OK but let’s think this out 1. Who gets to decide the person is mentally ill(how many doctors have to agree). Can your husband,employer or relatives report you for “odd” behavior 2. What meds will be prescribed, a government awarded contract for lowest cost meds or will any med no matter how expensive be authorized,and what if the meds don’t work.
3. How will these institutions and employees be paid and will those costs be leveraged to a contractor with the lowest bid and lowest educated,experienced and qualified workers. 4. Will you also ask for a system to be put in place to protect these “vulnerable” population from abuse and neglect and ensure to limit any profitability exploitation by corporations. I could go on but my point is it is not as simple as being medicated.
