i had a webley patriot in 25 cal i took a good few fox with it sold it for a career 707 in 22 cal hated having to carry a pump in my backpack to fill on them long treks only just found these vids excellent shooting makes me want to go back to airguns.
I've been carrying guns and hunting since I was 10 years old, 58 now. I guess I've gotten softer over the years but where I never cared much for seeing animals suffer for any reason, I really don't care for it now days. I tend to get a little ill when I see people taking stupid careless shots with no empathy at all for the animals they're hunting. And just the opposite with sigh of relief and all due respect for the people that make their best effort for an efficient and respectful kill. Nice shot Keith Warren. You have my respect sir.

Keith shot placement is the thing that makes hunting BEAUTIFUL!! No long walking tracking because I shot so bad. The animal doesn’t have stress, he’s just stretched out, with a quickness. I enjoy watching you use originally GIANT KILLERS from Crossman Technology to score pig animals. We used to shot at each other, but just the legs down when I was 7-8. Killing Bullfrogs, and Cottonmouths. These Air Rifles are much stronger but it’s Great to see that the effectiveness wasn’t forgotten and they have built a Rifle that competes with regular Ammo. In response to the negative comment on the Hatsan. I have a 125 Sniper in .25. With a Centerpoint scope and JSBs it shot a dime size group at 25 yards right out of the box and will go through a one inch pressure treated board at 25 yards.
I have the Hatsan 135 QE Vortex in .25 cal. If you haven't, try the H&N Hornet pellets. Nothing can stand up to 29 FPE from this ballistic hollow point, out to 50 yards

Stood it up like a bad date. Loved seeing that. I was leary about knocking one down with my .25 at first,but I understand bullet placement and vitals. So knowing those things and at 25 yds I got confident and took me a nice eating hog.

Great shot placement!! Those are good for hunting these feral hogs for sure. How speedy are you for setting up the next shot? If there were a lot of them, theyd run away as quick as possible , and if it were me, id want another shot at them if its at all possible to get one.
You should try dieseling your air rifle. Just get some Vicks vapor rub and load the rifle as you normally would, but then take a little Vicks and smear it into the cavity of the pellet skirt after it's seated in the barrel. You'll get about 40% more power and velocity because the menthol in the Vicks actually ignites under pressure just like diesel does. It will also be quite a bit louder so be prepared. I've only done this with my 177 and 22 caliber air rifles but I'd like to see how good it works with the larger caliber rifles.

I have the Hatsan 135 QE Vortex in .25 cal and i use the Leapers UTG 4-16X50 with high mounts. Holds zero and has a lighted reticle for low light shooting situations, plus it has resettable zero. After you sight the gun in, you can set the numbers to zero for getting back to your zero if you make adjustments for longer ranges or different pellets. I've had that scope for 3 years without any problems.

Wow, that was an awesome demonstration of the .25 caliber pellet's power. I have seen another video where the .22 and .25 calibers were compared and the .25 killed so much more efficiently, so much quicker than the .22. I don't know how you feel about it, but it just seems more humane and provides better kill and shot probability for the shooter and seems more humane in it's ability to kill quicker. You're very careful and responsible for your kills and an impressive shot. Great videos. Just a side note, I have an old Benjamin in .20 caliber and while the pellets are available for it and other rifles, the Benjamin 392 in .20 is no longer being made, which is a shame because for a short pump it shoots great. I am planning to get a .22 to add to my collection, but I love the .20 caliber Benjamin.

Did you replace the trigger? Gamos have quite the most horrible triggers on the market. Spent a lot of money to get my BigCat 1250 to be considered a nail-driver.

Needs to be legal in TX. Airgun is perfect for turkey. You hit, you get all the meat with no carnage. You miss, then turkey gets another chance.

You do have to be careful. The scope on this rifle came with the GAMO.
You have to buy a mount to keeps shots accurate on almost any springer
