As soon as I saw that Murphy sees himself as 'normal' in the reflection in the elevator I was assured that they're going to absolutely nail the story as well as gameplay. Probably more excited for this than any game coming out this year!
A mix of badass and tragic, when you think about it. He gets rebuilt as this awesome cyborg law enforcement officer, but his very humanity is always in question, or even if he's in control of his own life.

I started the game today and didn’t move past the title screen for 10 minutes. 3 hours in and they've nailed it. Games like this tell you that a developer has love and dedication for the franchise and aren't just after a cash grab off brand recognition.
The Robocop 1 theme was more tragic but also more badass. For the Robocop 2 theme it seems like they wanted to establish him more like a Superhero for the masses, hence the more Superman-like feel. It even feels a bit like a John Williams piece, especially the second part after the main theme.. definitely more classic style than the theme of the first Robocop. If I close my eyes I can imagine I'm watching my favorite 70's TV Series.

The absolute care and attention to detail in this game is fantastic. It takes me back to the 00’s when it wasn’t just AAA games everywhere, but a few bog standard golden eggs appear here and there and turn out to be such fun games to play.
I’m not sure this game counts as a modern AAA game, but rather belongs in the AA category of “not trying to innovate or be some massive thing, just telling a good story with great gameplay”.
I hope this game wears its inevitable 4/10 ign rating with honour. Terminator resistance is one of my favourite games and these big review sites dont know what they are talking about outside of call of duty and the usual big players

It actually hits in the first level if you haven’t played it yet. It is one of the absolute most adrenaline-pumping scenes I’ve ever played in a game. Felt like I could destroy anything. I've played the demo and I love it. But this variation on the theme concerns me. Its setting up a dark tone which is appropriate. But I just hope by the end of it all we get Alex Murphy in the robot suit like the end of the original film. I don't know, it could get very pyrrhic and make you think. I mean here's a guy who's been brutally maimed and murdered. Turned into a cyborg against his will and at the mercy of a monopoly who believes they can get away with murder because he's technically already legally dead. What about his wife and son? Here's a guy who's lost everything.
You mean, if the last stretch of the game is Murphy ditching his helmet and going in bare-faced like he did during the climax of the first movie ? Yeah, that would be sick.

If this does well then Teyon has come a long way from their Rambo game. This is wishful thinking but I hope that this game does good enough to justify a Terminator vs Robocop DLC or expansion.
Beautiful, and haunting. But I would be ultra-impressed if there was an extra option to play an arranged version of the Gameboy/C64 theme as a lil throwback. It could be a more triumphant sound to the menu after you’ve played through the game once or something.

@@giygas_9577 I really do enjoy the premise of the PS2 Thing game and I overall had decent fun but it had some glaring flaws. There was a game mechanic of checking your team's blood and making sure all of them were human but it really didn't matter as some of your team are just fixed to turn so this can happen: I JUST check on one of my team-mates and they're not showing signs but then moments later as I trigger the event, he starts mutating. It completely trivializes the whole mechanic and could do with a redo.
The game boy title screen music for Robocop is still king but this is a very close second especially for a melancholy sound with the OG Robocop theme mixed in.
I have the game, had trouble with the Ed 209 boss fight, but then figured out the loop hole. Now I’m at the part about stopping the bank robbery from the Street Vultures

I’m literally just trying to find the original to buy and listen to, i don’t even want it for myself but i can’t find out wtf song this is actually called or who made it. Any guitar players out here feeling my pain??? I’ve scoured fining this mix, that is in the game. Rn i boot this up on ps5, and plug in a les paul into a half stack play over it…………

One of the most powerful moment in all the Robocop movie is the one is the warehouse where he takes off his helmet. And to think that almost got cut.

Absolutely fantastic. Teyon really know their stuff, soundtrack to Terminator Resistance was 10/10 as well.
