I'm not a rugby league fan, but my late dad was. One of my big memories of him was of him on a Friday night watching the super league on sky and he would regularly shout me in during a game and say come and watch this, its 9/10 times it was Rob Burrow and my dad would be amazed at how he not only battled, but more often than not won the battle against the huge players in the opposition as a smaller framed guy. Every time it was like he was seeing him do it for the first time, such was the awe of the scale of his determination to succeed and win. My dad passed away 4 years ago this coming Friday so never saw the day that Rob Burrow announced this illness but I know he would have equally wanted me to see how brave he was in fighting this biggest of opponents so courageously. RIP Rob Burrow, a true inspiration to so so many people.
From a Bradford Bulls Fan, Rob I grew up watching you at the peak of your powers and what a player you really was...Dynamic, passionate and never say die attitude was apparent to see by us all...On top of that off the pitch u was an ultimate family man and it was a privilege to watch u come on in the last 5 mins in the charity game v my team Bradford Bulls with all your old team mates v your arch rivals...What a man you really were Rob...Legend doesn't do u enuf justice my friend...R.I.P now...your in no more pain now...Love to u and all the family and everyone that knew you...xxxx 🏉❤️🏉❤️🏉❤️
I always loved to watch Rob play, a fantastic player. I never realised what a special man he was. I'm so glad to all the people that have given us an insight into the real man. RIP ROB. God bless you 🙏 ❤️.
Rob Burrow was the original Little Big Man. Legend is a word tossed around with ease few actually deserve and earn it but Rob did. Rob deserved it and earned it in spades - Sinners too. RIP Sir Rob Burrow - never knighted (injustice) but will always be Sir Rob to me.

Rob and Kev are prophets and their message is one of resilience, loyalty, kindness, respect, determination and brotherhood.. they are the archetype of real men… and I’m not even talking about rugby. Thoughts with everyone grieving this icon. I bet he’s up there with Doddie having a kick around ❤
When you see the news that Rob's passing is all over the news both in New Zealand and Australia you begin to realise just how many lives this man has touched. Normally the death of any sportsman coming from out side of those countries would be given just a passing mention., but Rob's death is prominent. What a man, what a legend.
Immense, just , I don't know what to say! He had the most wonderful smile! Hoped he would recover, but, this illness is the pit's. God Bless his children, wife and family, they were, his rock! Now we know where, the smile came from! Rob, one day we will all enjoy a rugby match in heaven, I,am 79, so I have got a privileged seat! Can't play, never could, but I am a grandma, and thought you were great❤y❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've got absolute admiration and respect for Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield and that era of Rugby League but that personally doesn't fill me with anything but terror, strong blokes like that being cut down for no reason Rob Burrow RIP.
It genuinely didn't matter who you supported, as a RL fan you loved Rob. Maybe not for 80 minutes when he was tearing your team apart. One of the most entertaining players to watch and his deeds since his diagnosis speak for themselves. RIP Rob. Thanks for the memories and for your inspiration.
What a man Rob Burrow was a humble man who had respect for his opponents and rival fans alike and opponents and rival fans loved Rob Burrow 🤝 a man of courage and heart of a 🦁 Lion 🤍💛💙 Kevin will be in bits loosing his right hand man two fantastic gentlemen two legendary players sad day for all of us 🤝🙏🏉Rob will be in spirit with us always 🤝 prayers 🤲 and condolences to your family and friends Rob. R.I.P Rob love you brother always marching on together keep fighting 🦚🦏🏐🏉🤍💛💙🫶🤝🤲🕊️🪽
Rugby League almost certainly caused Rob Burrow’s MND. Concussions are strongly linked to MND & he was *knocked unconscious 20 times during his career!* Until both Rugby codes deal with this no parent should let their child play the game.
I've seen this show before after a few games so I apologize for not knowing your names lads, but the guy on the left held it together really well 👍rip to the pocket rocket 🦏💙💛

Considering who get knighthoods it's a travesty both Rob and Kevin didn't receive the award.
