So, I checked out the listing. They are listed as "away", that particular guitar (and the only one and color currently listed) is "unavailable", and the two 1 star reviews say that they never got their orders and could not get a response from the seller.

3 Brothers Guitars definitely picked the right guy to introduce their new brand. The guitar sounds amazing. The combinations and differences in tones and sounds achieved with these pickups is impressive. It can't be by accident. I'm very pleasantly surprised at how great the cleans are. I wasn't expecting that. The neck work, frets, and fretwork as well as overall fit and finish is another unexpected bonus! While I totally understand why you mentioned it, the Strat style bridge fits me and my playing style perfectly so what to some might be a minus for me is another plus. On a lighter note, the logo on the headstock definitely brought a smile to my face! Thank you for another fantastic review, demo, and video. Please keep them coming, Max!

@@wingnutmcspazatron3957 I think that what's going on with guitars, as well as rifle scopes, and probably a boatload (literally) of other products that I don't know as much about, is that pretty much anybody can approach a guitar or whatever other sort of factory in china with a set of specs and an idea for branding, and if they think your plans are viable, or if they don't care at all, and just need you to pony up some cash for an initial production run, you can start up a brand of something. Maybe you'll hit the bigtime, but if a lot of other people are trying to do exactly the same thing in exactly the same way, it's probably tough to be anything more than a momentary blip on the radar. I expect you'll be seeing lots of very similar guitars under a variety of brand names. If you follow the link to the reverb page for 3 brothers guitars, you'll see that there's another company called "3 Nails Custom Guitars" It's going to be about like the cottage gun industries in Belgium and Spain in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, which cranked out huge volumes of small cheap revolvers and "Ruby" type automatic pistols. But winking in and out of existence like fireflies.

@@ooloncaluphid umm that means basically low, low resale value in the future, if the company does not exist for long. is that right? even G&L guitars did not previously get the same resale values as even lower quality fenders and that was because of lack of brand recognition/quality recognition.

Not a fan of super strats, but man I freaking love this one!!! It looks so quality and yeah bridge humbuckers are what they are but it does a great job with those glassy, shimmery, strat sounds with whatever they are using for their single coils set up! Absolutely rocks! Probably the last guitar I’d ever spend money on but if I was independently wealthy I’d run out and get one. Today’s guitar landscape is bright with so many brands some mainstream and some not so mainstream, but one thing is clear about ALL of them…they all use the same machinery. CNC machines and computer aided carpentry can dial in a guitar schematics to a tenth of a millimeter. You’re wasting $ paying 3x just to have a brand name. The design and construction of guitars that are selling for under $500 is the exact same machined construction that big names are using. They’re overcharging you because they’re ridding on the history of the name, fooling new players that it’s the only way to get a “Real” guitar. It’s such a joke out here anymore..there are $400 guitars with the sound quality , construction quality ALONG with the quality control at the factory that sound, feel and play better than a $1500-2500 guitar selling themselves as a “Brand Name” shame on them and shame on the new crop of players that try to discredit them without ever doing the research. I own 27 different guitars, names you will know like Ibanez, Gibson, Fender Jackson, Gretsch, yet I can honestly say I own and play WOLF LP that friends have played as well and a unanimous opinion that this $450 LP is everything my Gibson LP is and that was over $2000. There are so many quality opportunities now and you can’t judge them or pass false info to noobs if you haven’t got the facts. Its just not fair to them if your filling their heads with what those brand name guitar company executives and sales managers want you to fill them
      With…hype and lies

One other comment... Max's (perfectly valid) opinion on bridges is basically double-locking or nothing... But let's face it, there's a learning curve to double-locking trems, and some things that used to be easy (changing strings, tuning) become a pain in the butt. So I think there is a big segment of players (like myself) that don't really do 3 step dive bombs or any EVH style whammy bar theatrics, and just like the option to be able to add some gentle tremolo to the sound of chords or notes. This kind of bridge is perfect for that kind of player. That's probably why they are still so widespread.

I have to differ with you on a 2 point tremolo bridge. Those are vastly superior to the vintage 6 point version and your other option is a Floyd Rose which is a pain in the ass. A little lube on the nut and saddles and they will hold tune just fine. You don’t get the range of dive bombs you do with a Floyd, but they are easier to setup, easier to change strings and less prone to pulling other strings out of tune if you strum with a heavy hand, which Floyds have a real problem with.

I remember years ago a few guitar players in my area needed work done on their strats and i found that the whammy bar had broken and some of it broke and remained in the guitar. I figured out how to get it out, but after that it seemed like I kept seeing this happen more and more. Steered me away from those trems for sure. Dont get me wrong, I have no idea how someone could break their whammy bar off playing it. But maybe I guess over screwing it in ? I never asked how it happened haha. I just fixed it.

I wouldn't call those "Straight-Up Jumbo" frets. They may be tall frets (for easier note-bending & finger-vibrato). But, they aren't the "railroad-track" massive, wide frets, intended mainly for bass guitars, which I think could also be described as "Straight-Up Jumbo" frets. But, in fairness, as your phrasing suggested, fret-wire manufacturers haven't precisely standardized their industry's descriptive terms!

Reminds me of the shape of the Michael Kelly strat style of guitars. They also have a thin C neck. Hmmm..... And I agree the neck is essential for me. I prefer the PRS pattern neck, so I would probably find this guitar's neck to thin.

I don't like when a guitar looks really nice and the knobs look cheap, I know it's just a personal thing but it throws off the aesthetic.
It sounds great tho and it's a great video as always 🤘

What kind of knobs would you prefer?

    • @TheLinkszal75
      @TheLinkszal75 2 роки тому +1

@@GuitarMAXMusic depends on the guitar/finish but I like speed knobs and dome knobs. With the guitar in the video I think some metal dome knobs would go a long way.
It's a personal opinion but I think that the cheap looking knobs take away from the nice finishes like this quilt top.

@@GuitarMAXMusic they mean less plastic knobs I'm assuming. Completely something that can be changed after you buy one, but hey he still prefers the seat covers that came in the escort Gramma had in the car she gave him. Oh boy.

question from a person that doesn't know a lot about the technical aspects of guitars and music equipment in general... for someone who does not really use a whammy bar, is this still a good buy option, or does this really not matter much?

Stunning looking and sounding guitar with high quality parts and for me an all important slim neck profile
    with a Rosewood fretboard.
The icing on the cake is the price, if only you didn't have to pay import charges and 20% VAT in the UK.
Still great value, imagine what it would cost with a known name on the headstock.
It reminds me of the Eart E-3S that i have in a similar finish, it even makes me think that these guitars
may be made in the same factory.
China can make excellent guitars if you keep away from the budget models.
Thanks for your excellent demo, my fingers are itching to buy one.

Soloking is a guitar of the same quality and price. It’s an Indonesian brand, made in China. I had a strat model. It was not bad but the locking tuners are not the best, same as the bridge. Other specs about Soloking are quite good

If you are not sure whether you’ll like it or not then I recommend to buy a used guitar in good condition first. If you have more questions about this guitar I am glad to help you 🙏

For fans of super strats, it's very cool (and competition is usually good for the consumer) but it seems like this is a more expensive Harley Benton Fusion? What really separates this from HB?
