My god thank you for explaining this. I spent 10 mins on it couldn’t figure it out for crap and it’s not like there’s a damn guide explaining it. Appreciate this.
There was a guide that should have popped up the first time the game forced you to open the menu.
@@MajorJakas nopers.
One thing worth mentioning is the fact your Engineering skill increases the bonus you get from each chip, and at higher levels you can get some obscene bonuses from that. These bonuses are particularly useful when you get the late-game PCB that has full auto AND no reloads but also requires you to take a -30% penalty to everything if you want both. With high enough Engineering, your chips are so good that all the 30% penalty does is make you slightly less OP.
It would be cool if they had occasional special chips that negate penalties.
This!!!!!!!
This was so frustrating to work out. The one flaw about the game
Are you serious 🤦♂️
@@MasterMayhem78 no I said this for banter. What do you think?
@@ottooctavius9552it's as hard to navigate as the fast food menus that include pictures.
I think you’re frustrating to work out
@@brendanwalsh2755 only you can find such a simple statement frustrating. Really backfired on you there
Thank you for sharing this. I already finished the game once but, left off some of the chips because the penalties and drawbacks were terrible in some situations.
I figured this out on my own in about 20 minutes. The best PCB board for me was the Tier 6.2 (no way around that 30 percent penalty, unfortunately), but when you use the right chips to block off the other penalties, you have yourself a cannon sidearm.
Now if they could only come up with some rocket boots or a jet pack upgrade system for RoboCop, because I swear there’s waaaaaay more walking in this game than shooting.
Thanks for this. You earned a new subscriber. Clear and precise, keep it up 😎
Oh thank god i found this ! thanks for the video i didnt realise you can but different ones on!! i thought you had to but the same shape on .. thanks so much 🙏
Thanks for the helop! left a like. Enjoying the game :)
I love this game but this was the first thing I didn't really get or gel with until I saw your video and now I feel dumb, thanks mate 👍
Well deserved 👏
Thanks for your help thank good explaining details and breakdown
Took me a while to visually notice the notch locations and why some nodes where grayed out when I slotted it. Thought there was some sort of hidden threshold for using the bigger numbers or something... Makes the merging process make more sense.
Same here. I was considering all sorts of other possible patterns that could be required. Maybe certain percentages needed to be in certain orders, etc.
nope. Just little tabs that have you playing the old pipe game on mobile phones.
Thank you very much. Very helpful. Take this like :)
Cheers good video well explained, liked and subscribed
Thanks fella. Hope you're enjoying the game 😁
Thank You For this Video I was Confused on how to do this.
Hi, where do you find the 5.3 board? there doesn't seem much info available where to find all the boards. thanks in advance.
Thanks for explain the chip merge. The game had no explanation for how it works
Using the chips on the motherboards is some of my favourite things in the game. Basically you're just turning Robocop into an unstoppable killing machine
Much appreciated!!!
I can’t believe I didn’t see this 😂 I feel so dumb but thanks for explaining it. When you said it’s simple I’m like uh no it’s not
Don't feel like it. Even I looked for a video like this 😅 We are learning every day.
weapon spread, i dont understand it, is it more accurate the higher the percentage or the lower it is, the more accurate the weapon is
The tutorial board is worth taking a 5% hit for the full auto mode. I keep finding myself going back to this board.
The later version is better. Still has full auto and gore
Thanks for the vid!
Man I didn’t notice the different edges in them. I had no idea how it worked, I think I need better glasses 🤣🤣.. thanks for the help !
Thank you so much for helping us idiots clarify how this works🔥🔥👍👍
Ohhh! I feel so dumb lol.
Thanks for clarifying it!
Chouette vidéo :)
Is there a was to create specific directional chips with the merger, or is it just a roll of the dice? Thanks
How do you get chips at 30 or 32 %. I am almost at the end of the game and I get 20 to 22% max with a 10/10 in robotics
How do you make the parts over 30. I’ve got 14,16,20
Thank You!!!!! I was totally lost.
That explains alot thank u
Thank you so very much for making this video. It really explains what you're supposed to be doing which I was not getting it all. I must have played the game for 12 hours. I only have one board with 1 simple maze. But now I know what I'm supposed to do with the pieces.
Brother those boards come like rain after you get your first one. Explore EVERYWHERE for them. Thats what I do I leave no stone unturned on each level. I just couldn’t figure out wtf to do with them so I just left it. Maybe now I can beat the pants off of Ed 209. Spent like 20 mins trying to kill him last night.
@@ThePerfectStormGaming there's a few videos but there's a counter on the right where the fight starts that has a grenade launcher that helps. Aim for the center opening of the face of the Ed 209. I already beat the game and missed 1 PCB board setup people are raving about. The chips that go into the board I've collected alot and merged a bunch.
Can someone tell me how to activate the automagic reload board? I can’t find a piece that triggers that effect to work?
@@Jimbo0o617 it just does it for me. I hold the fire button down and never have to reload. Make sure you don’t have any penalties on it. Follow his tutorial and you’ll easily have it working.
@@Jimbo0o617 It's a pcb board you have to find. It's in either one of the chests on the map or the o c p board room table on the other end of the computer.
How do you choose those things on the left side to go to the board. ? Can't figure it out .
Ty ❤
Lol.... Drag and drop !!!!!
Great explanation
Are the boards automatically installed ?? Or just when it says "active,"
if you have finished two boards, are they both installed, or do you have to choose which board you want by making it "active"
Thanks so much!!
You're most welcome 😁
Thank you!
I don’t have any matching ones is it bad if they don’t match?
One of the best shooters ive ever played. Pity about this AUTO system being so complicated. I didn't even notice the Darn UP DOWN LEFT Right pointers to semd the POWER 😅 i was trying to max out the chips and never got a red because the pointers were never sending power. I didnt even see this till i saw you tutorial here. madness. Wish they explained it better. One other slight flaw in this game is the amount of sily side quests amd pointless dialogue. Otherwise 100%
Is there any system at all towards getting the higher percentages? Should i be sacrificing a 15% with 2 13% in hopes of a 20 for example
One of my problems I’m having is I got quite a few of them and trying to use them I noticed I get a lot of opposite things I need I end up using parts to turn things on I don’t think they’re actually working even then none of my plates have all the parts for them there’s always one or two opposite of what I need
the upgrade for auto 9 the 1st 1 will fit
then u do levels find ocp boxes hand chip shapes
Does this game have new game+ where you can replay everything with all the new upgrades?
One of the skill trees says reduced damage taken for limited time by 80% but has the circle icon for ps5 controller. Does it only work during the time u repair or when does that effect activate?
Press circle once for the shield to temporarily reduce damage but press and hold circle to replenish health
So just so I’m clear there is no rhyme or reason to the chip merger? You can combine any random 3 chips and the result will be random no matter what? Like if I combine 3 Lshapes there’s no guarantee it will create a more powerful Lshape?
I thought the automatic reload feeder was a bug since I couldn't reload (but still had bullets) and the message to reload just stays in my screen. They could at least remove this notification with that perk, my ocd make me go crazy about it, I reloaded a save 30 mins earlier just to try to remove this dang notification lol
Looks like your shooting the Matrix in Shadowrun on Genesis. A nice steaming mug of soykaf would be just whiz about now.
It never occurred to me that I could put any chip in any slot. I assumed I had to match the time and rarely found it worth it to get certain upgrades because I didn't realize you can avoid most of the penalties.
Does the difficulty mode have e anything to do with the percentage of nodes you get ? Coz in your video I'm seeing 30%, 29%, 32% and I don't have those high percentage nodes like you do.
Same mine are 12-15% 😂
@carlt9265 nevermind I already platinum the game a few days ago...great game great experience!!
I still don't quite get it. I tried the chip merger a couple of times and all I got was weaker chips as a result. Also on my first board there is a unavoidable debuff slot if you want to go past and get a skill which is a little strange. Actually do think it is worth it though as I get to place a srong chip to wep damage plus getting the skill which is enough to take the -5% to all hit imo. Fun little feature either way!
When you’re putting the pieces in make it so they don’t pass through to the red ones. So ignore a cross up down left and right. And the red thing is on the left. Get one that only goes up down and right.
So what exactly would a max damage + armor piercing build look like?
Do armor piercing and explosive rounds stack?
Only affects the pistol
I thought 5 2 was the best and thought it was the last 1 with explosive rounds. Where did you get 5.3?
Omg, I just noticed the arrow like things around them that show what way they go.
Thanks
Cant get last node on tutorial board right
Thanks.
Is there ng+ included?
I feel so dumb. I did not notice at all that the chips had directional nodes lmfao. That explains why it seemed like some chips seemed to randomly work and others didn’t.
I've noticed that every time I load into a different zone, the board I have selected is reset, I have to select a different one and then back to the one I want to use...
Happening to Me brother it's a bug.
Where do you find the PCB chip that has explosive rounds?
In the prison. Google "best omni board robocop"
Where's the PCB at the Steel Mill?
Ooooooh, i thought those OCP chip things wrre just collectables
They're differently laid out motherboards for the gun
That makes more sense
I love this system
I'm way too stupid for this.
beat ed 209 1st time u go bk to station do evaluation look lefttake is chip
I had no idea that these red nodes were ruining my robocop reload time, thank you
Its obvious
This is confusing as hell. I used all the green percent chips and like nothing is lit up. Still don't get it but maybe I'll latch on later. This game has some botchy spots like shooting over and over and the bullets not hitting the dude. It has its moments
I had no clue, thank you!
Hello, I think my games bugged. Like I have all these chips but can't do anything with them. On pc. Is anyone else having this issue?
But where do you spend skill points?
I still don’t get it. So basically just don’t turn the nodes red if you can?
This was battering my head until I watched this video.
@03:12 Heh... I think with that board I was able to raise my Weapon Damage to like 120%+ and Weapon Spread ( Reduction ) to like 80%? Fuckin' banger until I got the final one with both the Auto Feeder *_and_* Full Auto with which I finished the Game. _Really_ a shame the Game doesn't have a NG+ Mode that lets you do the game more than once but with the previous runs Skills already unlocked 😑
Why dont i have any option to do this with the gun ? The tab is empty 🤷♂️
Follow the story for a bit and it unlocks
@@GamersHeroeshow are your percentages so high ive just unlocked this board in the tutorial 🤷♂️ mine are like 15% highest lol
Absolute legend. Just got the first pcb and was worried about if I can remove chips etc. Kinda wish the tutorial for it was a bit more expensive lol.
Top video though. Didn't waste time with anything irrelevant. Explained everything nice and simply and you speak clearly and eloquently. Thank you.
Get what you need and get back to the game :D Thanks for the kind words, happy we could help
@@GamersHeroes I didn't purchase this game glad I didn't until I figure out what to do
Does the game have new game+?
No
My first playthrough I was only putting in chips that matched the directional shape of the node. I found out later you can put any chip in any spot. Like say if you need a dead end, but don't have one. You can totally put an omni chip in it. Would've been nice to have a better guide in the game. But youtube is good too lol.
Wait you could of used that slot but use a chip that doesn't feed into the penalty @2:38
I’m really struggling with the first one because I’m getting mostly minuses
It is possible to get a bit screwed with the chips you find, not having the right directions and whatnot. Be careful not to combine them too early otherwise you may get in trouble.
@@GamersHeroes I didn’t watch your video properly,I thought I had to use the shapes it shown on the chip
Ah, there you go then :D @@krosieangel
I still don't get it. So are we not supposed to complete the first one right away?
@@Es_keet_it__Litty you can do them all,I did all of them and had loads of the tools left at end game
No sound?
I had no idea what to do 🤷♂️
why are penalty Slots directly connected with the yellow special slots. It makes no sense because this way they are useless. it is only to mock us?!?!?
What features do the omni 5.3 board have? I was only able to find the omni 5.1. Where I can I get the last 1?
не фига не понятно, как у тебя получилось объединить и получить такой высокий процент. у меня всегда получается процент не выше, чем есть
I've never seen such a messy complicated level up system like this.
How in the world did you get so many high value chips? The best I got was like 30 percent
Chips are better toward the end of the game and I did a lot of merging 😁
@@GamersHeroes It's weird. It's like there are certain points in the game where I just automatically get some higher value chips out of nowhere. Before that if I try to merge chips they would never go above a certain value
What is the point of having higher chips? @@GamersHeroes
@@Halauris they add more. A 20% chip on something isn't as strong as adding a 30% chip
Ah thanks @@GamersHeroes
This game fucks…. But this feature is so confusing I had to do a UA-cam tutorial on this
Tf kinda gun upgrade system is this? Someone was smokin crack when they came up with this.
I absolutely hate this for upgrading the gun. Even worse that there is zero instructions.
I didn't think that the board system was that complicated myself, tbh. The board that you highlight as a good board, with the automatic ammo reloading on it, if you fully upgrade that board, what you end up with is a semi-automatic, long range, infinite ammo shotgun, due to the way that the bullets break up. It's excellent on tougher enemies, especially the ED-209 bosses. I would say that board is the best board in the game. I don't use any other. Once you've got that fully upgraded, really, you can merge the rest of the processors into better processors, since you can rely on that board alone. It doesn't make sense to use any other board.
So try not to turn the nodes red? I still don’t understand
The full-auto board that increases gore and armor penetration just annihilates everything. Since you can switch boards at any time, and the same nodes can be equipped across all boards simultaneously, I recommend switching between the two to notice the shotgun effect is easily eclipsed by spraying pounds of lead which actually penetrates and damages.
@@MajorJakas That's what I've been doing, switching from one board for ED209 and bot fights, to another board for armoured merc fights, to other boards for street thug fights. Whichever board I need for the fight. It's especially pleasing, using the shotgun effect on a street thug, at point blank range, and just watching his head collapse.
On another note about shared nodes, be careful if you try to change three nodes for one node in the merger system. I noticed that if you change three nodes for one node, it will take processors out of nodes on your other boards, so you might loose that node if you aren't being careful, and the board that you aren't currently using will not be complete.
"Slots Leave."
I kept setting it up wrong.
I couldn’t upgrade my gun the entire game
This made no sense to me. on to the next video
I still don't get it 😂
VERY small mini game
1:16 wtf is his????? my brain cant explore his trash system
Wow. You people are incredibly basic. This was easy and fun. It was similar to Dead Space power nodes. Go cry in a corner if you want a game to hold your hand.
Very confusing
This game is such a mess I need to watch tutorials in YT lol, why they tried so hard to put rpg elements and dialogues..
