Incredible, some of us need a steady low impact exercise, to start up easily and do anywhere and still build up strength, stamina and stretch. So good and doable. You are now in my folder for daily routine mix!
I'm late to the party but wow. Took me less than 2 minutes to find a hip impingement I knew was there but lacked the knowledge to isolate. Now I know the joint action involved, I can work on it elsewhere. Thank you for this and your free output in general. Nice to have someone filtering out all that noise (for the record, when performing cross-leg final phase one hip locked up tighter than a camel's behind in a dust storm).
Hi TIm! I'm just discovering OS, and doing the reset day a few times a day with the basic form of every excercies. I was wondering how to use this amazing resource. What is your advice on progressing the exercises? Here you have so many drills, and I'm lost on how to use them. Thanks!
Hey, So the basic resets - breathing, heed nods/rotations, rolling, rocking and crawling never actually need to be progressed - they always work for you. BUT, you can explore their variations if you want to - and that can be fun and rewarding as well. My book: Pressing Reset, Original Strength Reloaded can help you make sense of how to use them, when to use them, and what they do. If you’re looking for that information… If it helps, i actually stick to the basics most of the time and then on the weekends, I get more exploratory with the movements.
I don't, John. We do have a DVD, but it is just how to do all the resets (the 5 major ones), and then there are some movement sessions at the end you can follow along with. I also have this short daily routine video if it is helpful: ua-cam.com/video/RcL6Rw7l3_8/v-deo.html
Yeah that would be great. Tim comes up with soo many great moves I'd love to see like a progression / regression tree chart mapping them all out so I can remember to revisit each of them.
Hi Tim, I have just come across your channel, very impressive. I am 57, and a recreational runner, can you suggest a starting point, and possible progressions?Kind regardsDavid
Thanks for watching, David. I would think the rocking and crawling playlists would be a great place to start. Rocking ua-cam.com/play/PL9v3pv_KGM7vr3nz69wOff7vWsc4ix2jx.html and Crawling ua-cam.com/play/PL9v3pv_KGM7sin0JMX-7BPGrsyxx4iQ67.html
I love your videos, but whenever I do rocking, even with my knees padded, I get knee pain in the patellar tendon. can I do anything to get better and get over this pain, or does it mean rocking isn't for me?
Hi there! (not Tim, lol) But I would say to strengthen the muscles around the knee to insure proper patella alignment(tracking) and stability. Exercises such as leg extensions and abductions may be helpful, as well as calf raises, hamstring curls/hyper-extensions and shallow squats. I hope this helps and I hope you feel better :-)

Thanks so much for watching. And yes! The small simple things are what make the big things possible!
Your videos and commentary rocks! I love it
Ha! Thanks!
As always, thank you Tim!!
Glad it’s useful!

So glad this is useful to you! And sorry about that camels butt thing!😅
Tim -- The rock and roll specialist!
Awesome! I just LOVE your work -- thanks for all you do :)
Thank you Todd!
Thanks Tim. I needed this!
Yes ma'am!
Great content as always Tim!
Thanks for the feedback!

Tim, you rock my world. =D
Ha! Thanks!
Do you have a full length DVD of your whole routine? So I don't have to watch it in bits and pieces?
I don't, John. We do have a DVD, but it is just how to do all the resets (the 5 major ones), and then there are some movement sessions at the end you can follow along with. I also have this short daily routine video if it is helpful: ua-cam.com/video/RcL6Rw7l3_8/v-deo.html
Thanks Tim. That did feel good. How about an encyclopedia of all these movements? But that would be waaay too big. 😀
Yeah that would be great. Tim comes up with soo many great moves I'd love to see like a progression / regression tree chart mapping them all out so I can remember to revisit each of them.

Ha! Tangled legs and arms is a whole new reset!
