This is really great, back at guitar after a 20 hiatus ... just gave me great ideas about how to intermingle riffs, power chords, chord fragments all the while using the whole neck of the guitar in one song.
this is one of those times where in about 2 months you're gonna hear this track when its finally done, and a huge smile is gonna come across your face. i cant wait
I would love to see a build video of Sevendust making a song that ends with the actual song...this was a great behind the scene video. Thank you for posting it.
This is my favorite song idea of the ones they've posted so far. The riffs are all really promising, and the balance between heaviness/melodic elements as well as interesting rhythms and dissonant intervals. Plus it's kinda proggy and super epic. And I think LJ could put some sick vocals over this. I agree with whoever said "I smell a single."
This video got me so excited about the new 7D album that I went to buy their CD today! March 20 instead of April 20. My eyes just saw the 20 on the calendar and I got dressed and headed to the store. 30 more days....damn it!
those were released a while back and only in a few colors, this is one of those colors plus it looks a little beefier which a baritone is longer than a regular guitar.
@inflames2233 Clint usually uses PRS guitars. John used to use Gibsons on stage but not anymore, He uses Dean guitars now. But A LOT of artist use Gibson guitars to record their albums. They have a particular tone that can be captured @ 100% better in the studio compared to other brands... I will admit
i want to learn this song. got it all but the intro thing. Looks like he's Drop Bb tuned and the riff starts at the 10'th fret but i lose it from there. Anyone figure it out yet? I want a tab!
sounds fuckin awesome and I can tell they're trying to make it sound almost like the animosity album because that almost sounds like a remix to "Trust"
to all clint lowery fans. search for a band called NOTTAWAY on facebook. they have a premastered track that clint did a featured guitar solo on. CHECK IT
These guys have the best tone - chunky, nasty, but still resonant, melodic and listenable.
The most underrated guitarist on this planet
John is so underrated it ain't funny
John and Clint are an unbeatable duo
One of
@@GottaLookInwardToSeeOutward thank you for correcting me from six years ago.
This song called : Here and Now from "Cold Day Memory" Album

So funny when Morgan says, "Lowry, office now!"
the 1st riff sounds alot like Trust of animosity and second riff reminds me of damaged off animosity .... i like it though .. glad ya back clint
The Clint trying to impress his Lil mama Tara J.

@TheMovieMusicMan um...it's absolutely on the new album?
@spacer3001 Nope, Clint uses mostly PRS which is his mainly guitar.
@sixty90 That is Clint's pregnant girlfriend, her name is Tara Jenkins, they both live in St. Louis now.
not sure on the pickups but the song is Here and Now
Sickest riff I hope to be this good one day
Don't know why but I want this metronome sample
To the 2 people who disliked this...OFFICE...NOW!
Gibson Baritone in A# > (Sustain?) > 2 or 3 Overdrive Stompboxes > 1 Heavily Unfiltered Grinded Distortion Stompbox > Phaser without depth and 1~2kHZ rate > Marshall Amp.
Got it?
HAIL SEVENDUST!!:)
Damn, I want one of those Les Paul Baritones, but they are quite rare.
That fuckin Tone is 🔥
Damn, that guitar is heavy! Tuning in B?
beatiful les paul, always the blues

omg i hope this is on their new album....
what amp he used for the sound? any distortion pedal or is it basically just the amp?
It's not often he plays a gibson. Look at the other videos in the list from the studio, all PRS, look at live footage, PRS.
i want to learn this song. got it all but the intro thing. Looks like he's Drop Bb tuned and the riff starts at the 10'th fret but i lose it from there. Anyone figure it out yet? I want a tab!
Which song is this?

John is more underrated
on Wiki it said early 2010, plus all the hardcore Sevendust fans only know about this UA-cam channel haha
LOWERY, OFFICE! NOW! hahaha
I hope he doesn't ditch Sevendust for Seether. He already did once. He's one of the best. THE best with Sevendust. After John of course.
Looks like the new EMG'S with chrome covers. Thanks for the song info!
anyone wondering, this song is here and now from cold day memory
