I like this model more than the oracle touch. It seems easier to adjust settings. I’ve seen videos of the oracle touch where the touchscreen is a bit laggy but the oracle shows the temp/ foam level immediately when it’s on, love that feature
@@ecscoffeeinc What is the turn off time?( For example in the Barista Pro is 30 minutes).is it adjustable also? It's so shameful that i have to give up the manually grinding and tamping.. I guess the solution is to purchase a seperate grinder.
I must’ve been doing something wrong, because when I turned it on & pressed the hot water button it made noise but didn’t have the water run out the outlet. Do I need to change any settings or anything else? Thank you for your help
Hey Jen, that shouldn't happen - I am wondering how old your machine is, and when was the last time you performed a descale? Also, are you able to get steam from the steam wand, or is it just the water spout that is not dispensing water?

This machine makes some of the best coffee I've ever had. No need to use that touch BS, just dial-in whatever you are drinking on this bad boy and stick with it. My only complaint is that there is one adjustment you can make on the underside of the grinding mechanism that isn't at all obvious or super clear to a new user which affects how much coffee will be in your portafilter, which is pretty important when getting dialed-in obviously.
@@ecscoffeeinc So I run a light roast at about 21 grams of beans in for double shot, at 96 degrees celsius, with a grin size of 12 on this machine it comes up decent but needs improvement slightly. Do you have similar settings when you run light roasts? On this machine?
How many shots can you do consecutively without losing too much heat? I guess the best way to ask is how long should you wait before pulling another shot? thanks
On the EU version of this machine, the "Auto Off" function has been removed. Instead, the machine turns off after 15 minutes of inactivity. It's really annoying.

Does the advertised height of 17.8" include the bean hopper or is it without the hopper?
Is it have manually tamping and grinding?
And else do they have Celsius and 24 hours clock settings?
The tamping and grinding is all automatic. The clock is adjustable! Yes you can adjust to celsius :)

Yes! The Oracle has a dedicated hot water outlet (with hot water button) that you can use to get just hot water :)

Ok got the right receipt on this machine finallg for my light roast 1:2.5 ratio 26 seconds plus 12seconds pre infuse. 38 second total shot :)

I was wondering about how to determine the amount of coffee - because that is not touched upon in this video.
so for $600 USD extra of the Oracle Touch is just the inclusion of a touch screen? no better performance?
The quality of the drink will be the same, it is a just a little more work and know how to get there :)
Does it do with well with light roasted beans? I know alot of these automatic machines can’t do light roasted beans they have to do medium or dark
Light roast is good! You do not want to use a dark roast bean in here

@@pkerry12 The grind setting we have will not be reflective of what you will have at home. How long is your espresso pouring for?

You could brew another shot right away, however it is rated for home use only so it is only able to brew a "home amount" of espresso drinks.
I've made several in a row when I have guests and never noticed any issues in quality.
