I went to school with Clint. We avoided working in History class pretty much every day. Was a HUGE fan of his first bands, Sirius & Quiet Thunder. I even had an old army jacket with SIRIUS written all over it at least 1,000 times.
I'm a drummer and absolutely love this band and was devastated when he left 7D. Sonny Mayo is a hell of a player but the band lost something when Clint left. As soon as I read he rejoined I couldn't wait for the next album with his playing. Such a gifted player and talent makes the whole band sound better as any true 7D fan will tell you this lineup is Sevendust and that's why we love them so much, no one can replace them!
Underrated and amazingly talented dude right here. \m/ Love and support anything that any of the members of Sevendust put out.
Still Rain brought me here! Go Clint !!!
Love ya Clint! You are a one hell of a man, can't wait to see this! Congrats!
Underrated and talented as fuck. Need to watch the whole DVD.

I must have this
Will we ever get a Still Rain reunion?
From what song is that riff at 0:25?
Mountain from Sevendust's album Black Out The Sun.
@ Robert Turner: "Biggest Fan" is the song. It's from his side project Call Me No One
yes
Sevendust was my 3rd favorite band since Home came out and I really got into it (Can't beat Queen and Metallica, sorry) , when Clint left the band it wasn't the same. And I hit that mark at 30 where 'being into bands' wasn't a priority anymore. I listened to Sevendust's albums after that but was very lukewarm to them. Maybe one or two songs were good.
Eventually I had a job doing mind numbing shit and I could listen to music, so I picked up 'Hope and Sorrow' and then 'Cold Day Memory'. H&S took a few listens but I enjoyed it. Cold Day Memory was my jam first listen. Not surprised that was the album they recorded after Clint rejoined the band. Whatever it was he brings to Sevendust, that album was it on steroids.
Haven't seen them live in 10 years. Real bummer they had to bail on our regional "rock show" this summer. Hope everything is all good and they keep rocking.
I remember hearing black and i was like what the f××k is that sound in the beginning and when i watched a live version of the song Clint was playing it and from there i was like this guy is a guitar God
Wish he still played the intro like that. Now they use the track from the album.
My most favorite songs you bet sevendust numbs
one more time... :)
What's the song at 0:25??
Mountain
Maybe Clint is not such a technically advanced player in comparison with guys like Paul Gilbert or Guthrie Govan , but he has his own style and so damn inspiring 7dust stuff. Those riffs remained distinctive footprints in a whole genre.
Being technically proficient is overrated as it's worthless if you can't write good songs which is what most technical players lack; songwriting skills.
Song at 0:51 ?
+AJ Connolly song call BLACK
He's one of the hottest band members!
Anyone know the name of the song at the end of this clip?
its definitely something off his Call Me No One album with Morgan .. it might be called Biggest Fan but its been awhile since i heard the album - cant quite remember.
t malcolm yes it is. Thanks bro. I need to check out the album. I just watched the extra dvd of cold day memory can't believe that was 5 years ago!!!
Robert Turner man i lost my copy of CDM with the dvd soo long ago but it was one of the coolest looks inside any band. Great bunch of guys
t malcolm yes they truly are. I met them in nyc bought the vip tickets. Kinda sucked because we had to meet them at the end of the show and the workers rushed us out of the venue to close it so fn fast. But the guys are just awesome. Always said if I won the lottery I'd give them a million to play a show for me. Lol. And a select few to get a good pit going.
ROFL! Welcome to the show... LOL!
anyone know the song from :18-:24?
Decay.
@@ZakkiLowe thanks!
CALL ME NO ONE is his other band.
If one of the blonde kids in the picture was John, DAMN we have the same genes! I was born blonde and I'm the hairy one in the family more than my dad and more than my brothers (except for the face a bit). And John was also blonde and became a hairy guy!
the blonde kids in the picture are Clint and his brother Corey
craigime Yeah. And when they grew up they all got dark brown/black hair and hairy enough in the body. That's just the way I look at it because I'm the same about it too.
Yves Heinrich to be honest, growing up around dark-haired people my whole life, i only ever had one blonde friend so I'm not sure... do some blonde kids' hair change colour?
craigime I don't think so... It's unlikely unless you know the person pretty well I guess. I was born blonde and became the most hairy person in the house. The thing is I got hairy due to genetics. I mostly got my genetics from my mother which she's Russian and that side of the family are hairy unlike my Dad's side who's Romanian, I guess he wasn't born that hairy genetically.
Yves Heinrich
well yea i don't mean being hairy... i meant like clint and his brother were born blondes and to my knowledge they don't dye their hair- yet their hair is a dark brown now.... i also work with a guy who's fairly blonde and says his hair changes colour with the seasons... it sounds crazy but i wouldn't know because i grew up completely around drak-haired people.
