👌🏻👌🏻
I love this forest, it's the most realistic forest planting I've seen...❤❤❤

Tbh unless you repot it you shouldn’t touch the ground on this one I mean it actually look like a real forest like 1 to 1
I'm from Mississauga. Where do I find larch trees?
They can usually be found at the bonsai show sales tables or you can order seedlings on line, but you have to get about 50!!
You can also collect them, if you get permission from a land owner!
