      @@RyanVince I worked the ramp at Anchorage Intl Airport...jeeze, 20 years ago-busiest cargo airport in the world I was told, doing postal sort and haul it out to the aircraft, and I was a night crew. In blizzards nary the faint-hearted can comprehend, I tell ya there was some nasty coastal storms, moose sometimes.....and thats about it, but it was rough when the wind is anything over 40mph when the temps already below zero F, that and operations were 100% in the dark, except for the two and a half weeks of summer. :D good times. Bunny boots all the way.

      Cold air is the smoothest to fly in. It’s more dense. Down in the tropics is where you’ll encounter the worst turbulence.😊

    I live in Minnesota and I've always wanted to fly in during a big snowstorm like this. That or land right after its over and see everything covered in fresh snow from the air.

    Detroit, St.Paul-Minneapolis, Chicago, Pittsburgh all have really good weather ops to keep the runaways clear. Lived in Pittsburgh always felt safe landing there during the winter and never got diverted.

    I was there for work in February 2022, l am from Tennessee and stayed near the airport across from the mall if America. I have never been so cold, l remember leaving in a blizzard and dragging my luggage through all the snow. I was just happy to get my rental car safely back to the airport!

      Delta and nwa merged, they just took the delta name and livery. The nwa aircraft are still flying into msp but in a different color

      I was a big NWA flier for years and flew all over the world with them and KLM. I worked for a fortune 50 company. Now I am retired and have many pleasant memories of MSP and NWA. They always got me there safely.

    Nice video...nice smooth landing. I was in this same situation last April coming home to MSP from NYC and the turbulence was so bad that the pilot had to go around after trying to land so he could choose a longer runway. It was a little tense needless to say, but he did a great job landing the plane.

    Where was this plane when I flew to Hawaii back in 2005 flying over the Rockies was terrifying 😮. A huge snow storm, and we got caught in it, going and coming back. The plane was very old too

    I would be freaked out. I am not a good flyer and I especially hate landings and takeoffs and this landing is crazy. You can't see anything until they're almost on the ground. I will say kudos to the pilots though that was so smooth absolutely unbelievable landing

    i remember my 1st seat over a wing.i was amazed how far they flexed in flight.but knew they had to before hand.im sure it has alarmed some passengers before.

    The guys on the scopes in the tower are amazing how they can guide the rate of decent and center them on the runway

      FYI the people in the control tower don't do any of that. They help sequence and seperate aircraft from each other. Systems on board the aircraft guide it to the runway.

    You know one of my biggest pet peeves of being on airplane, especially while landing at night and with low visibility during a storm; is when other passengers have their overhead light on and I can't see shit.

    The fact that we can do this as humans is beyond what I feel is "normal". I'm sure it's safe and I know the technology works, but still I would be freaking out if I was on this flight.

      It was decently bad, pilots were reporting poor braking while we were en route

    between snow and heat i think engine prefer snow

      They both present challenges for the engines. Cold you risk ice buildup which can cause issues even more than heat
