Have yet to find analyst in Pakistan who understands even 10% of India. Their knowledge gained from Pakistan Studies combined with their inability to think critically due to low standards of education results in conclusions which are hilarious at best but usually pathetic.
You fail to understand that they are giving their opinion by an outsider,s propective just as you would not be able to describe in detail the struggle of power politics in pakistan everybody can say that deep state runs the country but it is more complex than that.

Secondly we have learnt a lot from the rise and fall of Chinese political soft and hard power and what mistakes they and Americans have made.. even Modi knows that change in social fabric of the population is impossible.. he may be able to achieve it inpockets mostly in north but not in the whole nation.. the central and eastern and southern states rejected his advancement..

But do you realise that Zia didn't change Pakistan it just super imposed the true identity of Pakistan.
You never let minorities live or stay back in your country from day one eg 2,373,466 Hindu and 1,520,112 Sikh constituting about 22.5% of Pakistani Punjab population in 1941.. reduced to 33,052 Hindu and zero Sikh.. in 1951. That's a 99.15% reduction in population.
This clearly wasn't the case with India.. it did hold back it's chunk of minorities and Muslim grew by 43% in India post independence..
Now that's the core principles of India..
Now if you want to say that Modi will change that .. then that's almost impossible
