Their responsibility and risk is far greater. They have to risk their lives everyday trying to make a kill. About 1 out of 5 attempts are successful. Lionesses have a lot of pressure. They are badass.

    Part of me loves seeing the animals, but part of me is annoyed beyond words at the dramatic spin put on things.
    Lion Cubs are dangerously curious and in amongst their pride fear very little. The way it’s narrated, it paints a picture of a cub who purposefully seeks a bond with his dad …. Yadda yadda.
    No. They seek a bond primarily with mom and siblings first. And unless given a very blatant reason not to, they don’t hesitate to walk right up to an adult lion they’ve never met. Even if the mom is defensive and trying to keep Cubs away, they have little fear.
    Generally, in a pride with more than one male, they’ll all mate with the females in estrus. So none of them know who is dad versus uncle. In the rare situation where only one of the males mates with a lioness, that may be a different story. Keep in mind, the juvenile males are generally driven out of the pride by the dominant males. Coalitions tend to be brothers, half brothers, cousins and occasionally strangers. There are certainly the times where the dominant male will leave the pride or be driven out in a takeover. Some of the strongest coalitions formed that way, but I don’t believe it’s a regular occurrence, probably depends on territory, pride size, etc.
    The point of my complaint is people love slapping human emotion and perspective on animals. When you see a lone lioness take down an animal almost as big as she is, then watch her drag this thing a mile through swamp and marsh to allow her Cubs to eat, it’s not an internal debate within her. She’s not sitting there thinking “these little brats better appreciate what I do for them! No. She has focus! Top priority: she must eat to stay alive in order to raise her cubs. Second: she has to do whatever takes to feed, protect and care for her cubs.
    Lions don’t have pity parties. They don’t have expectation. They certainly have emotion… don’t get me wrong on that! When you see a lone lioness willing to take on two, full grown males in order to defend her cubs, that is 100% momma lion!
    End point: they do what they have to do to survive and ensure they have offspring to continue the bloodline. It’s amazing what can be done when it’s all you know!

      As far as I remember the cub was fine. He grouped up with his 3 male cousins to form a coalition.

    الله يرحم ابوي و امي و يسكنهم فسيح جناته.. لكن اذا في ناس يحبونا و يعتبرونا اولادهم. نسألهم ان يرفعون عننا الاذيه و الظلم و العذاب و الالم و الاوجاع الي يسلطونه علينا و حتى في النوم يأذونا.. و يكفي الي عملوه فينا من اذيه و نكد و عكد و كيف ضيقوا علينا الارض بما رحبت و كيف خلونا مجانين و لا نسوى رجال. و خلونا نشك في الناس كلها. تكلمول علينا و تنمروا علينا و على مرضنا. و عملوا بنا الهوايل. ارفعوا عننا البلاء يا مسلمين. و ان با تنقذونا من الوضع الي احنا فيه و تعطونا حريتنا و اجنحتنا و تنعمون علينا بالجنسيه بتعملون معروف.

    Ya know for people to be so smart scientists sure are stupid. It's not some kind of manipulation that drives cubs to seek approval from their male pride members. It's their father and their uncle, and they look up to them, and LOVE them! Just like the father very obviously LOVES his cubs, and so does the uncles, aunts, grandmother's, mothers, they genuinely love each other. You don't fight to your death for something just bc they played with your tail a couple of times, but you do so bc those are your family and they love them.

      I hope you realize this is exactly how it is for people to. Emotions like love exist to create bonds that increase chances of mutual survival and companionship for satisfying lives. The scientists are entirely correct, and it applies to humans as well.

      @skittles3310 Рік тому

      @@tophat7735 No I'm sorry but they're not entirely correct. You can't put love for someone under a microscope, or on a slide, and you can't measure it. It isn't just chemistry. Science will never be completely capable of explaining things such as love, or the soul of a person or an animal, bc they're not meant to. You can try all you like to be scientific, calculating everything, and measuring precisely what you find, documenting what you do learn, but some things have to be FELT. Some things need to be EXPERIENCED, not explained. With everything scientists have learned throughout their existence, they're still in the year 2022, saying that the love between a lion pride is nothing more than the nature of their survival instincts. Anyone with a little bit of life experience, and some common sense, can just watch these lions, (or any other animals who love each other) and see quite clearly that they have very genuine love for each other. You can see that they have a soul, a personality, and that they have something that is deeper than just survival instincts, and manipulative mannerisms. Just bc those things cannot be qualified, doesn't mean they're not real. Just bc our brains produce chemicals, and scientists think that explains everything, doesn't mean they're right either. Scientists will absolutely never, EVER explain certain things about existence, bc they can't, they're just not smart enough. Hell they can't even prove half of the crap that they have been claiming since scientists began science. All they do is consistently prove other scientists wrong. They theorize, and they pat each other on the backs, as long as they are in agreement with the majority. They're every single bit as corrupt as any politician that has ever existed!

    SI PERDEMIS LA NATURALEZA
    NOS PERDEMOS A NOSOTROS MISMOS.
    NO EXISTE LA OPCIÓN "SIN LA NATURALEZA"
    SOLO ES POSIBLE "CON LA NATURALEZA", LO UNICO QUE NOS IMPIDE ESTA POSIBILIDAD SON LAS GRANDES CORPORACIONES Y EMPRESAS QUE SE HAN ACOSTUMBRADO A QUE TODO SEA BENEFICIO, Y EL PLANETA Y LA VIDA NO SOPORTA MAS EXPLOTACIÓN, SIMPLEMENTE LLEGARÁ EL DÍA EN QUE TODO ESTO SE PARARÁ... Y LOS RESPONSABLES YA SE HAN HECHO CON BUNKERES PARA CAPEAR EL TEMPORAL, PENSANDO QUE VA A SER COSA DE UNOS MESES... PERO VA A SER UN DESCENSO A LOS INFIERNOS Y DE ESTA NO NOS VA A SACAR NADIE SOLO NOSOTROS MISMOS, HACIENDO ALGO RADICAL YAAAAAA
