my first experience fighting him:

One time while I was fighting him he had only a bit of HP left but then I died when he did his shotlock. Managed to beat him few tries after but I don't know in total how many time i died but I do remember fighting him for 3-4 hours straight.
3-4 hours? On what difficulty, Critical?
I fought him for a few hours as well as Ven on standard. Even when I thought I figured him out my PSP couldn’t handle his shadow clone attack so it was kind of a bit of luck.
Hey this isn't the full track. You left out the "too slow too slow too slow" bit.
He also forgot the constant low health alarm.
What's funny is that he always keeps saying "too slow" during a full combo that he didn't dodge

from vanitas remnant's perspective this is just an elaborate game of minesweeper
I like the use of the battle clip as a visual to go with the music. It's definitely something I haven't seen before, and it's a nice touch.

its odd how heroic this theme is because the scenario is anything but, you are essentially fighting the ghost of a shadow
It is because you are defeating an Emotion remnant of Those Darkness.
I also saw it as Some version of Vanitas free from all his bonds and he’s happy about it. A theme that doesn’t reference other themes.

My assumption that Vanitas Sentiment is the Opposite of Vanitas. As the actual Vanitas had been a tyrannical bully. Vanitas Sentiment could be considered Heroic since that's his dream eater version or his night mare version.
@@MortalSoul13 interesting idea, but one thing: i dont know if you could call it his dream eater version when dream eaters are creatures that spawn from him
so this is how you beat this boss with terra:
1.your command console needs to be filled with megapotions
2.equip your hardest attack keyblade
3.melee the shit out of him
it worked for me
Or you can hide behind a rock with the boss locked on the other side and from there spam strike raid

Too little comments about the music itself
I like how beginning sounds hopeless strong force of justice and corruption clash, then slowly moves to courage and fighting against the odds for something you believe in and gaining the upper hand

Those trumpets even if they're only there for a second are my favorite part, cause to me anyways, they feel like trumpets of hope cheering you on, telling you, you can win this fight.
I personally get that vive, but not from those trumpets, but rather the longer part after it. Feels like a heroic theme. Meanwhile, the part just after the intro feels like a theme of villainy.
Vanitas Remnant theme: I don't know if I want to cheer you up or kill you...

I was expecting another remix, but it's another completely original battle theme! I have a feeling this will be reused/mixed later; it's too good for an extra boss theme!

@lyonis grado 100% agree. Vanitas is such a good villain, evil and mysterious. Enter the Darkness, Unbreakable Chains and Enter the Void all fit his persona perfectly. I also wish they had brought this theme back, quite a shame.

all in all good music quality and the boss fight was what we need more of in newer arpg games, hard but fun. not one or the other, but rather a good mix of both.
I really hope they dont do BBS superboss design in newer arpg games.

HardcoreHamster33 as Vsntus and Aqua just spam the Dodge button. Their max level dodge rolls have permanent invincibility frames, allowing you to constantly dodge without taking damage.
Unfortunately I can't give advice for Terra, they clearly designed the endgame and optional bosses around Aqua and Ventus's broken dodge rolls as well as the OP commands such as Fire/Thunder Surge.
Ha ha ha, bonus boss only has a single health bar. This is gonna be easy.

To this day this is the hardest boss on birth by sleep for me (to the point that i beat him less than 10 times total) and yes,i think that noheart,eraqus armor and the misterious figure were easier since i have beaten them multiple times with the 3 and even with my old psp that the stick didn't let me run xD
I'm trying to do this on Proud Mode, using seeker mines for my deck. What level are you (if you have no exp off)
I play on Standard mode. I used mainly Mine Squares, a slot for Seeker Mine and Mine Shields. XD Also, 2 slots for Hi-Potion, just in case and a Fission Firaga. XD I cannot do Proud Mode. I'd die in a second. XD
Use 4 seeker mines and 4 “potions”, stacked

Those plain spinning wheels are impossible to dodge the black sphere and shadow surprise atk on PSP. Dunno how this guy can easily did it smoothly

Matteo Sartori most people aren't stupid enough to fight a boss as poorly designed as this with no commands. This boss (just like the other optional bosses in BBS) is truly awful.

Catoboy Productions great fight? Pfft, cuz a boss that spams attacks constantly, takes tick damage, doesn't stagger consistently, teleports out of hits randomly and heals all that damage you did to him in a matter of seconds when given the chance is clearly a fair, well designed and challenging boss.
I'm not a fanboy like you. Its not that I can't be pleased, I'm simply not blind to this series's flaws and I know a badly designed boss when I see one.

I also Wonder if while Xehanort Co troled the actions and thoughtprocess of Aprentice axehanort if Terra was the one making him fell sorrow and if Xehanort used it to his advantage to keep terra at bay mayby even tricking " himself" thatcall this is good while aculy thinking he is doing itvall for the greater good

Really? An end game boss that only has one life bar?
Rin Onishi it only has one life bar because it has the highest defense stat of any boss in the game as well most of his attacks can one shot you if you dont have the right abilities equipped

Actually, you're wrong about this boss having the highest amount of defense. In the Final Mix version of this, Armor of Eraqus had the most amount of defense, despite having 5 bars of health.
@@cliftonsavage7380 hes programed to use cure if the player uses cure commands, thats why you're only allowed to use items and Renewal guard to heal.
