Antonia Blyth conducted an uncommonly good interview! Her questions are intelligent and substantive. A welcome departure from the usual trite, superficial drivel I hear in so many interviews. Her questions measure up to the stature of these two artists. Well done and thank you for sharing it, Deadline Hollywood.
My two favorite female actors, because they will take any part in a movie. They are friends yet they have been in movies that they were lovers any many movies with other people. That’s brave.
Great interview; Moore and Swinton’s discussion give me some insight into the film’s creation, methodology, and far reaching themes. I’m looking forward to viewing the film.
Almodóvar unapologetically pulls us into his world of reds and greens and yellows. And we are invited to follow his characters as they begin the emotional pilgrimage. Almodovar's delivery of pity and fear is exquisite because he never insults our intelligence and he never asks us to lie to ourselves. So there 's space for honesty. Swinton and Moore know their roles and trust in their director. That is pure beauty and inspiration.
I always walk out of an Almodovar film with a feeling I've been in place filled with love... and this film was no different. The colours have so much to do with that feeling also
I've been mildly obsessed with how cute they are together in all the promotional events so I decided to click this to just listen to them for a minute without any spoilers and now I'm super disappointed because Julianne said the characters are just friends 😭😭
Almodovar does amazing work with female characters. Julianne obviously does not know his body of work if she doesn't know about female friendships in his films. US commercial cinema (Hwood) always makes misognis+ic storylines where women are competing in a toxic masculinity world. Almodovar has always honoured women partially their role as nurturers with deep loyalty.
I just received 'Friendship's Death' this week, an early Swinton film (sci-fi Palestine, apparently), and I love Almodovar; finally watching 'Juliet' -which I'd somehow missed- the other day. I'm surprised to see these two working with him, but it makes a lot of sense. I also love Haynes, though I'm less familiar. So I'm looking forward to this film, and will watch the rest of this interview after that.
Friendship's Death is extraordinary. I saw it over 30+ years ago & it still stayed with me. I've spent years looking for it again & now it's back with us.
@@jocabsb1000 Good idea! I have located a German blu-ray box set which includes these two as extras, but I think it's only in Spanish and German. Also there is an expensive Amazon available disc of 'Strange Way of Life'.
Fabulous interview, I just wish they gave Julianne a taller seat. I realize there's 8 inches between them but she looks like she's at the kids table....and the SIZE of those microphone logos...
I don't believe she is albino but one of the most remarkable things about her is the wide-ranging diversity of her roles and the versatility of her appearance. I've seen her play an amazing array of characters and loved her in all of the roles. I also agree with @joancarlestomas that Swinton is among the most kind and generous humans currently working in the film industry.
They’re both 63, so good to see them (and Jodie Foster!) absolutely at the top of their fame.
foster's recent work has reminded me of her talent.
Et de leurs beautés!

The Room Next Door has just won the Golden Lion at Venice film festival!!!
their chemistry is out of this world love them - hope Julianne and Tilda make more movies together

As much as I ADORE both actresses the interviewer here was stellar, an utter delight.
Pedro Almodovar tells a story like no one else.
What a pleasure listening to this interview. Antonia you are marvelous interviewer.
Beautiful interview.
Great actresses Julián and Tilda! And of couse Pedro such great director, three of you very fortunate! Unique.
I'm always on the lookout for the next Pedro Almodovar film!
Always. For me, all the way back to All About My Mother. It's event viewing
can't wait to see this film!

What an incredible interview! Tilda was spilling the tea 😂
That was a hell of an interview. ✨

Pedro is absolutely the best one, no one in Holivod can say story as good as him. I love all his movies, he is pure genius 💖
Such succinct eloquence from all 3 beauties.
Tilda Swinton is fantastic . Love her work and Julianne's too . Can't wait to see this film .

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 the respect and dignity of a decent life ❤️🩹
Can't hardly wait!

"Just"
Felicidades a estas dos actrices ,son maravillosas y espero que su trabajo con Pedro les otorgue muchos premios .❤❤
Interviewer was a treat for at least American viewers, so uncommon for what normally passes as one here.

Where can we find the short films 'The Human Voice' and 'Strange Way of Life'? I didn't know about them
Maybe on MUBI?

the interviewer's way of speaking... the hardly moving lips, the dead face muscles, the squeaky voice, so Britishly posh! can't get enough!😅😂
Love that comment... we are all next door to someone else... ❤
Tilda ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Does anyone know when it premieres in Canada?
Pedro Pedro Pedro, quel succeso. Quel pelicula
omg what is the film!
The women who do not age next door
This film is an Ode of sorority and feminism. Love it.
What does TIFF mean?
What is the NAME of the film?
The title of the film appears on the screen before the interview begins. TIFF = Toronto Int'l Film Festival.
Get your gowns ready for Oscar night!
♀️ having a mutually respectful & thoughtful conversation not about ♂️ JUST LIKE REAL LIFE! 😮
Brilliant.
💜
Tilda always só acura-te
🤩🤩🤩🤩
Sounds good
Pedro hacia el Oscar.
So... they're just friends? Interesting.
The would make a really cute couple in real life, also.

How come you never see Tilda and Thom in the same room at the same time?
Fabulous interview, I just wish they gave Julianne a taller seat. I realize there's 8 inches between them but she looks like she's at the kids table....and the SIZE of those microphone logos...
Quick 15mins
It's like he's seen the film...of course he has, it's in his head.
💋💋
Yeah wow sexyclassyladies, indeed / so much!😍♥
Poor quality low bit-rate video.
Is Tilda albino? If not, then I can say that she looks so robot like and very unhuman. Please tell me she 'is' albino😅
I don't know, but people who knows her say she is enormously kind and human

Of course not. Look up younger pictures of her.
Albinos (although she is not) are also humans, a**h***.
Who cares if she is or isn’t. Google it.
Intelligent women are so attractive! 🥰😍🤩
L'ultimo film di Almodovar dice che deve andare in pensione, è inguardabile! Un imbarazzo per Venezia!
I'm SOLD! Where do I get a ticket? 🎟️
