Pretty slick. Good for another 20 years. Looks like a good looking new shop dog too.

Thanks for watching. Yeah the dog is pretty darn cool. I can't believe nobody's claimed him.

Just pulled my identical 4175 off to do the same, it also sat for a few years and leaked lots, Thanks for the video, will be a great help.

Nice video Tony! I referred to this twice over a couple years, on working on a 4165 800 spread bore. It's a great carb, but all those O-rings... haha Thank you!

Thanks a lot for that video, I have this carb on my Corvette C3, could you recommend the rebuild gasket kit for this model please? I'm struggle to get the proper set. Also, maybe you can explain more about this choke setup? I don't understand why my doesn't work and how it should work in general. Than you and good luck!

You're very welcome and thanks for watching! This is your best resource to find the correct Holley rebuild kit. documents.holley.com/techlibrary_carb_numerical_listing.pdf On the front of the air horn on your carburetor, you'll find the list number which you can cross reference on this document to find all the information you need on your specific carb. I used a Quick Fuel Technology 3-206 kit for this carb. That kit should work for most of the Holley Spread Bore style carbs. As for the choke, My carburetor is a very specific design for Chrysler applications from the 1970s. If this is exactly the same as the carb on your Corvette, you'll probably never get the choke functioning correctly because the Chevy and Mopar choke stoves are significantly different in design. In my application it even requires the 1" spacer under the carb for proper function (otherwise the rod would be too long) I'll do a short video in the next couple of days explaining how a divorced choke works and how to adjust it. Just keep in mind your Chevy may look different but the operating principles are the same. I hope this helps you. BTW I went to your channel and saw the video of the car. That is a nice looking 'Vette! 🏁

@TonysHotRodGarage thanks for the answer, yes I added the manual pull for my choke and disconnected the vacuum pull for now. My car needs a lot but I'm slowly getting it done.
