I was shooting my Hunter Ex Pro today.. It has 300 shots on it and really tight with Baracuda 15. I did the trigger screw mod and it made a world of difference. Nice video.
Air rifles are funny. I've got a new Hunter Extreme Pro also with the trigger screw mod that has maybe a few hundred shots in it. Out of all of my .22 pellets, it hates the Baracuda 15s the most. It'll shoot lights out with CPHPs, Baracuda 18 and Dead Center 16.08 though.
Same with my 25 XTR , it likes the H&N 20.06 grain , also did the trigger screw mod .

Just got the .25,incredible accuracy out of the box and I can hardly wait until the barrel has seasoned. Good review,like your style!!😂
Angie, please shoot a pop can full of water with both . You will see the difference in impact. Its a poor mans ballistic jell. From my personal experience the 25 has less recoil and more FPE.
Almost 1000shots thru my Extreme Pro.22 and I can hit a 2.5” spoon at 50yards (with a scope) every time. So happy I bought one when they were available. I see Vortek is offering a Bionic piston upgrade for some Gamo rifles, and soon for the 33mm magnums like these 2 airguns use.
I have the gamo magnum GR in .25 I've seen another UA-cam video and a guy was able to get like 33 foot pounds out of it with the h&n hunter pellets pretty awesome things these break barrels are capable these days. Great video!
They sure do! I have the Hunter Extreme Pro .22 and get over 28 fpe with the 16.08 grain JTS Dead Centers and the 14.3 grain CPHPs.
Why it's so difference in fpe in .22?

Tried the JSB Exact Kings 25.39 grain in my XTR 25 but it didn't seem to be happy with them ? The next pellet was the H&N 20.06 grain and now I think its in love . Maybe after break-in I will retry the JSB's . The wood stocks are awesome . Im glad the pickle on the end was deleted on the 25 . Would have been nice if they used the bull barrel design from previous years like my Extreme .177 caliber.
I'm glad I got my Pro when I did. GamoUSA discontinued it according to their site. I'm still waiting for more indepth review of the Ultimate. However the Arrow Classic is really tempting me right now. 😅
That's some sad news as the Hunter Extreme Pro's are quit nice. Was shooting mine the other day. I forgot how good the trigger is with a simple screw mod. I swear it's right their with the Rekord triggers. I was just shooting the HW95 before and was expecting to adjust to the trigger on the Hunter Extreme, but instead it was perfect. I use the JSB 15.89's in mine and can shoot dime size groups at 25 yards most the time. Still a bit out of practice, but been shooting a lot the last few weeks and getting there.
Is the .22 for sale? I’d like to buy it?
