Unboxing and starting the Titan 2 stroke gas petrol weed eater brush cutter sold by Screwfix.
I wanted the power of an engine so opted for the gasoline version as opposed to a lithium battery tool. This petrol Strimmer is hard to beat on price, and the reviews on Screwfix are glowing,so I went for it. I also own a Titan pressure washer and a router and they are both exceptionally good value tools.

40:1 mix 10ml oil, 400ml petrol
I brought one after seeing this video really good strimmer
Thanks mate
Cheers David, I’m glad my little vid may have been useful.
Haha you're a funny guy, thanks
i get mine tomorrow
.good choice i reckon.don't forget your spare string.Cheers Baldrick 👍👍
Have several of these machines.Found ,sooner or later, the carb goes out of adjustment, called "bogging", look it up on YT. Starts on choke, but wont rev when choke off. Easy fix, though.Fuel mix bottle supplied but fiddly.Better to buy a superior one, better markings, and larger filler holes.
Yes they all go like that. I have a chainsaw that’s bogging and needs adjusting👍
Happy gardening xxx
Ahh you must have watched till the end.
Just purchased this, can't work out how to get more twine out the spool ? or is there only a little on the spool when I bought this. The brush cutter works very well.
Hi Alec. its called a bump feed. when its running give it a little throttle and bump it on the floor on a firm surface.it will push the centre button in on the spool and release more twine. when its done that it should then self trim the ends to length.
I bought one of these and find the strap very awkward, i need to lift and tilt the machine to get a good close to the ground cut?
Hi James.Yes i know what you mean. Try moving the clip where it joins the machine along the row of metal holes. at a guess i would say move the clip down towards the cutting head .that will adjust the angle to the floor.Cheers buddy hope that makes sense
You should be on TV 😊
Lol don’t know about that mate
Heavys good, heavys reliable
If it doesn't work you can always hit him with it 😎
Hehe you recognise the line

How many litres of fuel does a full tank require, and how long does it last in regards to minutes?
hi Jazz. at a guess i would say it holds around 2.5 litres and lasts me around 2 hours. depends how fast you drive lol
Hi
Good job you’re not cutting grass by the cut with one of those, they have broken many a Cratch Glass 🤣🤣
Hi . I always found the grass cutting guys to be very careful of the boats. Cheers Everyday
Stupid question, but where do u get the petrol/what type of petrol? Do u just bring a container to the local petrol station you would fill your car up at, or does it need a special type?
Hi Darts. It’s just the cheapest normal unleaded out of the petrol station..you will need a proper petrol can though, they won’t let you fill anything else. Cheers👍
My head trimmer is not co.ing off any help pls
hi. use the little allen key tool to hold the head in place to stop it turning via the cut out just behind spool. dont forget the spool is a left handed thread. should spin right off
i think the carburetor is not tuned in right
no she's fine 1 year later still running great without adjustment. Thanks for watching Kolby
I bought one of the older models 3-4 years ago. Followed the instructions for use and storage but each year it became more of a pain in the neck to use, bogging down and randomly cutting out. Anyway I just don't trust the brand anymore along with the lack of support from screwfix.
Hi Will. This ones been fine so far fingers crossed.. you will find as petrol powered tools age they will need an adjustment to the mixture to keep them starting and running well, and a bit of a service, spark plug air filter ect .i cant vouch for the older ones like yours though. if i get 2-3 yrs out of my one i will be happy for the price. but mine does do loads of work.cheers mate
To jest chińska produkty?
yes probably made in china. but its a very good low cost tool.
I hope you had safety glasses on PP 😊
Of course. Safety first 😉
In UK there not cheep I paided from scrw fix 350
It cost £129.99p
Would you recommend it??
Yes I would highly recommend it. I have used it loads of times on an 1 acre garden since this video and it works great. Can’t go wrong. The fuel lasts ages too.The trick is running them out of fuel completely before storing over the winter if you want it to start next summer. Thanks Nicola
What mm string would you put in
When I used all blue stuff it came with, i bought this is the one from Screwfix. HANDY PARTS HP-137 PROFESSIONAL NYLON LINE 3MM X 56M (79105)

Found the blade didn't do anything
I used the blade the other day for the first time.It does hack thick bushes ok but it’s not great. Too small I reckon. Cheers Jez
I always use the blade, and found the supplied one ok.Don't know why you should have problems.
@@keithhooper6123
Juat would cut anything
Well not really a problem,I will give blade another go after this storm Babbet passes. Big garden tidy up needed ready for winter. Cheers Keith. 👍

Only used it once , but will try again and report back
Doesn’t sound very powerful 🤷🏼♂️
Hi Js. I don’t think it’s underpowered. It’s a really good tool. There is no need to thrash em at full throttle.Cheers for watching and Merry Christmas
Okay 👍🏻 Merry Christmas 🎉
