Great video, you two! Did anyone else enjoy watching the clouds expand and then retract? When there were 3 Lauras, the clouds didn't jump around like mad. Great editing, Aaron! Loved...loved the make-over of the pots. I do understand feeling unsettled over 1 spiral going in the opposite direction when doing an arrangement. These 4 look great!

As much as I love black in the garden, I nearly suffered apoplexy at the thought of you painting your concrete pots. Very relieved to learn they are resin. They look lovely and crisp, perfect for Spring with those pretty, buttery pansies decorating the bases of the topiaries. Looking forward to seeing the barn go white. I hate when people get they're, their, and there wrong, and to, too, and two! It is very distracting while reading and you see it all the time! It must drive English teachers even more crazy! =D

I've gardened for years on a limited budget and have spray painted pots for quite a while. What a wonderful and budget friendly way to give new life to tired pots and to create a unified feel throughout the garden with similar looking planters. Loved the editing here as well, Aaron!

Yes, you inspired me. The former owners of our house left this huge ugly ceramic planter in the backyard. It bothered me every time I walked by it, but it wouldn't fit a trash can even if I wanted to throw it away. I saw the last time you painted your planters and thought what the heck. So I painted it black and I love it now! I planted an apple tree in it and flowers at the base. Thank you!

Love the way those planters turned out - so fresh to the eye and perfect for their location! Just wanted to chime in on the editing - you've definitely upped you game with the music and new effects, and I understand there's so much less to work with visually in the early spring, but I just want to cast a vote for still slowing down and zooming in a little bit on occasion and taking us along for the whole ride, especially out in the garden. What might seem old or boring to you guys now is what brought us to GA in the first place. Laura's color and textures sense and the way Aaron's focused so beautifully on the process and the flowers is a big part of what's so satisfying to watch - and yes, we really can watch flowers go in the ground and flourish in your care over and over and over again! Part of what's so unique and enjoyable is Laura's spontaneous encyclopedic knowledge AND occasionally rambling commentary or disaster fix throughout the process. Please don't feel that you ever need to or should justify what you're doing - we're lucky you take us along for the ride. I just wanted to point out there's tons of slick, fast paced video out there, and plenty of pretty pictures in shallow garden magazines. What makes GA so special to us is exactly that you're NOT those things. Keep doing whatever makes you both interested and challenged by the process - just don't ever feel like you're boring us with an occasional ramble around the garden or images of yet more plants going in the dirt. We love to watch you grow. :)

I am so inspired and excited to paint my pots! Yesterday I purchased a few plants for my back covered porch and I wasn’t happy with my pot selection. Now I can go back with “new eyes” and.find some pots that I can spray paint to match my furniture. Thanks for the great money saving idea!

It looks so good! I think it needed the black with all the light gravel, the light colored barn, white doors, etc. The black grounds everything and just looks amazing! The spirals look so good too! I will admit that I am not always the biggest fan of those tight topiaries. I prefer a more cottage style, loose structure to things but I LOVE these! You did an amazing job.

Ive been doing the same thing on a smaller level! Being stuck at home, everyday I paint another terracotta pot for my houseplants. I decided im not a fan of new looking terracotta so I’m leaving the already distressed ones alone and painting all the new looking ones. Great way to keep entertained and change up the look of your space when stuck inside!
