Hell yeah I love Roman, he embodies hardcore bodybuilding to the fullest and his mentality after the hip replacements is insanely commendable💪💪 really cool to hear him talk with Steve
Heard of Roman for years but never exposed to him personally until Chase Irons and now this... Really enjoy the guy's honesty. Refreshing. Now a huge Roman fan
Holy shit, I absolutely didn't expect that combo. I watched a lot of videos from Roman and Mareen recently and totally love them, because they seem so genuine and motivate me to keep it up. I am really thrilled for this video! thanks!
We all love Roman he is a true human being that never sugar coats anything he tells it like it is perhaps the only true straight up bodybuilder in the world no other like him respect brother

dude that apples story is absolutely insane. just could not believe what i was hearing the entire time 😆roman has some good stories for sure. in another podcast his story about nearly dying and grinding all his teeth down was also just unbelievable, what a life he has had
I'm following roman since like ever. and I heard these stories from boarding school and the apple diet and the pro cards probably 15 times. but it always amuses me and I'm always so into it. great content
casual chat was great. Roman sure takes it seriously with conditioning and doing more shows which i really respect. Being transparent with gear is also very helpful - it would be helpful for females too but rare to come by more so than males.
Started training because of Roman 10 years ago when he did the Roman Fritz weeks on the Team Andro Forum. The Forum doesn’t exist anymore but Romans career is doing better than ever!
@@VigorousSteve Its video production got rebranded as "Rep One". They are connected to the german supplement company ESN, just as the Team Andro forum was. However, the forum and all its content from almost 20 years was shut down by them (including the old Roman Fritz weeks :/ )
@vigoroussteve can you do a video on nerve damage from a herniated disc in neck. It’s has cause atrophy and weak contractions in my pec triceps and lat on my right side. Thanks for everything you put out.
Great discussion, I am just discovering Roman. Really like watching him, hearing his insights and his personality. Subscribed to his channel now. Thanks Steve!
This was so cool to hear. I literally have the same genes as Roman. Gaining and eating is soooooo hard, but if I just go to bed hungry two or so nights in a row, I’m shredded to the bone.
I don't think he gets hungry in the normal routine. He only got hungry in hospital. He seems tired of eating that much, and when he doesn't, he doesn't go to bed hungry but still loses weight if he doesn't kinda force feed.
37:00 and on makes so much sense im taking way more test eq and mast or primo Off-season no orals lots on insulin and gh but on prep dosages are lower on sone compounds like test because we are going for a certain look no one is trying to build muscle on prep
I will say, Fouad mentions his dosages in the podcasts and says his test sweet spot was 1250mg and his highest tren dose was 800mg/week and a lot of his regular guests besides Nick have opened up about dosages quite a bit. Fouad just believes a majority of the guys don’t lie and gets defensive over it at times. I appreciate your podcasts and info as always Steve, and loved seeing you and Roman get together. Keep killing it buddy
I can't imagine how he can be competing at the level that he is after his hip replacements. Must be a very high quality surgeon...And perhaps it's possible that it's a testament to the healing and regenerative power of being on juice.
Bros story echos mine almost identically. I became anorexic freshman in high school so about the same age. I was 5’11 maybe 6’1 (current height) 165 lbs I dropped down to 128 lbs to get abs just removing meals and reducing portions down to nothing. I got a shredded 6 pack but had no muscle elsewhere. I then started working out. Got weaker my first few weeks. Couldn’t even squat the bar, I’d go down and have to be lifted up. I was weaker than 8th graders working out for football. A friend of mine told me I had to eat protein so I started eating boom 6 months later 165 lbs jacked and ripped. Seniors were asking me wtf I was taking, swearing I was on steroids. I was also the second strongest lb for lb and 3rd strongest bench vs guys who weighed 300 lbs! I really think it helped recondition my body permanently. Senior year I was 230 lbs with 6 packs abs, natural, strong, athletic and fast af. I let myself go the past 10 yrs up until 6 months ago and I’m back to 218 lbs shredded, veins from my last to obliques. Being 35 I’ve of course take gear but I don’t take much more then 500 total even when blasting, I just don’t need. I’ve gotten into the unreal shape I’m in now with 100 test 100 mast 300 tren. Dropped the mast lowered tren to 200, added in 10mg Superdrol preworkout only. Guys literally think I’m on a gram or more of shit. I preach less is more to anyone that will listen but I do know not everyone metabolizes these compounds or food like I do. I too don’t think I can get fat, I was eating half of a half gallon of icecream before bed for years, candy and carbs like crazy. Doing sales and no physical activity. I got out of shape but 230. Lbs 6’1 with 2-4 abs always poking thru isn’t fat.
So for clarity you mean by dieting once in a lifetime until you are bone dry, will make it almost impossible to become fat even with a massive calorie surplus. So everything goes into the muscle. The fat cells all died?
I might have a lesser degree of adipose tissue like Fritz bc I've always been a skinny person (6'2'' 155-160ish), especially as a kid, and no matter what I eat I don't really gain fat.
They all do 12iu to 20iu, this is no secret, but the majority just downplays it. If they say they use 6iu to 8iu, they're either lying, or run Increlex on the side ;)
