In an exclusive interview with the South China Morning Post, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad talks extensively about his stance when it comes to China. He had previously criticised former prime minister Najib Razak for "selling off" Malaysia to Beijing.
Mahathir also talks about Malaysian politics, and the suggestion that his Pakatan Harapan coalition could be vulnerable when it comes to the Malay vote.
Well it took 3 interviewer, to interview our national treasure,
Which happen to be 92 years old.
But he spoke like a 29 yr, but with the wisdom of a 92,

We had attended your Langkawi Dialogue about the Smart Partnership of Malaysia with African Countries during your 22 years rule. Today ,all the African countries are smart partners of China and are progressing and doing well.
In addition, many Asean / Asian countries are smart partners of China including Japan and Korea, we hope you and your new government would welcome Chinese Investments to Malaysia to grow together and improve the standards of livings of Malaysians.
So the BRI is his idea ? Looks like the Americans are also angry with him. LOL

What i respect is that he go out to go against Najib, Admit his past mistake & try to fix what is wrong in Malaysia. He is 93 Years Old & already half a step to the grave but for Malaysia he take on the post once again.

When reporters asked him, upon completion of the Petronas twin towers, "what about (another soon-to-be-completed taller building)? Will it not be taller than the twin towers?" He answered "they have one, we have two"

Great questions great interviews! 😊 I love that Tun give all his answers fully compact, no hiding at all. He takes his time in answering and simple, straight to the point. Compared to the questions asked in PC these are great questions 💞
Placing Malaysia n Malaysian workers interests first instead of a regional power is not anti china, but is a trait of a good leader. On the other hand, if Malaysian company only want to hire Malaysian workers and Malaysian management while operating in China, it will meet with loud protest from the regime and facing many legal issues too. It is just plain silly to say he is anti China just because he disagree with those unfair practices and discriminatory policy toward hiring of local workers n want procurement of materials from China only while undertake government Mega Billion construction projects as Anti.....; it is also quite silly for the media to classify those huge amount of loans borrowed from China to undertake dozen of contruction projects as 'chinese investment' instead of 'national debts'.

I agree, Tun. As a Singaporean, i dont like immigrant to come here. Singapore government jobs are all taken over by immigrants. Singapore government like that BS and leaving many Singaporeans finding hard to look for a job. My work is always contract and will have to keep looking for one perm is not easy. My director from my department is a Chinese, Singaporean PR. So unfair. Singapore is a majority Chinese nation so it's normal that the minorities like me got looked low by the majority. Now, i question my status as a local here.

The "New Theory of Justice" that Mahathir expressing here, as an iintellectual, had claimed to be the voice of the people - the champions of democracy and of unlimited majority rule.
"Majority" was the omnipotent word of this intellectual theology. "Majority's will" and "majority welfare were his moral base and political goal which - he claimed - permit , vindicate and justified anything.
The reason why he had remained relevant, is only by default - by intellectual default - that theories such as this can prevail.
If rational men do not rebel, this egalitarian will succeed- succeed in coruppting and paralyze man's mind.
This egalitarian's purpose is to shackle and paralyze the man of ability even at the price of distroying the country.
I am a fan. Anyone at the level of being an actual, active politician that is leading a country and has the balls to name the Jew has my admiration. He speaks the truth about immigration as well. Was recently in Japan, what a wonderful country, amazing people who are able to keep a modicum of the standards of living that they have, despite technically being in a recession for the past 25 years, they keep the immigration very strict and their infrastructure shows it. They still have very clean cities with efficient, punctual trains, buses, airplanes, etc. It's refreshing to go there when I am coming from supposedly the most powerful nation in the world: America... where there are increasing tent encampments on the streets, where I step over trash, excrement and used heroin needles on a daily basis. So if Malaysia is going to try its best to maintain a strict immigration policy, then all the better for them. Our 'sanctuary' cities in the US are festering with homelessness, illegal aliens, crime and filth.
Yes what Tun’s saying makes great sense. China has gained great respect from other countries in particular Trump is in deep shit now. China must to gain more respect by not employing only Chinese ( from China) but must employ and train the local populace wherever it is making any investment. Chinese organisations my have HR that understand this issue/ initiative.
