Yes, please. I was thinking just that. I would love love a video from her and what she likes especially in full size pistols. I’m searching for one, not to carry, just to have fun in the range.
Yup -- solves the texture issue. The stock grip isn't bad, but the Wilson really sticks to your hand, but without being so rough that it rubs it raw. Wilson really got it right.
@Johnny Alvarez24 - You seem to like pistols that are not too durable. Your top picks all failed the MAC Gauntlet horribly. The Glock beat them all easy. But I will say the Walther Q4 is a very sweet shooter. The P320 is a gamble to carry due to it's safety issues, the M&P & VP9 are far better choices over the P320. And the G19 is technically the best choice due to it's "proven reliable" history and it's the easiest to maintain. Also the G19 has the best muzzle control due to it's short bore axis and aggressive slant forward angle that reduces muzzle flip better than the rest. If you like the "tea cup" grip or left hand gripping the right wrist, then the P320 is your gun, lol! Every time I go to the range 95% of the P320 shooters are using those funny rookie grip techniques and it's hilarious to see their P320 flopping around their hands. I always look at them and think "it's a weeny 9mm for shit's sake, not a 10mm, LOL!!."
@Andrew Schwab - The P10-c is a great pistol, it's trigger out the box is incredible. It has a VP9-ish like ergos, and I know from experience CZ are very reliable. It's hard to argue against buying a CZ P10-c or P10. I went with the G19 because the P10-c wasn't out yet, but I can see why people would prefer it over anything else. But my G19 is almost the perfect pistol for me. It feels small like a G48 ( I have massive hands), it's trigger is so smooth light and crisp, I love it's ergo low slide slant forward style, I shoot it as good as my Czechmate 75, easy to conceal, high capacity, and it's the most reliable gun I've ever shot. Hard to trade my G19 for anything else, but so is the P10-c.
@Frank Bonazza III - The last time I talked to a Glock rep at a gun show it went pretty bad. We got in an argument because I told him that Glock never listens to it's customer's needs. Glock builds up this momentum about a "new Glock" then after the long wait they drop the stupid Glock 44, with a single stack 10 round 22LR, and it's horribly unreliable. WTF!!! I told them that Glock is getting their ass handed to them by Sig because they're greedy arrogant morons, and Sig actually gives the people what they want and need,...sure it's not totally safe and Sig skips on the quality control, but at least they're trying to come up with something new....even if they take some modular designs from Steyr Arms. But I really pissed them off when I told them that Glock no longer listens to their engineers and only cater to their stupid marketing team who know NOTHING about pistols. Steve Jobs said that when a company gets so big they start to neglect innovation and only care about marketing. Glock is 100% in that shit show. The gen 5 is total bullshit, nothing but a gen 2/gen 4 crossbreed. The marksmen barrel is bullshit, I can hit a 25 yard fist size spread with any old gen Glock barrel. Like I said about marketing, the "marksmen" barrel is just a marketing scheme. Yeah Glock and I are not on buddy buddy terms much less any business dealings. But don't worry, I got into the same heated argument with Sig reps as well. I tell things how they are whether people like it or not. :)
Great choice with the PPQ Q4. I tried getting optics cut out for my original PPQ and it was almost impossible to find someone to cut it because of the angles on the slide. Might as well spend the extra money to get one optics ready and with a threaded barrel.
Definitely a fair review. I actually dislike the stock P320's but run the XSeries (XFive, XCarry). The modularity and ease of cleaning that FCU were two big draws for me. I agree it isn't the top in a lot of areas but can suit a lot of shooters. Current 'covid' prices though.. ehhhh. Props to Mrs Outlaw on the sweatshirt!
It's also a rolling change. Depending on when your P320 was made, it might be milled flour an RMR. Check out CH Precision. They've got shots of all of the Sig cuts from Romeo 1 to current guns.
I just picked up an AXG at Scheels a couple days ago. That thing feels awesome! They have the X-ray sights without the huge rear sight, and they went away from the older x-series trigger with the stupid tab on the bottom. If only Scheels wasn't $300 over msrp...
I really like the X compact. I like how it feels in my hands, the size, and I prefer the sights on this way more than the standard night sights. Like most things in life, I think most of this is user preference
Impressed with your shooting. As retired military, I’ve been shooting since the 70’s with lots of competitive shooting & could almost keep up with you but it would be tough, you’re a good shot. Love Sigs. Have a few myself. My favorite is my P 365 XL. Thx to your video, I think I’ll try & make this one my next purchase. Thx for the review, it was really thorough.
I bought this gun with the romeo 1 pro for $975 as my first gun ever, and I carry it everyday. When spending that amount on a handgun, I believe you're doing it for the reliability. I could've bought the Taurus G3 for what, $250? but I thought, why get a cheap gun that might jam up on me and is not made with better materials. So basically, I'm saying you're buying a gun as a tool to defend your life and personally I think you should be going balls out. I also believe this is probably the only gun I need to have for home defense and concealed carry, and I didn't know how customizable it was! Great review Outlaw!
Can't agree more with you. I bought the wife a little cheap range gun for a few reasons. To make sure she was comfortable with having a firearm in her hand and to get her used to what a garbage gun feels like so she appreciates a quality. After she was comfortable, we upgraded her to Kimber because no way was I letting her carry a subpar gun. When it's your life or your family's on the line, spend the extra money for peace of mind.
@digital1911 Same here. The irony is that I live about 10 mins from the Sig plant and 20-25 mins to the “Pro Shop” and they said that I couldn’t just go pick my own up. Eh, it is what it is!
@digital1911 I only have one Glock left, and I do all the work on it myself. So the wait wasn’t really a big deal, It was just wishful thinking. I was actually wicked shocked at how long it took to get my CZ back for a simple mag release issue! I wrote to them asking if they forgot my P10c or something. So every company has their quirks I guess.
Hope you can get your hands on the new x compact aluminum frame model. They changed the sights so that you don’t lose your sights when you put on an optic and the sights are adjustable and not as blocky like they are on the plate on the this gun. The new one also takes an RMR. Also it has removable grip panels. You should check it out.
All of your points are spot on. I have the X Compact and I had 2-3 failures on my first time at the range and was hesitant. But I’ve been back about 5 times since then without any failures. So I think you’re right; you just need to break the gun in a little bit
Nothing better than a totally honest opinion by someone who doesn't act like he knows everything about everything. Your's continues to be my favorite site for reviews. Thanks!!!
I bought my P320 back in 2017 and had to send it in for not only the drop safety stuff, but I was able to push the front sight out with my thumb. Thankfully, I purchased the red dot equipped version so the front sight wasn't a huge deal but still very frustrating since that was my first striker-fired pistol.
Solid review. I almost got this as my first 320 and my second Sig. Instead I ended up getting another CZP07 which was lightly used and already milled for my preferred red dot-which isn’t a Sig.
This is my EDC and I've used it for some USPSA steel matches just for the fun of it. Mine's equipped with an INFORCE light and a HOLOSUN red dot. Such a fun and BAD-ASS pistol to shoot.
I think hitting low is because Sig uses a slightly more vertical grip angle, which is exemplified by the undercut on the trigger guard. Getting used to a Sig is like the opposite of getting used to a Glock for me.
I just got transferred to a new assignment where I have wear a dress suit, I swapped out my 226 for my xcompact ( didn’t want my pants to come down). I love it it’s comfortable for a 8 hour shift.
I've recently bought one, from my brother-in-law. He fired 1 magazine through it. He put it up, never shot it again. I've fired 300 rounds, no problems. I was going to get a Sig 228, but this fits that itch. I agree with the feel of a 320. The only shootable pistol I've run across, Smith and Wesson 2.0. They shoot great for me. All things considered, I'm satisfied!!
It's true that other manufacturers include plates but none of them are ideal and it's usually better to buy slide plates from companies that specialize in that area. I appreciate that the p320 is cut for two high quality optics. The romeo 1 pro is actually a very good optic and very durable with the shroud.
I’m strongly considering this as my new CC ($675 locally) I’ve had Walther PDP Compact, Shadow Systems MR920L Elite and Glock 19/17 and the Sig P320 Xcompact just feels good. I don’t have large hands, so the grip fits just right and the ability to swap grip modules for just a few bucks (Wilson grip, for example) is an attractive selling point. Already own a Romeo1Pro, so no issues there. Great review. Thanks!
@@vladmordekeiser1054 The 365 XL will be noticeably easier to conceal. Images and videos won't give you the full picture. When it comes to the grip the 365 XL is shorter, but not by much which I understand is the part that is harder to conceal, but the 365 XL is also much slimmer and lighter. I wear large gloves and I can get a full grip on the 365 XL. It just feels so good in the hand. Holds 12 rounds vs 15 but that's pretty impressive for such a small pistol. You can also get 15 round magazines for it. I bought one to have as my backup magazine, but that actually makes the grip slightly longer than the P320 X-Compact (One and a half stack on the 365 XL is longer vs double stack on the P320 X-Compact.) so that's why it's my backup magazine and not the one I conceal with the pistol. If you have the money I'd get a dedicated conceal carry pistol like the P365 XL and a full size for home defense. But if you can only afford one get the 320-X Compact. It's smaller than a Glock 19 and people conceal Glock 19s just fine. But get a good holster for it too. I would recommend Vedder holsters with the claw. That's why I use on my P365 XL.
I just bought a p320 and it's a full size but it fits my hands I haven't shot it yet it feels great to my hand everyone is different. I agree. I bought the Wilson Combat grip module because it got nothing but rave reviews. I hated it compared to the regular x compact grip. waste of money.
@@Sugarfryz for me it’s a little too big for my hands. Xcompact was better control. Felt better. Sell it on eBay, get your money back. Someone will buy it.
Glad the finish is good on yours Outlaw. The Nitron finish on my P365 was wearing thru after about 5 draws from a Vedder Holster (that seems to fit well).
I got mine this year (manufactured in 2022) and just hit 1000 rounds ( I run cheap and defense ammo, 115 and 124 grain). Happy to report 0 malfunctions! That said, I'm a pretty religious cleaner but it's been nothing but perfect for me so far
Another awesome video!! Got this pistol for just under $600. Great value for an optic ready striker, equipped with n/s and no optic plate required. The Honest Outlaw is correct, no one should pay $800 for this pistol. Although it’s a very capable and versatile little gun. Thanks again for all the informative and entertaining content.
Amazing how you can hit the targets even though its not your favorite. I love learning from you. So much useable info in every video you make. I am in the process of getting an online pistol safety certificate which is necessary in order to purchase a pistol online where the pistol gets mailed to a local approved sales facility. Ill probably get a compact 9mm. Looks like fun.
Got a 15mph crosswind.... Shouldn't be a problem.... Pew.... Maybe it will be 😂😂😂😂. I'm heading to pick up my first Sig when the store opens here in a few hours and it happens to be the P320x compact. I've been up all night watching videos on this and am beyond excited. I will agree I was a little disappointed about the limited range of RDs that this platform accepts. Lots of good sights out there for far less than the Romeo or Delta. With that said, I have no problem slapping one on and going about my merry way! Great review you gained a subscriber!

I got the 'large' sized grip module, and it helped a lot as I have somewhat large hands. Doesn't make it any bulkier or less concealable, but just better to hold onto it.

Had one for a while and while there was nothing bad about it, it also wasn't anything special. I really wanted to like it, and on paper at least, it seemed like it should be the bee's knees, but I just never bonded with it. It may be heavier, but I much prefer my P229 and that sweet Sig SA trigger.

@@waynv1835 True its a waste of money HOWEVER if you bought the m&p 2.0 in 2019 when it was cheap then it is WORTH it because the gun was like $350 back then so its only 500 with the apex. However nowadays its not worth it. The m&p goes for like 600 now
Love how this gun feels. I think as far as trigger and grip, it feels at least as nice as the Glock 19 Gen 5. I could only pick one this weekend, and I picked the SIG. Only annoyance is the sight plate. Idk what I’m gonna mount on it yet, but the APEX plate for the Aimpoint ACRO seems really interesting.
Personally I don’t have a problem with the legendary high bore axis on Sig pistols. I learned to shoot well before Glock came along to dominate design and shooter sensibilities - I’m talking 1911s, big body 9s from S&W, Ruger and Beretta, full size revolvers, etc. - so the Sig scale doesn’t bother me. When I want to shoot my absolute best groups I pick up my P226 Legion or my P320 TacOps, both 9mm.
recently purchased the P320 Xcompact, had the same malfunction- 2 in the first 100 rounds. I have ran 200 more rounds with no trouble. So I agree that the issue was in the break in period.
I shoot the standard 320 and feel like it fits my hand better than the x carry. I personally don't feel more muzzle flip going from one 4 inch polymer to the other. The selling point of the sig for me is I can hit anywhere I point, precisely. I shoot all the major brands highly accurately. But the sig gives me surgical precision. Love all guns. I can get the job done with 99% of them.
Surefire X300 was mentioned in the video. From personal experience, that light won't fit on the XCompact. TLR-1 does fit though. edit; and I'll say I've got 1200 rounds of various target ammo and almost 100 rounds of defense ammo through my XCompact. Zero issues. FWIW. Also, will say, got a Roemo1Pro on there and it's fantastic. I'm able to shoot a ragged hole at the local indoor range.
I bought this pistol as I am a sig fan boy. Love my Sigs. I found it didn't fit well in my large hands. I just wasnt happy. Gave it to my wife an she loves it an shoots really well with it N can still conceal
Great review as always!! I just picked one up a blue label one and really like it. I had a 365xl that I tried, but just couldn't shoot it well. This one fit the bill. Definitely a different recoil impulse than, say a Glock with a lower bore axis, but nothing a couple hundred rounds didn't fix. I do prefer a more grippy texture, so I ordered a laser textured frame module from Sig.
I'm looking forward to checking out the SIG 320x 10mm. I just purchased the S&W M&P 10mm a week ago because I didn't know SIG was releasing a 10mm. Oh well, you can never have too many.
This was gonna be my intended for CC, however I also had my eye on the P-10C for a while. I ultimately picked up the P-10C 2019 model after they worked out the kinks and never looked back (well except this video and seeing more X-Compact/X-Carry models on store shelves).
I just traded mine in for a CZ P07. Not sure if it was just the specific P320xc that I had, but it wasn't very accurate and I couldn't trust it to hit a target at 15 yards the way I needed it to. The CZ allieviates this issue. It did not stovepipe on me once which is nice. Also, it has no safety mechanism which is fine if you don't care about that but I'd rather carry something I feel comfortable with. There's a lot of better guns that cost less so just stick to those.
Many people hit low with sig pistols because of how the sights are zeroed from the factory. Most pistols are zeroed so that the round will hit along the top line of the front sight. Sig pistols are zeroed so that the round will hit where the dot is, which is of course a little bit lower than most people would be used to. If you want to shoot sigs accurately you should superimpose the dot over your target rather than cutting it in half.
The X Compact has a good grip. After a few mags causes my hand to cramp up. I got the Wilson Combat grip. It's model after the 1911. If you have the X Compact you may want to look at Wilson Combat
I had the exact same problems within the first few hundred rounds with my p320 compact. I have since gone through around 1800 rounds without a problem.

@@reachblowsdick7222 Gotta love the internet experts chiming in on things they know nothing about........
Who gave you thumb down. You should get thumb up just for intro music alone. The rest is gravy. Love your channel.
A ringing endorsement from Mrs.Outlaw: "It's alright".

The full size with a wilson combat grip is a beauty. The wilson combat grip helped the ergonomics in a profound way.
All the latest Sigs come “Pro Cut” which opens it up to more micro dot options; retains the rear sight as well.
I saw that on the axg
It's also a rolling change. Depending on when your P320 was made, it might be milled flour an RMR. Check out CH Precision. They've got shots of all of the Sig cuts from Romeo 1 to current guns.
I picked up the slide, coming from a standard P320.
Thanks, that would have been the deal-breaker for me.
Hah, my P320 is so old that I had the recall done on it. *STILL* a fantastic shooter. Great review brother!
Not me got gen 1 apex flat trigger. Just got sig x compact frame and 2 21 rounds mags. Waiting for some new mag floor plates.
@@chevykent77 ohhhh fancy!
Thats old?
Hope you can get your hands on the new x compact aluminum frame model. They changed the sights so that you don’t lose your sights when you put on an optic and the sights are adjustable and not as blocky like they are on the plate on the this gun. The new one also takes an RMR. Also it has removable grip panels. You should check it out.
All of your points are spot on. I have the X Compact and I had 2-3 failures on my first time at the range and was hesitant. But I’ve been back about 5 times since then without any failures. So I think you’re right; you just need to break the gun in a little bit
My favorite concealed so far 👌🏻 got mine a month ago and I’m loving it!!!!
If you don’t mind me asking, how much did it run you?
I traded a H & K 40 compact for the p320 X-series few days ago and it was a great decision. No complaints for me about the SIG.
I have this gun as my edc and I absolutely love it.
Nothing better than a totally honest opinion by someone who doesn't act like he knows everything about everything. Your's continues to be my favorite site for reviews. Thanks!!!
Thank you for amazing reviews. I picked one up because of your honest input. Kept it up I continue watching
Just have to say , best gun Chanel in UA-cam, thank you for the content !!
Hickock45 is pretty good too
Just bought one with the gold barrel and trigger. I absolutely love it
I like Sigs love the concept collect each model when I can however my cary will always be a pair of 1911s my preference
The little lady is rocking that sig! She was lock her wrist out and everything. Nice! Good job to both of you.
I bought the carry when it first came out and it felt like a hot mess to me. So I sold it. Purchased a P series Legion and now I am more than happy.
I love my p320 compact
Thanks!
I like the X-Carry better but I love them both!! I like that extra un-needed .4" lol. Such a great gun right out the box!
I wish the xcompact came with a 4 inch barrel too. I do think the xcompact grip is nicer than x carry. They worked on it more following x carry
@@Johnny-ik1mk I just bought the Wilson Combat P320 grip for the X-Carry. Even better than the stock ones.
@@DatGrunt Hell yeah! I'm jealous!
Guys, how does this compare to a P365 XL to concealed carry?
I picked one of these up a few months back. This pistol has made 9mm so much more fun than my 226 or axg. Love this pistol.
I just bought a p320 and it's a full size but it fits my hands I haven't shot it yet it feels great to my hand everyone is different. I shot on Sunday hit everything I aim at.As a former Marine shooting 45's it's not recoil it's sight alignment and trigger control. You are a great shootist. This pistol out of the box fits my hand. I will let you know how the range goes.
Right now xcompact has best ergonomics of any p320. That grip module is the best one. Better than the x carry and x five grip.
Totally agree!! XCompact has some solid ergonomics.
How about a review of the new Sig P320 AXG Scorpion 🦂!? Granted it just came out but would like to see your review on this limited run 🔫 pistol
I like Wilson's Combat grips on it and gives it 17 rounds or a 21 extended rounds, looks bad ass with romeo red dot
Are we talking about paying for just the pistol 800$ or with a red dot included
You guys are awesome 😎 I been watching y’all for some time and Mrs Outlaws opinions are just as good as a pro shooter like yourself keep up the good work
I have watched many of your videos and man you can shoot. I am working on it after 60 plus classes. Hope to be there soon, I have 2 M18's and a 3.9 320 I bought the FCU and build the pistol around it, and the X Compact with all the Lego's. Romeo 1 Pro dot, Wilson Combat grip, and the Brake Pedal on all. Great shooting pistols. I have Glocks, Caniks, and others I am thinking my 4 son's and I just like shoot. Whoo, I love my Sig's!
All the good guns come out of Germany or Austria...just ask me Ill tell you😊
@@marswmnwhoever2188 this gun is litterally american
I got the 'large' sized grip module, and it helped a lot as I have somewhat large hands. Doesn't make it any bulkier or less concealable, but just better to hold onto it.
My carry pistol is the SIG P320RX compact w/ Holosun 508T(titanium) Circle Dot. Perfect reliability and capable of head shots at 25 yards!! Lately I have started carrying my P365X more and more...it is the perfect pistol for concealment!!
"That shouldn't be an issue... Maybe, it will be." That would a good line in a Leathal Weapon type of a movie. Or John Wick.
Love watching John Wick movies,He's so cool and don't take no prisoners. In His line of work you can't.Love The New Sig P 320 X Compact.
X-Compact with Icarus Precision grip module is a sick Carry Gun. Love mine! Running with Holosun 507k X2 and an armory craft skeletonized trigger.
I picked up 320 x compact when it first came out. Love it
Just picked up one and I can't wait to shoot it. Wanted an M18 but could not find one in stock. Eventually it will get a suppressor height front sight and Leupold Delta point pro with backup sight on the rear. Really like the modular pistol concept.
I like the music, wind and chimes
I love my P320. I run the xcarry barrel and slide with the xcompact grip module.
I trimmed a X Carry grip module and run my X Compact slide in it. I like the longer frame with the shorter slide, runs great.

Had this pistol and like it a lot. I traded it for a H&K vp9sk and love it. I might get another p320xc someday...
I just want to know if it is drop safe after the voluntary upgrade considering the current lawsuit against Sig involving some post-upgrade pistols.
Great video. Since prices going up, you said you wouldn't buy this 320 xcompact at today's prices so what would you buy instead if wanting carry pistol with 15+1 mag?
He said $800. These can be had for under $700. I should be picking one up tomorrow for $680 (before tax and ffl)
In the last year I've sold all my Sig's but one ! The 365 is staying! CZ life. You hit the nail on the head for that price no way! I pickup a CZ P07 tactical for $449. last week at of all places Cabela's. NIB.

Great vlog bro I just got this same one last weekend at the gun show have you had any hiccups are do you still feeling the same way
Awesome review but im sticking to my M&P's...I still think the M&P's are perfect right out of the box. (2.0). Apex trigger and they are awesome
I have a couple m&p pistols and I love them but this sig is my favorite.
@@chisomsmith8511 m&p with apex destroys the sig tho. Plus it shoots way better
Respect, for your skills and living by Truth. Keep honest and and God bless.
True, that. Learn on a revolver and Sigs are no problem.
When I listen to him ring steel with Sigs vs CZ or most any quality gun he shoots, I can't detect the 0.05 second difference
If I could pick my Parents Mr. & Mrs. Outlaw would be Top 5 on my list. Lol❤💪

Hell of a review channel here.
Mr Outlaw I've been looking at some of you're other reviews and you are one hell of a shot.🇺🇸
The Wilson Combat grip module does wonders for the feel of this and all P320s.
It's impossible to judge muzzle flip from your videos. You make everything look like a .22
Dude’s pretty big, 6’4” like Hickok45
recently purchased the P320 Xcompact, had the same malfunction- 2 in the first 100 rounds.
Thanks for the breakdown. Very concise. Ur a helluva good shot!
I added the Wilson combat grip to mine & it made a significant difference!
I'm looking forward to checking out the SIG 320x 10mm. I just purchased the S&W M&P 10mm a week ago because I didn't know SIG was releasing a 10mm. Oh well, you can never have too many.
I also Love The Flat Trigger Sig Sauer put on This Gun. It's just as Good as A Apex Trigger!
Might be my next gun! Just looks like a fun piece for the collection I'm working on.
I agree completely about the sights. at first I hated them but I kinda learned how to use them.
